That is a silly proposition because it has never hit anybody's hand here or in Japan ...

Plus you'd have to be pretty dumb to be holding your hand underneath the openings.

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal... Metal Fury/ Shogun Steel - FALL 2013 [HOBBY] - Tri - Jun. 19, 2013

Unless they were ignorant enough to be really close to the stadium exits, haha.

And yes, that's a pretty silly thing Shining God MS.

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal... Metal Fury/ Shogun Steel - FALL 2013 [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - Jun. 19, 2013

Doesn't look like we'll be getting stickers for em this go around either, from the looks so far. Oh well, I don't really mind, after a while, they start to look really bad, especially with Zero-G beys.

I'm also not surprised that they're leaking out early, haha. I mean, it happened last year for Metal Fury, and previously for Metal Masters, so why not Shogun Steel? It'll be scarce in most places until the Fall, but it'll be out.

I thought somebody would have been metioned this but there is a video of BBG (Beyblade Geeks) unboxing the Samurai Cyclone Battle Set and yes it does come with stickers

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal... Metal Fury/ Shogun Steel - FALL 2013 [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Jun. 19, 2013

My local Toys "R" Us has just got the Samurai Cyclone Set, and I can confirm a few things :

- The Ifrit "Warrior Wheel" weighs just as much as Ifraid the Chrome Wheel. The same can be said for Saramanda and Salamander obviously. The undersides all look exactly the same, even for the Crystal Wheels/"Element Wheels";

- The stickers are indeed there and they are exactly the same as those that come with the regular releases of Samurai Ifraid and Shinobi Saramanda;

- The "Shogun Face Bolt" is exactly the same in the thread section as the Stone Faces, just like I had predicted :

- Hasbro's Zero-G stadium is definitely naturally unbalanced. Hopefully it is clear enough in this photograph :

- The Zero-G Compact Launchers are exactly the same; they even kept the Japanese text on the prongs that says "Migi Kaiten" (Right-Spin) :

You can see my photographs for the recolours on the Samurai Ifraid W145CF and Shinobi Saramanda SW145SD articles on Beywiki :

http://wiki.worldbeyblade.org/index.php/Shinobi_Saramanda_SW145SD#Ninja_Salamander_SW145SD_.28Hasbro_Samurai_Cyclone_Battle_Set.29
Those will have to be retaken later, for some reason my camera would not focus properly and the photographs are quite dark.

So, all that is left for me to do is actually test the stadium.

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal... Metal Fury/ Shogun Steel - FALL 2013 [HOBBY] - Tri - Jun. 19, 2013

The pockets do not seem as low as I had thought. I could really see this being legal for tournament play, only tests will tell.

Nice find Kai-V!

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal... Metal Fury/ Shogun Steel - FALL 2013 [HOBBY] - Naijalak - Jun. 19, 2013

Really? The imbalance of it pretty much voids it for legal tournament play in my mind. Just look at how tilted it is a rest.

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal... Metal Fury/ Shogun Steel - FALL 2013 [HOBBY] - Revel - Jun. 20, 2013

I actually think that the cyclone stadium is not as deep as Takara tomy's. That also might make it seem even more unbalanced since the pockets are lower to the ground. And from the observations the bbg made, the stadium is not as flat as everyone thought. (But of course this is my opinion and I will wait untill kai-v tests it out until I further judge it).

It was just a thought. I didn't say it would be.

I hope they release the stadium seperately from the set, but I highly doubt they will :\

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal... Metal Fury/ Shogun Steel - FALL 2013 [HOBBY] - Revel - Jun. 20, 2013

Does anyone think that the beyraiderz and the bey warrior cyborgs will have the same beyblades but in different forms? For example- salamander salamander (pretty obvious), or shark leviathan and other animal changed beyblades. (Considering beyraiderz will have names like this) rip and rev ifrit, or wind and slide dragoon or something.

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal... Metal Fury/ Shogun Steel - FALL 2013 [HOBBY] - Ingulit - Jun. 20, 2013

Oh my gosh now that I've seen a clear picture I love Hasbro's face design so much more

Thank you for the information and all the epic pics!! I'm legit stoked for Shogun Steel Grin

EDIT: A stadium isn't necessarily bad for tournament play just on the basis of being somewhat imbalanced. Even if it was essentially the Leaning Tower, as long as each of the standard types can do what they are supposed to do as equally well as possible then it's totally good to go for a tournament IMO.

I thnk if they do, they might pull a "Metal Fury", considering TT never released them. What I mean by this, is that since TT never realesded the parts, they might stick old parts with guardian- like AD145 DS, or something similar. Just a thought, for all we know, they don't even have the molds from TT.

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal... Metal Fury/ Shogun Steel - FALL 2013 [HOBBY] - Tri - Jun. 20, 2013

Who knows, molds could have already been made for those two beys. We will just have to wait and see.

Sorry, Kai-V and everyone else who replied to me for wasting your time.

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal... Metal Fury/ Shogun Steel - FALL 2013 [HOBBY] - Revel - Jun. 20, 2013

So Kai-V, would you recommend people who can't get regular zero-g stadiums (me) to buy the Hasbro set? Again I think that the short depth and height of the Hasbro stadium, and the thick pockets making contact with the floor since the stadium is so short, severely hinders the possible swaying action. I think if the stadium was taller and deeper, the pockets wouldn't make contact with the floor and would allow more zero-g action.

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal... Metal Fury/ Shogun Steel - FALL 2013 [HOBBY] - Dual - Jun. 20, 2013

I'm not Kai-V, but I read her thread, and saw a video on it, and I personally would suggest buying it, but I don't think it will be legal for testing or tournament play.
I've been sort of out of it for Zero-G though, so I could be wrong.

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal... Metal Fury/ Shogun Steel - FALL 2013 [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Jun. 20, 2013

I think it is too soon to make a proper recommandation, but if you want to experience some of the Zero-G Attack phenomenon, it is definitely possible to an extent in that stadium.

i have that stadium

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal... Metal Fury/ Shogun Steel - FALL 2013 [HOBBY] - Revel - Jun. 20, 2013

The cyclone stadium's plastic is very hard and heavy, where as the zero g stadium is softer and more flexible (I may not have it but I can tell with battles I've seen). This could mean possible breakage of beys if roughly launched. Yet I'm definitely not saying don't buy it, but if I'm right, just be wary about it. Hopefully Kai-V or someone could test that out.

Eh, what ? Besides the problem I mentioned about fragile tips colliding with the pockets, I have no idea why you think the stadium would break Beyblades ...
