So true. When I heard of the World Championships, I got so excited, but then I heard of the age limit, and it was so upsetting. I think I was about 14-15 at the time; I had just missed the age cutoff. Were the 2004 WCs age restricted?

Yes, there was IIRC.

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal... Metal Fury/ Shogun Steel - FALL 2013 [HOBBY] - Dark_Mousy - Feb. 18, 2014

The age cutoff was 14 back in 2004. I was bummed that i was already 15 at the time.

Has anybody else seen any wave 3 starters in stores yet?

I've been out multiple times looking for a new Girago (they've still got all their beywarriors in stock... poor guys), but I still haven't found one, or a Pegasis/Genbull.

The suspense is killing me, haha. I can't get the idea of a nine dollar Girago out of my head...

I live about 2 or a little less hours away from Draciel516 so hopefully I can find them at my Toys R Us. I cannot get over the fact of more R2F, which I desperately need, like bad.

Of course the other stuff is cool to Smile.

Nothing in my local stores. Going hunting again this weekend.

Poor Double Dragon Attack God. I feel ya man, I went back a couple days later and they were OUT. All except another girago which I quickly snatched up

If they did away with the age limit, bladers like us who are over it could have a chance at participating in official tournaments

So, if the Legends were Plastic/HMS re-releases, it actually would make a lot of sense, considering the DVD's of Season 1 are going to be available in late June. Maybe they would also re-air it, but I'd doubt that, since BeyRaiderz Cyborg is also supposed to be around for Fall 2014.

Yesterday, I went to pick up an order from my local Wal-mart(they usually are very good with stocking Zero-G beys), but no wave 3 beys, yet. They did, however, have a good assortment of Beyraiderz where the B-daman used to be.

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal... Metal Fury/ Shogun Steel - FALL 2013 [HOBBY] - Leone19 - Feb. 22, 2014

Local store had all of Wave 3, so:

The F230, for me, seems to be an Orange coloring with a a bit worse than a Brown's performance.

I can definitely do some tests in a Zero-G Stadium later on.

Hoping we'll still get another wave, at least, at least to obtain Wyvang and Balro, not to mention Byakko and Garudas.

So you're saying the Hasbro orange F230 is slightly worse that the TT brown one? D': I really had high hopes for the release of Genbu, now I just felt like O bought it for the warrior wheels :c

At least for me, my Brown did better.

As mentioned in the F230 topic, I did some informal battles of Dragoon F230 (Orange Hasbro) CF against stock Phantom Orion, Orion won nearly 90-95% of the matches.

If I had a bb-10 I'd do tests cause I bought two Genbu's so maybe there's a difference between them and a difference between the orange one and the red one. My orange F230s seem to spin a lot smoother and not as wobbly as my red F230. In battle they also tend to spin for a little longer when resting on CF then the red one.

My tests were in Zero-G and, yes, it does a lot better than my two Reds ever did, but it's honestly not at the level of TT F230's. The matches were close, but Orion won nearly every time.

A shame really that Hasbro's F230 couldn't butt heads with TT's :c at least it's not that terrible cause after I washed my red one it worked a little bit better.

What did you use? Lubrication is illegal, if that was used. Sorry to go off topic.

By the way, does anyone know what happened to that Beyblade store in a New York Toys "R" Us ? Surely it got removed and 'normalised' now, but since when ?

I really agree with you. I just have a feeling that the beys won't be the plastic gen, but another series with a different metal system. But you must admit, a metal dragoon would be pretty cool.

Or they'll probably make mfb combos that mimic the plastics(like what I'm trying to do).

Honestly, "BB Legends" seems like it will refer to mfb-zer-g, so I would get my hopes up too much.

They won't give up on the Super Vortex, huh. Looks like they're basing it off of 4D, at least partially. Sucks that it's not plastics though.
