"Pokemon Star" Coming late 2018 - Common Pickle - May. 04, 2018
Hey Everybody, I just discovered that Pokemon Nintendo is releasing a new Pokemon game called Pokemon Star on the Nintendo Switch, I don't know to much about this game yet so I'd suggest this site for help: https://www.techradar.com/news/pokemon-stars-all-the-latest-leaks-from-the-rumored-nintendo-switch-game what do you guys think?
It looks like a sequel, but I can't be positive.

From what I can tell, there is no proof of "Pokémon Stars" being an actual thing. That image is just fan artwork.
At best, it's just a code name for something the Pokémon team is working on that we have no information on yet. We just know that Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are the last 3DS Pokémon versions and what Serebii says here. If it's not on Serebii, it's likely not a thing. They keep pretty on top of things, so alway good to check Serebii.
As the given article says:

This has been a rumor since like, 2015. Literally before Sun and Moon were released.
