Answer: There are no problems with Hasbro's Beystadiums; they are simply built differently than Takara's. The number of square inches of the playing surface of Hasbro's Beystadium is actually the same as Takara's. Our Beystadium penalty pockets are designed to provide an added challenge during BEYBLADE battles.

Question: Will Hasbro be adding a Tornado Ridge to its Beystadiums?
Answer: While there are no firm plans at this time to build our Beystadiums with a Tornado Ridge, it is something we are looking into for the future.

Question: My EG is too small for the Beystadium and doesn't work properly.
Answer: Hasbro's EG BEYBLADE tops were designed -- and have been tested -- to perform well in our current Beystadiums. Hasbro EG BEYBLADE tops are actually the same size as Takara's.
Tournaments

Question: What's the problem with Hasbro's BEYBLADE tournaments?
Answer: We wanted to provide kids with opportunities to meet other BEYBLADE fans and compete in a fun setting so we worked with Toys "R" Us to create "Rip Zone" events. In the end, the choice to hold these events were up to individual store managers. While many were held each month with hundreds of kids participating, we were disappointed that some stores opted not to hold the events.

Question: Why can't they be more competitive and better organized like Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic the Gathering tournaments?
Answer: Organized tournament play requires a considerable amount of resources, which are not available to us. Instead, Hasbro has devoted all of its time and energy into developing innovative BEYBLADE gear and keeping a fresh supply at retail that we hope kids will enjoy.

Question: Will you bring back the play zone events?
Answer: At this time, we do not have plans to resume the TRU Rip Zone events.

Question: Why can't there be a tournament for kids 15 and older?
Answer: The official BEYBLADE tournaments are designed for 8-14-year-olds, which are the core BEYBLADE user. Question: If I use a MAGNACORE BEYBLADE, with a magnetic BEYSTADIUM, in a battle against an ordinary BEYBLADE, will I have an unfair advantage?
Answer: This will depend if the BEYSTADIUM is set up with the magnets underneath. If there are magnets underneath, they could be placed so they influence which direction the magnetic top will go. A top without magnets will not be affected.

Question: What is the difference in the BEYBLADE Stadiums?
Answer: Each BEYBLADE stadium has a unique slope for added play value. No two stadiums are ever the same. Each inner bowl is uniquely designed.

Recently, Hasbro updated their Beyblade page with a Q&A, which can be found here. One thing it does show is that they are listening to us.

The other thing it shows is that they're full of it and still don't get the picture.

I've picked out the ones that I think are particularily ridiculous and written my own response to them to show that, indeed, Hasbro is just being full of it.

What a joke of an answer. There's no maximum standard. I mean, there's no rule saying, "you can't make a product TOO high quality." This is just a cheap cover.

...do I even have to explain what's wrong here? Yes, a Metal Driger with an Engine Gear will beat a Metal Driger with a Heavy Metal Core, but...where else are we supposed to get that useful core!? Also, you can get that SAME EG in Dranzer G and Driger G. It was stupid and pointless of them to do that. Again, a lame excuse.

I'm going to ignore this mysterious and elusive G2 Beyblade you speak of and cut right to the chase; what are you talking about? Significant amount of product? No, it doesn't work like that. You release them in ORDER. That's how it's supposed to go...you release the upgrades! People have been waiting for the V2s forever and you're kind of pissing them off with this. And releasing the V2s would have reflected the current programming...whereas releasing the HMS, which don't even appear until the final battles of G-Revolution, does not really reflect anything but your bad marketing skills.

Did anyone else reading this start laughing at, "There are no problems with Hasbro’s Beystadiums?" THERE ARE PROBLEMS. We've been over this a thousand times, Hasbro! Do we have to beat it into your thick skull? The square inches don't matter. The slopes are important. The pockets aren't an added challenge; they're a frustration and make pure attack types useless. Thus, the Hasbro Beyblade scene will continue to be based around endurance and balance forever.
