RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Justaway - Jul. 01, 2011 Yes it is similar to my TTs Galaxy Pegasis but my R2F tornado stalls almost everytime(maybe because I dont know how to control it). And I want to know that does the bar make a difference for the rubber tips?...And if u can check please tell me whether Hasbro R2F's rubber part moves within the tip or no.. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Own-Ray - Jul. 01, 2011 the bar on rubber tips is to stop it from being pushed in too much but some rubber tips don't have the bar RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - amit93 - Jul. 01, 2011 (Jul. 01, 2011 2:09 PM)SAM10795 Wrote: Yes it is similar to my TTs Galaxy Pegasis but my R2F tornado stalls almost everytime(maybe because I dont know how to control it). And I want to know that does the bar make a difference for the rubber tips?...And if u can check please tell me whether Hasbro R2F's rubber part moves within the tip or no.. i tried to move it, but so far it is fitted securely in it, it will only move if you force it too. i guess the bar is used to that the rubber tip doesn't experience inertia because it has a greater contact with the bottom, causing the rub to spin with the plastic component of the tip. Since the rubber is indented the bar is what causes the tip to spin more efficient because it causes the spin from the inside (as the bar is lowered into the tip), this cause also be the reason why people experience stalling with the Hasbro r2f (i have only had on stalling experience with it) because the lack of the bar leads to less contact with the plastic component of bottom and rubber component. It's kinda of like how wearing a seat belt prevents you from moving in a car, you accelerate with the car because the seatbelt allows you to move with car. (Jul. 01, 2011 2:15 PM)Own-Ray Wrote: the bar on rubber tips is to stop it from being pushed in too much but some rubber tips don't have the bar that can serve a purpose, but the shape of the R2F will prevent that from happening anyway RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Jul. 01, 2011 To clarify: Does the triple set have a bar on RF or R2F? And no, that's why the hasbro R2F is worse than the TT one. No bar causes looseness and stalling. The shape does little to help this. Wrote: That Dark Wolf faceoff pack could be the worst faceoff pack, it faces competition for that from Dark Wolf DF145FS/Storm Aries 125S Man, I hope you're right, but don't expect it, because it's kinda like Bakushin Susanoo, with 90WF, getting 105F instead... I hope not, but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't release it. Shame, because it's the only worthwhile bey in that set, really (even though poison sucks, the purple one looks SWEET). Other than the cool translucent black Escolpio/"Scorpio". (Jul. 01, 2011 2:15 PM)Own-Ray Wrote: the bar on rubber tips is to stop it from being pushed in too much but some rubber tips don't have the barThat's not the only purpose it serves. It helps prevent the tip "stalling" as non-barred RF's do. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - NightWolf7919 - Jul. 01, 2011 That Wolf Clear Wheel from the faceoff pack has to be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Even though there are no useful parts from that, I'm buying it definitely RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - amit93 - Jul. 01, 2011 th!nk, i basically tried to explain the stalling using an understanding of physics, but the shape of the R2F prevents it from going up into the bottom. I honestly dont know why Hasbro is releasing so many Dark Wolf double packs, the over abundance of dark wolf at shopping centres cleary is failing to send a message. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Blitz Unicorno - Jul. 01, 2011 @th!nk, Cyber Aquario 105RF is also worthwhile, it'll be a better way for Hasbro bladers to get RF because you also get an Aquario CW as well. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Jul. 01, 2011 It's still not that worthwhile, but yeah, I guess it is one of the better sources of RF's. That said, I'd not exactly like being flooded with Cyber's and 105's. Good economic choice for TT/Hasbro, but yeah. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Justaway - Jul. 01, 2011 And IMO Cyber should also be having a good attack(IIRC it is only the HWS replica of the Pre-HWS Pegasis isn't it?)..so almost all parts will be useful...although except RF and Aquario most are outdated RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Blitz Unicorno - Jul. 01, 2011 @th!nk: You'll be flooded with Storm's, Pegasis' and 105 like me otherwise @SAM10795: RF and Aquario aren't outdated. Also it doesn't matter that Cyber is the HWS replica of Pegasis, it still doesn't have good attack. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - amit93 - Jul. 01, 2011 i dont know whether this is the same problem with the limited edition cyber pegasus 100 hf IIRC (soras bey/ one with the game) but i found the wheel to be rather light and not delivery much attack potential (possibly due to the protrusions of the metal wheel, dont take my word for it) RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Justaway - Jul. 01, 2011 I said the same...'except' Aquario and RF, most parts are outdated...now I realize the value of a comma...Oh I didnt know that it didnt have good attack unlike Pre-HWS Pegasis..thanks for correcting me. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Jul. 01, 2011 Cyber sucks. Storm is generally better, for reference. The reason Cyber sucks? A few, firstly, pegasis isn't even very good anymore. Secondly, when it was good it still had tremendous recoil, so making it lighter increases that problem. Thirdly, being lighter means you have less momentum, usually. Fourth, a CW ruins the slopes. Fifth, the shape is altered slightly to be less aggressive, probably to fit the CW in and reduce the Recoil, but that has also further reduced it's attack use, and it's lightness means it still suffers recoil badly. Ray Unicorno: I've got lots of RF's, a benefit of not being stuck to hasbro and one being in almost every multi-bey set, plus getting two from my first two RBV6's helped a bit. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Blitz Unicorno - Jul. 01, 2011 I've got lots of RF's too, but I also have a lot of Storm's, Pegasis' and 105's. Now, whenever I get a Storm Pegasis, I just take the RF, the face and the sticker sheet and throw the rest into the bin RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - amit93 - Jul. 01, 2011 the lack weight does decrease momentum, but increasing the overall velocity of the bey can rectify that. however thats off topic, most of the "legends metal wheels" if we had to give a collective name suffer from those problems, however, it was nice of hasbro to atleast acknowledge the prehws beys i just realised i now have 3 storms and 4 pegasus (pegasus I) wheels and too many 105s RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - AeroRespawn - Jul. 01, 2011 Argh all of this talk about RF's and R2F's is making me wish Hasbro will sell some kind of "Rubber Performance Tip Set" which comes with RF, R2F, RS, RSF, & CS. (even though it isn't completely rubber) If only Hasbro did that. They'd be appreciated a bit more. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Justaway - Jul. 01, 2011 Then people will only buy that set instead of the beys with which those parts comes...eventually it may happen that all WBO members have only that set and no Ketos/Unicorno/Galaxy&Storm Pegasis...except for the collectors...and BTW you missed LRF RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Blitz Unicorno - Jul. 01, 2011 Hasbro will probably end up not releasing LRF... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Janstarblast - Jul. 01, 2011 Um, all these posts above me, probably belong to one of the following- 1. Random Thoughts Thread. 2. PM. Also, there's no need to speculate about new releases... Its almost impossible that Hasbro or TT even releases such a set... Yes, they might release something like a URS, which contains most rubber tips. THIS MARKS THE END OF SPECULATION ON THE POINT OF RUBBER TIPS.
