RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - Kai-V - May. 18, 2010 (May. 18, 2010 12:03 AM)To Wrote: Silly Kai-V, I know that. I'm just saying that they might be attempting to release Wave 2 in both the US and Canada the same time. Since with toys, IIRC, there's usually about a month between the release of a new wave.Oh, that is a whole other semantic meaning hah. I do not know if they really expect us to wait that much before the second wave though ... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - Priscient - May. 18, 2010 theflightyellz Im not trying to be one, sorry if it seemed like I did. Anyways, going to the same toys R us on this saturday that I went to about 2 days ago with any luck I'll find some seeing as there is more sightings recently. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - Toonpenguin - May. 18, 2010 If Hasbro plans to follow the anime and there is 1 episode a week then on Sat Aug. 14 EP 13 will premiere, which as we all know is the episode in which LDrago is used. So if Hasbro is following the anime a second wave in Aug doesn't sound too far off RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - Priscient - May. 18, 2010 Not exactly positive if this is related to the actual toyline but, Did anybody see the beyblade commercial? (Other than on the website) I really never watch T.V anymore. =/ RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - Kai-V - May. 18, 2010 (May. 18, 2010 1:45 AM)Pockyx3 Wrote: Not exactly positive if this is related to the actual toyline but,Which one ? There are commercials for the toyline and the anime ... Today, they started airing a commercial for the contest, so they show the toys a lot. Most of the others were about the anime. The US date for ep.13 would be Aug.28, assuming they have four on the first day I didn't know they played 4 on the first day (and the video online I thought was a leak) Though 1 thing that is strange about wave 1 is that they have Aries ,which doesn't appear in the show till after LDrago but aside from that they appear to be following the anime. Anyways how long would you guess it would take till Hasbro's MFB start appearing on ebay and such? RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - ArgorokKing - May. 18, 2010 seems there including the old plastic launcher(the long one) as the ripcord for lightning ldrago, im not sure if anyone posted this but here it is its in the attached file RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - Beyonomics - May. 18, 2010 (May. 18, 2010 2:05 AM)Toonpenguin Wrote: Anyways how long would you guess it would take till Hasbro's MFB start appearing on ebay and such?I was wondering the same thing actually. I would assume they would begin to appear in large quantities once the anime/toy line hits the US. Right now there isn't really a large demand for them, aside from users on this site. However, I would expect Canadian sellers to take full advantage of our early release. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - CherryICG - May. 18, 2010 4th period teacher made me angry today, I got sent down to the office for refusing to sit beside someone who was incessantly punching me in the arm. Instead, I'm going to bike over to the mall and check for Beyblades in Toys 'R' Us and Walmart. Kitchener, Ontario, Fairway street. For anyone who cares. If I was in Canada I would stock up on them now when the demand is low then when the demand during the US release results in no one being able to find the blades I would put them on ebay . I wish canadian Walmarts/TRU would sell/ship to USA (correct me if i'm wrong). If they did I believe they would see a huge spike in demand RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - NightPegasus - May. 18, 2010 I went to a kitchener location and toyrus/walmart has a few things out and I've already started buying the equipment that is released so far my next trip will mostly likely contain these, laucher grip, string launcher, staduim and another beyblade RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - CherryICG - May. 18, 2010 (May. 18, 2010 3:30 AM)NightPegasus Wrote: I went to a kitchener location and toyrus/walmart has a few things out and I've already started buying the equipment that is released so far my next trip will mostly likely contain these, laucher grip, string launcher, staduim and another beyblade Did they have many blade models? I'm looking for an Earth Aries, but I can only find it from Takara Tomy on Ebay, and I don't want to order anything else on Ebay... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - Kai-V - May. 18, 2010 OK, seriously, unless you are in a different province than Québec and Ontario, post your purchases in the Recent Beyblade Purchases topic. We will have to figure out a clean way to organise a list of the items available in some cities ... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - CherryICG - May. 18, 2010 Perhaps a chart? Users could PM someone info about their city, and that person could then organize a chart with easy-to-find information. ... I'll do it? I'll do it. If everyone could just send me any information they have about their city and what Beyblade products are available there, at what store, I will organize a comprehensive chart for each city. I'll try and make it like an inventory list. PM me what city you live in, what province, and what you can confirm you saw at what store. PMs are nice. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - ripcord - May. 18, 2010 i bought a storm Pegasus at duffrin mall two days ago and i really liked it. but the store was sold out and now there are adds on TV so the word is spreading. people who live in Toronto better get their move on!!! RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - NightPegasus - May. 18, 2010 I know the feeling ripcord and CherryICG i think that is a great idea and i bought a storm pegasus and its sweet but i can only buy things when i can and yeah i've seen a few other kids going after this stuff already from my area RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - CherryICG - May. 18, 2010 I just mean a very general idea of what the store is putting in stock... I don't mean a constantly updating system of reference... They might pump them out fast enough that this isn't necessary, but if that doesn't happen this might be nice. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - To - May. 18, 2010 ITT: Sightings Forum. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - danielson1234 - May. 19, 2010 In Hamilton, Ontario there are beyblade in TRU and the Walmart in Ancaster. In Walmart there are many grip launchers and double packs but last time I checked there weren't really much singles. In TRU there are a lot of single and double packs and a lot of stadiums. Hamilton is like 45 minutes away from Toronto and is worth the drive! RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - CherryICG - May. 19, 2010 Yah, To has a better idea. Just post what you've seen here. I would have posted earlier, but when I got home I crashed on the the couch so hard I left a crater, and entry debris still scatters the surrounding landscape. Anyway, I biked to TRU and Walmart today. I saw nothing at Walmart (Fairview Mall) but TRU had a small display with blades outside of the video game section, about counter 10. They don't have many different models, but they have many of what is in stock. I definitely saw; Storm Pegasus, Rock Aries, Dark Bull, Dark Wolf, Dark Cancer, Rock Leone, but I was very surprised that there were no Sagittarios. I may have also seen a Wind Aquario, but I'm not sure. I just read off titles, most of the ones mentioned could be found single, but the double packs were $17.99 and I'm not sure what combinations they had, but I didn't see Rock Aries as a single. Having not even progressed to the part where the crab guy comes in, and his blade being displayed as garbage in the Anime, why wouldn't they put Kenta's model out instead of his? First releases are all about sales... TRU also had some Beylaunchers, (I can only confirm in blue) and a few of the handles attached to either launchers. No Beypoint systems, and only the two-hole stadiums that were seen in the video from the New York Toy Fair that has been circulating around the site. No portable one, obviously. I bought Rock Leone on impulse as one of two defense types there. Total came to $11.29CAD. Now, please excuse me, I'm going back to sleep. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Spring 2010 (Canada); Fall 2010 (USA & UK) - Juno - May. 19, 2010 I have some Bad news today, for any Nova Scotian who's as eager as me to get their hands on one of Hasbro's new "Beyblade: Metal Fusion" starter tops. Of course this bad news isn't exclusive to the starter tops themselves, but rather any of the Beyblade: Metal fusion Customizable tops, and accessories related. In no particular order, this is how the Beyblade situation looks in Nova Scotia as of now. -Walmart- Due to the ever uncaring upper management in charge of Walmart's toy stock, All that the Nova Scotian stores located in the greater Halifax area have to offer at this time, are the electronic tops from the Metal Fusion line up. And I'm not joking when I say that over 90% of the stock was the same top. ( Dark wolf for those of you who care.) I believe it's worth mentioning that none of the customer service employees at THESE locations can help you. However, one employee did give me the number for home office. When I called the Number that I was given, I waited for around thirty minutes and then was granted a very brief conversation with the individual responsible for organizing the orders that are requested and then filled for all of the stores located in Nova Scotia. Being the business woman that she was, She tried to assure me that I was a valued customer, and to keep an eye on the in store stock. When I pushed the bill a little bit, I was met with a slightly more corporate response, which went a little something like this. " I can't guarantee, that you'll see the product that you want in the near future. several factors that I'm not at liberty to discuss with customers will ultimately determine the variety, and relatively number of the product shipped. " Here is a list of the current Stock in Walmart stores across Halifax/Dartmouth. Bayers Lake - Dark Wolf ( Electronic top ) - Storm Pegasus ( Electronic top ) ( few in stock) Mumford - Dark Wolf ( Electronic top ) Dartmouth Crossing - Dark Wolf ( Electronic top ) - Storm Pegasus ( Electronic top ) ( few in stock) Lower Sackville - Dark wolf ( Electronic top ) -Toys R Us- The situation at Toys R Us was completely different. As I merrily skipped down the main isle ( Not really ) I thought happy thoughts. (that's actually true) I smiled, sound in the knowledge that Toys R Us is the do all end all source, for many a product I should have stopped caring about years ago. However, as I rounded the corner and entered the section which is stocked primarily with toys directed toward young males, all I was met with was a very sad face and much disappointment. (Also true) By exactly 4:45 PM I was really hungry, and meant serious business. It was time to go to the customer service counter and ask what the heck was going on with my Beyblades. Much to my relief I wasn't the only customer around who had some questions about the product line and when it would be in stock there. It turns out that the product shipping was delayed. The manager had two reasons for why this may have occurred. The first was quite logical. The order made for their location ( there's only one in Nova Scotia) Could have been submitted at a later date than intended. The second reason he gave forced me to perform a mental face palm. IT seems that stock may have been diverted to different store. Meaning that some other Toys R US might have gotten Nova Scotia's Beyblades because they sold like hot cakes. ( I does not approve of this theory Good business or not!) Mind you he assured the other customer that it was probably the former and not the ladder of the two. As the conversation between the two ended the manager suggested that if they would still be interested, he was confident that the line would arrive no later than early next week. In short : Dartmouth ( Mic Mac Mall ) ETA: Monday or Tuesday ( the week of Friday, May 28 ) Keep waiting Nova Scotian Bladers.
