I dont think so if toywiz did that it would be for a high price like you said but they are only selling it for $14.99. I think hasbro will be selling it seperatley.

It appears the manager of Toywiz, who is called John, does not have explicit descriptions of the releases we are debating about. They are for certain all official Hasbro releases though.
However, as a person with a lot of experience in this domain, who knows strategies of marketing, who knows how the North American market is like, and who has generally observed how toy companies act with their business because he is actually quite involved in what Toywiz sells, he really seems certain that Hasbro is not releasing the Metal System Beyblades.
Instead, he really believes that Hasbro has come to a point where it has to produce new Beyblades. As I reported previously, Beyblade Metal Fusion is apparently very popular, and this very high demand makes Hasbro have to release 'wave' after 'wave' of Beyblades very quickly in order to maintain this popularity, and at the same time, in some countries, the anime episodes have also been broadcast at a very rapid pace. However, Hasbro cannot catch up to TAKARA-TOMY, yet that is what they are going to do very soon if they do not slow down. In John's opinion, since there is essentially only Galaxy Pegasis after Poison Serpent and that the latter has already been seen in some locations while the anime's first season has not ended, Hasbro still has to fill the gap, it cannot possibly reach the second season so soon.
In order to do that, he thinks they are creating their own Beyblades, probably with TAKARA-TOMY's consent, and the latter company may or may not release those in the future too. In Japan, it is OK and common to release only two or three things every month, but apparently in North America the market is quite different. He even made a comparison with Bakugan : the North American company had had so much success with the line while the series was not too popular and generally slow in Japan that they asked for more seasons of the anime to be made, and several more items too.
Obviously this is all still a theory, and the fact that those Beyblades have exactly the parts that their Metal System counterpart had I agree it is a suspicion to have, however I think John really deserves to be believed too, because he has more knowledge about this sort of business situation than probably any of us.

Excellent post Kai-V. I can see where John is coming from looking back at Hasbro's past beyblade lineup. Think about when G-Revolution came out and they pushed almost every G series bey out in a matter of months, shooting way past the anime. This caused them to release new beys (or atleast Japanese random booster beys as standard releases) so they would not have to push the HMS before it was ready.

What is so freaking wrong about releasing the Horoscope (Pre-HWS) series in America? I'm sorry if this is random, but come on. First it was the Booster Packs and now those are too much?

It is really not surprising that Hasbro would make some on their own. They do it with Transformers quite often and their relationship with TT about Transformers is very similar to their Beyblade relationship. Takara and Hasbro have worked closely together for the past 20 years or so in both the design phases as well as the marketing ones.

after some minor digging myself, i found that Hasbro has loose release dates, and there might even be a formula of sorts. although it isnt what you all think
see, although i have some more research to do, it is my belief that Hasbro does not release beys individualy like TT, but rather in waves (as Kai-V stated) Let me break it down for you guys. i will use variables as subsitutes for #'s to avoid specifics, which may lead to confusuion
Now, let us say that it is time for Hasbro to release a new series of beys, which is going to be called beyblade metal fusion wave "a". This wave will be released over the course of a set time period, "b". In wave "a" there are "c" # of beys. These beys in this wave will be released at set points durring the time period the wave is going to be distributed. then when wave "a" is finished, Hasbro will move on to the next wave, and repeat the following cycle.
Kai-V, that was a great post you made. Please tell John we appreciate his contributions and efforts to inform us about our hobby. We really do appreciate it.
New beyblades is definatly a good thing. we have already nice part and color variations from Hasbro. New parts and beys are a step in the right direction for them!
What i still do not understand is this...even if more animes are created because of hasbro's influence...eventualy...season 2 will have to reach the US...so how are the newer beys in Japan and the pre-HWS beys not going to reach the US? They all do appear in the anime
Hasbro is very big on relating to the anime. it makes sense too. an it is good for marketing. If you have a child who watches a show, and the child grows an attachment or likeness to a certain object or character on that show, if a toy company sponsering and endorsing that show makes a toy of that person or object (etc) than that child will be inclined to buy the toy because of that likeness or attachment.
Weather you look Beyblade, Zoids, Bakugan, Bdamon, Transformers, and practicaly every TV Show/anime toy that hasbro ever produced, they all did exceptionaly well at one period of time simply because the show was popular and they toy from the show was fun to play with.
and just a final note, agian with alot of thier toy lines endorsed by a TV show/anime, especialy with TT, Hasbro has always made special unique and interesting products never seen ever with thier TT counterparts

That's exactly how they've released toys for the past two decades. When the boxes arrive at the toystore they even say "Wave 1, Wave 2, Wave 2.5, Wave 3, Etc." on them. That does not guarantee time frames though, because stores have to order those waves and if they have a lot of product sitting on the shelves they are not likely to order a whole lot more. Online ordering is different though.
As to why they are making new ones that don't appear in the anime, keep in mind they are not making new clear wheels apparently, just metal ones. So the name Bull is still there and all that. It's just a different version of the Bull.
