RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Masters/Metal Fury/Shogun Steel [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Dec. 17, 2012 (Dec. 16, 2012 5:59 PM)Thunder Dome Wrote: Sorry if my other post didn't make since to some of you. I'm wondering if Hasbro will also have weight differences in Hyperblades. I was asking if some people could check the different weights (if there are any) between the Hyperblades. Also to check if there are differences between the solo spin times of the BD's. Within Hasbro's Hyperblade items only ? For instance, among four of their Flash 4D Metal Wheel ? I suppose that you should wait some more time before such data can be properly compiled. They are unreasonably super expensive on eBay right now, and since they are only available in the United States at the moment, you cannot really expect one person to get four Flash, hah. RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Masters/Metal Fury/Shogun Steel [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - Dec. 17, 2012 From BeybladeGeeks scale (which is horribly off btw) the weights were almost the same on both Cosmic and Diablo as well, and iirc. I believe Kain_Highwind also got some Flash weights up, and and they were identical. Hyperblades are at the correct weights they should be at. RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Masters/Metal Fury/Shogun Steel [HOBBY] - PikaBlader15 - Dec. 17, 2012 Even so, Hyperblades aren't "fully" out in some places. People would have to wait awhile to get 4 Flash. RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Masters/Metal Fury/Shogun Steel [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - Dec. 17, 2012 Today while searching for them, I only found 2 (along with 4 Hyper Strike Battle Sets) which were a Cosmic Pegasis and Kreis Cygnus. Couldn't get them, sadly. That was all I found out of 3 Walmarts, a Target, and a TRU. I found them at a Walmart. So yes, you can say they aren't released everywhere yet. And Hasbro strikes again with their crappy distribution. :p RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Masters/Metal Fury/Shogun Steel [HOBBY] - PikaBlader15 - Dec. 17, 2012 (Dec. 17, 2012 4:44 AM)Raigeko13 Wrote: Today while searching for them, I only found 2 (along with 4 Hyper Strike Battle Sets) which were a Cosmic Pegasis and Kreis Cygnus. So yes, they aren't released everywhere yet Hyperblades aren't fully out, as I said. In my Walmart, I only saw a Spark FX Proto Nemesis,L-Drago Destructor F, and several double packs. RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Masters/Metal Fury/Shogun Steel [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - Dec. 17, 2012 I saw quite a few Spark FX today as well. God, those faces are... Ew. RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Masters/Metal Fury/Shogun Steel [HOBBY] - 1234beyblade - Dec. 17, 2012 Where i am we just got the regular proto nemesis >_< RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Masters/Metal Fury/Shogun Steel [HOBBY] - Meow! - Dec. 17, 2012 While I'm not sure this is a "What you found at your locals!" thread, but I think I'll start off by saying, I did find a whopping 3 Hyperblades at my Walmart today: Flash Sagittario, Kries Cygnus, and Omega Dragonis. I stripped the paint off my TT Dragonis so I'm not in dire need of an unpainted Omega. Kries looked too disgusting to pick-up and surprisingly, it is navy blue and not black..... but when all else fails, there is flash smiling it's troll smile. Spoiler (Click to View) From my tests, it is the exact same thing as the Takara Tomy counter part. There is no place for fear. I don't have a proper scale, but it tosses Duo around just as easily as my TT. Hasbro BEYBLADE: Shogun Steel - SamuraiPegasus2 - Dec. 17, 2012 I cant wait till 2013 when the world is STILL HERE! Losts of things for hasbro in 2013! hyperblades, shogun steel, and beyblade metal fury video games! RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Masters/Metal Fury/Shogun Steel [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - Dec. 17, 2012 The Metal Fury video games are highly unlikely to be made. TT didn't make any, so I doubt that they invest in a game. RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Masters/Metal Fury/Shogun Steel [HOBBY] - th!nk - Dec. 17, 2012 Given hyperblades seem to be specifically aimed at releasing the actual Takara versions of things, I very strongly doubt they've gone and changed anything more than they would for a normal release of a Takara item - i.e. doing exactly as they always have because this is the normal way things go. Everyone is so warped by Metal Fury that they have forgotten Metal Fight and Metal Masters. Sure, there were small changes to things, but nothing so extreme. Basically, everyone is way too worried about the MW's being different weights. We've seen that Flash is identical and Diablo seems to be within an acceptable weight range, and that all of them so far seem to look identical to their Takara counterparts. Everyone should just chill on that, assume they're normal, and if they turn out not to be, then consider it an exception to the norm rather than an indication thereof. Of course, hasbro parts having slight differences isn't completely unknown, I mean, we had the wildly varying CS's (though maybe this was to emulate the different molds TT released, as unlikely as it sounds), softer rubber for many things (though Takara Tomy parts do vary quite significantly as well there), and some have mentioned the that their recent ED145's are smoother than their earlier ones - though I'm yet to hear from someone with even an old Hasbro one and a Takara Tomy one (if they are the same, then it is likely the new hasbro one is somehow lower friction, if the Takara one is better then we need to examine a possibly overlooked brand difference - though I doubt that's the case, given how eager people were to find such differences back when the part was released by both brands). So, comparisons of other parts between brands would be nice. B: D however is a special case - the takara and sonokong releases vary so much (and seem to change in performance over time) that it would take an incredible number of samples to get a good average, and all of those samples would need to be done by the same person doing hasbro samples to get valid results... Basically, don't expect to be able to determine a difference in B: D even if there is one, however if everyone who buys one does 5 measured solo spins with it when they get it, then maybe we can get some idea of consistency at least. However, this will take a lot of time, and people should stop jumping on youtube videos of all things for evidence either way. Comparisons of rubber feel between brands for appropriate parts is very helpful, comparative pictures and weights are as necessary as always (just no more than they were in Metal Fight/Masters), any noticed changes in design, etc. Honestly, I feel we need a thread that can have its OP actively updated to collect and discuss any brand-based difference, and once we're sure of them they should be listed in the OP (and it'd also be good if things that require confirmation were also listed, albeit in a spoiler to prevent confusion). Could probably go on beywiki once it gets comprehensive enough.... It'd be great to hear about a game. Well, with before your brother starts saying that there will be something, he needs a source for the info he's giving us is as good as nothing. A video game would be handled by a different company, not Hasbro directly. If there were a game, which in this case there isn't, Hasbro would supply the Beyblades for the special editions of the games to the other company. Something like that. RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Masters/Metal Fury/Shogun Steel [HOBBY] - aurawolf - Dec. 18, 2012 im starting to see spark fx in southern California know and i got it on sale for about six dollars in wall-mart hehe but the hasbro l-drago guardian rubber seems alot softer than my takara tomy version and for some reason for the modes they labeled absorb mode as stamina mode and put some weird altered version of lightning l-drago as an example for l-drago guardian on the instructions and as you would expect the metal wheel is hollowed out RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Masters/Metal Fury/Shogun Steel [HOBBY] - Cannon - Dec. 18, 2012 Well, L-Drago Guardian is not a Hyperblade Version yet, so it was kind of expected .. Anyways, STILL nothing here yet. Im not positive, but possibly Diablo Nemesis doesn't have correct mode changing instructions. If you can, could you post a picture of the instructions? I'd love to see what nonsense Hasbro has done this time |
