RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - To - Feb. 12, 2012 It's interesting to note that Beywheelz use Right Launcher 2 winders... (click for full size) [Image: Db3xjm.jpg] RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Feb. 12, 2012 Good. Not changing the default launcher design to something which would probably be outside of comfort zones. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - To - Feb. 12, 2012 Also, they are really unashamed Fly Wheels clones. Seriously, I'm fairly certain as a kid I got a set with the same ramp, lol. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Feb. 12, 2012 Weren't those only useful outside? These may be more suited for indoors so yippee. That dude is better looking. I like the new boxes, I think it's a bit less randomly extravagant. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Hazel - Feb. 12, 2012 Everything about all of this is really neat, and I'm glad that there appears to be a way to use real Beyblades in these. Super excited! Super excited! I completely agree ! And Twisted + Bd145 in one package = Thank you Hasbro ! <3 RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Feb. 12, 2012 That was unexpected, the Twisted Befall is quite close to what we like. But intermittently freaky. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - Feb. 12, 2012 Ok Hasbro you have me sold. I want Beywheelz. Damn. A few other things- @faces of guys on ALL packagings and that one photo of the demonstrator OH GOD AHAHAHAHA THAT'S TRULEY HILARIOUS Beywheelz oh god customization so much want @new Metal Fury packaging Loving it, it's symmetrical. Just thought I'd say. @Basalt/Meteo pack IUSDHGIUDSHGFIU SO MUCH WANT THAT SEXY METEO L-DRAGO THAT BLUE BASALT I MEAN CRIKEY, THAT'S TOP TIER RIGHT THERE JEBUS, AMAZING I can honestly say for the very first time, I am anticipating something new and different from Hasbro. Kudos. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - DynaZord - Feb. 12, 2012 The Meteo recolor looks a lot like the Ultimate IR Spin Control Meteo L-Drago, haha. Rai, where do you see a blue Basalt? Am I blind? The one right next to The black and Red Meteo L Drago ! It is more of a Teal or blue/ green RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - kbuno50 - Feb. 12, 2012 Woah Hasbro, that is pretty cool. Better get that MLD vs Basalt double pack before my cousin does. I like those beywheelz too. So much awesome ness. HasWIN, you got some awesome ideas. Doesn't the Tornado Pegasus IR thing look a ton like BBP to anyone? RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Nuzumaki90 - Feb. 12, 2012 That Meteor Shower Double Pack is one of the most beautiful things I'v ever seen <3 (Feb. 12, 2012 4:13 AM)phantomcellistf Wrote:(Feb. 12, 2012 2:32 AM)phantomcellistf Wrote: Destroyer Dome Box Nope, I can see it too, which would make sense seeing how the Destroyer Dome will be released during the Metal Fury line. And from what I can see, the Dome Spin Tracks let the Beyblades "defy gravity" I'm guessing if it weren't for the Dome Spin Tracks, they beys wouldn't last 3 seconds in that dome. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kei - Feb. 12, 2012 (Feb. 12, 2012 2:42 AM)-Vulcan- Wrote: So beywheelz (ugh that name) are basically all spiritual successors of Round Shell MS[/size] Yeah, except Round Shell MS's parts were also actually usable/useful in the regular hobby. The only thing cool about all of this is the BeyWheelz logo. I don't see the appeal of the product itself, personally. Like Round Shell MS's Running Mode, these just seem like they'll be used for performing "tricks" or whatever; it says on the box that there is "3 ways to battle", but they can't at all be similar to what Beyblade actually is. And I don't like how they're trying to pass off the Destroyer Dome as an actual "Beyblade: Metal Fury" product; at least with BeyWheelz they're positioning it as a sub-brand (or whatever it would be called), and for the Stealth Battlers, IR Spin Control, etc. in the "Beyblade XTS" brand. Yes, they do still seem to use the actual normal Beyblades, but it's different enough that it should be differentiated further from the main line, in my opinion. I suppose I should wait to see how it actually works/performs, though ... I understand the desire to make Beyblade an "evergreen" brand, but to me, it seems like they're slowly inching away from the spirit of what Beyblade actually is: competitive battling and meaningful customization. I don't blame them for wanting to take advantage of the Beyblade brand–given how popular it is–but it's unfortunate that it's beginning to be looked at in this sort of light. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - kbuno50 - Feb. 12, 2012 Here, I'll just list the pros and cons so people don't fight. PROS: - BeyWheelz main idea seems neat - Customizable - Interesting ramp - Unique spherical stadium - Different from the beyblade line but still similar in a small way to beyblade CONS: - Wheel system is too similar to FlyWheelz - Ramp is small and may cause loss of wheelz and destruction of property - Different from beyblades - Spherical stadium - What the heck???? - Not really a way to win RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Lynxx - Feb. 12, 2012 :o Is it me or does it look like that the BeyWheelz launcher is compatible with MFB tops... Also is IR Control BBP called Tornado Pegasis??? RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Tris - Feb. 12, 2012 Here's some footy of the "BeyWheelz" thing. Looks cooler than I expected. The performance anyway. lol. Woosh . Edit: (Feb. 12, 2012 2:32 AM)phantomcellistf Wrote: XTS IR Spin Control So. Is That Big Bang Pegasis? Looks Like It. So, It's Gonna Be Called Tornado Pegasis ? .__. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Lynxx - Feb. 12, 2012 Wait, did he say new anime??? Could BeyWheelz possibly be TT's Zero G beyblades??? EDIT: Probably isn't. I hope it isn't. :b RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Tris - Feb. 12, 2012 (Feb. 12, 2012 8:30 AM)Lynxx Wrote: Wait, did he say new anime??? Could BeyWheelz possibly be TT's Zero G beyblades??? I'm not stating anything, but I think so... I mean there's a poster of "BeyWheelz" @2:23 Those are completely new characters. Maybe they're just some random drawing. Feel free to correct me other members! Edit: Since The Dude Said "New Anime" , And There Were No 4D Bey's there, maybe they'll skip 4D and go straight to Zero G (Maybe). I Don't Know. Just A Few Predictions. Because, In 4D Anime, It Was Cut To 12 Minutes, So... And It'll Mess Up The TV Line Ups In The US And Stuff... So, Maybe. Idk. Bwaaah. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Lynxx - Feb. 12, 2012 Just saying, Zero G might not even be BeyWheelz.... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Jaygrazer - Feb. 12, 2012 @ Tris' Edit No, because the guys who play Toby & Faust that are on here were dubbing an episode from 4D, specifically one called "Rebirth! Team Dungeon". They even have a YouTube video of them doing their lines and stating the name word-for-word. Edit: Got it, nvm . RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Latios300000 - Feb. 12, 2012 ok here are my thoughts on the destroyer dome EPIC AND BRILIENT it looks just as good as the zero g stadium video that i saw a few days ago these beys might be hasbros ZERO G cuz the dude said full 360 battles and the way the beyblade moved n the wall im gessing it has rubber on the fusion wheel.......the beywheelz the one with the ramp looks k but idk id rather get the destroyer dome and as for that new characters on the wall that you guys mentioned i say them and if you ask me the boy in the middle looks kinda like a mix between YUKI MIZUSAWA, ZEO ABYSS and DAICHI ( from the original ) maybe its just characters we have not seen yet on 4d. or maybe there is another possibility that those characters might not be in the metal saga at all and maybe just like the original the metal saga will only have 3 seasons and those characters are from a new beyblade series . maybe zero g will be the next beyblade after the metal saga i mean it sounds about right if you ask me but hey its just a theory what do you think (Feb. 12, 2012 9:07 AM)Tris Wrote:(Feb. 12, 2012 9:00 AM)Jaygrazer Wrote: @ Tris' Edit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nC7EC0_4Pkg wait abit in the first minute there just goffing around but soon we heare the true voice and i like it RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Feb. 12, 2012 (Feb. 12, 2012 3:49 AM)Shabalabadoo Wrote:(Feb. 12, 2012 2:32 AM)phantomcellistf Wrote: Beywheelz Set I WAS GONNA SAY!
