Hasbro Burst QR Chip Modification - TheLVJ - Jul. 10, 2018

  • Is the removal of the chips from single/dual layer beys considered an illegal modification?
  • Is swapping them illegal?
  • Does the same apply for god chips?
I apologize if these questions have already been answered. I haven't found a definitive word on my own.

Yeah, removing QR chips on Hasbro is considered illegal modification, even of god layers.

Swapping them too? Even if correctly reassembled?

I believe so, i'm not sure on that

Modifying beys by taking any part of them out and switching them with others is illegal in tournaments, even if they are the same, the only way to do that is to unscrew the layer which is illegal.
It also applies for god chips or whatever Hasbro would call them

Thank you for the concise answers. I shuffled around a dozen+ of my beys to color coordinate with the drivers.

Shame on me, I guess.
