RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Mar. 22, 2012 No one is saying that amazon is distrustworthy. ebay is a good source, as long as you buy from reputable and trustworthy people with high positive feedback. Toywiz, Amazon, and ebay are all good online sources for purchasing beyblades. Many people use the word "ebay" to refer to buying online in general, or auction sites in general, because ebay is so well known. Similar to how people use the phrase "google it" even if we are not using the google search engine RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - th!nk - Mar. 22, 2012 Who doesn't use google though? And yeah, eBay is extremely safe if you know how to use it, and you pay with paypal, who are rather buyer-biased in terms of rulings and so on. Heck, if you can use paypal there are plenty of people in the marketplace forum here who sell cheaper than ebay and are reliable. The real issue is for those who cannot buy online at all. L Drago Destructor should be a bit of an improvement attack wise on LDrago Destroy, without the rubber, though, I guess. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Mar. 22, 2012 Besides, Metal Fight has done rather well the first couple seasons without any real mode changes being that diverse. Exception being the L-Drago and Perseus series. L-Drago and Perseus pretty much inspired the 4D system didn't they? So yes, in a way Hasbro is good for letting them be completely unique to American Beybladers. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - th!nk - Mar. 22, 2012 Unless they drastically change the anime though, it'll be more disappointing for kids than no bitbeasts. :C RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Mar. 22, 2012 I mentioned that some frames/cores look relatively thin when separate. Which would give Hasbro some foresight and slight discomfort about the resiliency of parts. Thin metal isn't that strong. Especially with Blitz and all... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Mar. 22, 2012 @th!nk: The fools who use bing? >.< The day i discovered MFB had no bitbeasts was a sad day for me...no personality to the beyblades at all.... Mode change is useless unless you can apply it to multi-directional spin battles. In other words, unless you have a dual rotaiting or left spin bey, chances are, you wont ever need the crappier mode chnage of a right spin bey. Think of Perseus. When facing a bey in the opposite spin direction, Defense mode is superior, as it can spin equalize better. In same spin situations, use Counter mode, as there is more metal exposed. With beys like Variares, L-drago, and Perseus, the CWs are only (supposed to) be compatiable with their intended MW. As such, unique situations present themselves, like the change in recoil due to plastic or rubber overlapping metal, or change in contact points because of CW positioning. Now, with the 4D beys who use the standard right spin customization format, no matter the mode you are in, generally, you will still be facing a right spin bey 90% of the time, and most of the time, no matter what mode you choose, it will still just be metal with a CW on top, nothing special. And in that case, the only mode to use is the one that performs the best, making the other modes completely useless. So long as hasbro can keep these MWs in their "best" modes, then it will be fine. And like Extorts said, I also highly anticipate these parts being of much higher quality, as well as being much more sturdy then their TT counterparts. If all things work out as we predicted, then in terms of the Metal Wheels only, it is a decent trade off. It doesnt excuse the lack of 4D bottoms, part changes, and more than likely lack of iron fillings in the CWs (unconfirmed, but likely as it may/may not be a potential chocking hazard?), but we cannot act like this is the end of the world. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - th!nk - Mar. 22, 2012 Counter mode exposes more metal than defense mode for Gravity. bing users don't count, just like it doesn't count as a proper search engine. I doubt they would remove the metal filings for any reason other than financial. As for mode changes, Fang is being sold in normal mode by hasbro. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Mar. 22, 2012 1) My bad. Ill edit my post to switch the 2. I got them confused 2) AGREED 3) Now that I am 100% sure of what the fillings actualy are, then yes, that is the most likely reason. 4) ew... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Hazel - Mar. 22, 2012 The better modes of most 4D wheels is their default mode, though, and whatever mode Fang is in is completely irrelevant. The wheel is butts. I think Flash is the only one after Fang where the default mode isn't superior, except Death, where both modes are still better than Basalt, so... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Mar. 22, 2012 Ya...but Flash is actualy usefull! Atleast the normal mode is not awful, but it's 2nd mode is basicly just a complete boss at everything Fang has minor use on the 130/145 heights, no? It is outclassed though RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Hazel - Mar. 22, 2012 If they're releasing Beat anywhere near Fang, Fang is completely irrelevant. Blitz and VariAres will still be fine, presumably, so Flash won't be a huge necessity... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - ColarBlader2003 - Mar. 23, 2012 i hate now there changing the 4d bottoms like for an example cosmic pegasis is w1052f and they are doing a series of beywheelz i really hate hasbro yo are u guys there i hate hasbro because they are making a series of beywheelz RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Mar. 23, 2012 ^Try to make your posts...erm...less like that...no offense...remove you hr lines, and organize your thoughts, and then you have a much better post =) RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Omega12 - Mar. 23, 2012 Edit: deleted, wrong topic. This hobby is getting expensive. I must have spent $100 this week on beys. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Karl - Mar. 23, 2012 I usually keep my 4D beys in their default modes anyway. At least if i get all the beys on my birthday list I'll be completely caught up! If beat lynx is kept in it's default mode (attack) then I think I'll be good! I'll be so happy if they keep variares in attack mode, if they don't make it into CW on MW. then i'll be disappointed. yet again, the MW may be similar to variares in attack mode so i guess that would be good enough, I already have variares so i just like the idea of variares stuck in attack mode. Considering each request needs the 3 bar codes and a reciept, how would one fill out 2 requests if all 6 beyblades are on one reciept? If this post does not belong here, inform me where it goes, and I shall edit this post, and ask elsewhere RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - CrystalPegasus - Mar. 24, 2012 Basically your screwed RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Mar. 24, 2012 (Mar. 23, 2012 10:31 PM)LeonTempestXIII Wrote: Considering this concers Black Sun Galaxy Pegasus, I will post this here You could always ask the cashier to do two bills ... I assure you that it can be done. And if, for some reason, you forgot about asking that, do a photocopy of the receipt, and add a written message in both enveloppes to tell about this. Sign and make sure that the two enveloppes could be recognised and associated easily. You could almost wrap an elastic band around both enveloppes, to attempt to get them to reach Hasbro together. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters/Metal Fury [HOBBY] - LeonTempest - Mar. 24, 2012 The good thing is atleast there are real people who check these. Thanks This may come as a "shocker", but I may have done this...wtf is wrong with me...lol Atleast now I have a Meteo L-Drago Absorb, and 5 other beys with no value whatsoever, oh and minus $50 or so Yay? The form's rules state that the copying of any reciepts is prohibited. However it does say limit of one top request per redemption form. Does this mean I can include 2 redemption forms in one envelope or no?
