It could also pass for modern art with a bit more paint splashed on the bowl and some fancying up of the base.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Feb. 11, 2012

I must admit it did cause a flashback to my childhood... Something about painting with marbles... I can't remember clearly, but it's there...

(Feb. 11, 2012  3:47 AM)To Wrote: I don't really know what to say with this new cycle of Beyblade merch. It could be Nelvana ordering English exclusive animation if 4D is set to end in April. 4D switched to the half episode format at episode 26, giving them another 13 full length episodes if the series ends this April (assuming two half episodes become one full episode). Nelvana could've ordered another 13 to boost the episode count to 52. Nelvana has sold Metal Fury as a 52 episode series.

If this is the case, I wonder exactly how they're going to incorporate BeyWheelz into the 4D/Metal Fury anime without making it look stupid.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Ga' - Feb. 11, 2012

The Sphere thing (which I actually like btw, I might get it for the lulz) could probably be represented as the Sphere 360 Stadium from 4D, so it's not completely stupid.

That 'Beyblade Destroyer Dome' has a crazy gimmick, lol. Hopefully I can make a Galaxy Pegasis do a barrel roll! a loop in this thing.

I saw these at toysrus today and i just realized that thats Fang Leone........ http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-BEYBLADE-Metal-Fusion-Metal-Masters-HOBBY?pid=897674#pid897674

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Ga' - Feb. 11, 2012

We already established that when news was first posted about it.

Don't get me wrong; I rather like the Destroyer Dome thingamahoozits as well (I've been meaning to get my dad a new fishbowl...). But what if, after the supposed 13-episode stretch the BeyWheelz are said to appear, they start to superimpose or somehow write them into the other, "normal" episodes as well?

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Feb. 11, 2012

I'm going to steal something To said on facebook.

Do you remember the 12-Episode Yu-Gi-Oh thing with the Capsule Monsters?

No?

Don't worry, you won't remember beywheelz in a few years either.

i rember the cpulse monster they were my favertie thing about yugioh along with dungeon dice monster their where i nice change from the standard card format
the beywheelz are just simply hasbro trying to get more money on the side we dont need to buy them and im not gonnna touch them if we just keep buying the proper tops they will evuantlly realise that the gimick are not popular and will then focuss more on the normal tops

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Feb. 11, 2012

Do you not realise that your position on capsule monsters could easily be some kids perspective on beywheelz?

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - To - Feb. 11, 2012

I have a hard time believing Capsule Monsters was anyone's favourite anything. It wasn't Dungeon Dice, it was this:

I don't think I've ever seen those in stores, and apparently it was killed off after 1 release.

Truly outrageous:

Edit: Sorry

That guy looks a little disturbed.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Synth - Feb. 12, 2012

oh my, is that an oversized Burn pheonix and poison serpent?! it makes me wonder if the stadium will really work Uncertain

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Feb. 12, 2012

He seems to wonder : "Is it going to work like it should ... What is happening ?"

Finally found pictures!

Soo... similar packaging for the Metal Fury line and light green and white for the XTS line? Also, they seem to market Beywheelz as something apart from normal Beyblades since they used "Powered by Beyblade."

Edit: also, it looks like the Destroyer Dome has regular Beyblades with some ring you put around the metal wheel... I think I saw those two Beyblades in the large display with the others.

Edit: Beywheelz demo

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Feb. 12, 2012

Oh thank you Jesus we finally have a customization enabled gimmick series!

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Feb. 12, 2012

I really do not think that normal Beyblades were used for demonstration. The tops for the Destroyer Dome have to be almost completely rubber.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - phantomcellistf - Feb. 12, 2012

Look at the box for the Destroyer Dome, first off it's in the Metal Fury line. Two, the blades have metal wheels and, three, the code cards depict them without the rubber thing. Edit: which are called "Dome Spin Tracks"
Edit 2: It's strange that it's a Metal Fury set with normal Beyblades and not a Beywheelz set...

So beywheelz (ugh that name) are basically all spiritual successors of Round Shell MS that battle in a ridiculous and glorious sphere stadium?
Sounds kinda cool.

Hm, it is true. However, they are not the same Beyblades at all, since apparently there is a bottom rubber piece as well, not just the band around the Metal Wheel.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Feb. 12, 2012

This is scary. None of those facebolts I can recognize or even infer an implied relation to any existing 4D Beyblade or regular Hybrid Wheel system top. Except for maybe a giraffe in there.

I think you're getting ahead of yourself. The Dome set doesn't include Beywheelz, but regular Beyblades and the Dome Spin Tracks. Beywheelz are totally different and have their own weird set.
