Some quick notes;
The mold of R2F is different, other than missing the bar. It has more plastic on the outside than TT's R2F, by this I mean it has a different and more filled in design on the outside of the tip.
I haven't noticed any rattling, but I have noticed some weird movement out of it. It seems to stall in place a lot more than my TT one ever did.

And for those who don't know about Hasbro's CS, it's a totally new part. I've been doing some good playtesting for about a week, and it really is a great choice for aggressive defense. MF-H Gravity Perseus ATK BD145CS (Hasbro) is a beast.

Well, these two tips has me wanting to buy the Hasbro versions, just to see the differences for myself XD

They honestly are worth it. Both should be looked at as new parts from their TT counterparts, especially CS. Hasbro's R2F isn't all that different, aside from the cosmetic changes and harder rubber.

And Beyfan, I did the math on my collection. After my order from you arrives, I'll have 53 beys. Rose Gold face here I come :3

Yeah, I also want to see the small changes that Hasbro made to the MW. But, it'll also give me a Galaxy Pegasus that I'd be more willing to use, lol. Since I haven't really use the one I have, only because of the painted MW, hahaha.

Hopefully you'll be getting the stuff I sent over sometime this week.

THANKYOU, that stalling is due to the looseness caused by the lack of a bar. THIS is the problem with not having a bar, not "tips falling out". I don't know where that idea came from (it's very rare a tip would fall out), but that's not the issue. The issue is stalling, and the "wobbliness" once they get loose. It's detrimental to performance.

That said, could you compare the casing to that of RF? (Hasbro and bar-less TT?)

And others have been saying the length of the rubber on CS is inconsistent. So, yeah, look before you buy.

btw, does anyone think that hasbro's new rip gauge launcher can be an l/r launcher?

Umm, I initially dismissed this, but Dadahvid may have been right. I've searched to see if this has been posted, but didn't find anything, so here's EE's picture of the Rip Gauge Launcher:
http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HY32329

Look at the prongs it comes with: one left, one right.

Still, a beylauncher LR would be plain better.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - NightWolf7919 - Jun. 11, 2011

Whaddya know? They did release a left spin launcher. However, the ripcord is still extremely short, so it doesn't mean muich

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - BeybladeStation - Jun. 11, 2011

Again, everyone, I meant it feels like it will. Just tip it over and wiggle the R2F, it feels not the safest way to put it in. But yes, that is because of the bar.

Anyways, the Rip Gauge Launcher looks cool, heh it doesn't seem to have a BeyPointer like TT ones. R AND L prongs look cool.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Jun. 11, 2011

Ahh, okay, that's cool. I'm just tired of people saying not including a bar is fine because it won't come out, as that's not the issue Tongue_out

Yeah, looks okay, their new colours and everything seem to be really "Gritty", all these dark, dusty metallic tones...
Maybe that's what's up with the renames of everything, they're trying to make beyblade more "masculine". Next thing you know, Killer Beafowl will be "Evil Lumberjack UW145EWD", Screw Capricorne will be "Moustache Capricorn 90MF", and Hell Kerbecs will be "Steel Cap BD145DS", with Boost Disk renamed Boot Disc.

Also, the newer face-off packs are getting more extreme with the recolouring, even on the main beys. Ray "Striker" gets a Green D125 and CS, Dark Wolf gets turned blue, still sucks, and Thermal Lacerta gets desecrated.

Honestly, taking something as groovy as Thermal Lacerta and changing it's colour scheme to one which appears to be based on a rotting, mouldy pumpkin... Really, was that necessary? You know, I really wonder WTF is going on with hasbro's design people...

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Jun. 11, 2011

The Thermal Lacerta recolor looks like the stereotypical Chinese antique.

Really? I've never seen Chinese antiques...
The clear wheel looks a lot like Earth... I mean, mother Earth. The brownish part being the ground, and the green part being grass.....
Thunder Leone? Oh please! Dark Wolf, it looks good, but yes, it still sucks...
About the Ray Striker recolor, its dumb...

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Jun. 11, 2011

Thunder Leone actually looks like they took the generic Leone clear wheel and put terrible yellow paint on it.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Jun. 11, 2011

Re: Chinese Antique: Huh? Really? Am I missing something, all I'm seeing is rotten pumpkin.

Also, the bey that Blue Dark Wolf comes with, Ray Serpent M145(Q, I'm assuming, but can't tell for sure), that was a really poor colour choice to do serpent in... It looks like snot. I mean, serpent is a pretty cool CW, and it could look good in a lot of colours, but that is not one of them.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - NightWolf7919 - Jun. 11, 2011

WTH? On the Thermal Lacerta starter pack, it said balance. On the two-pack, the exact same beyblade says stamina? Seriously Hasbro?

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - BeybladeStation - Jun. 11, 2011

I think they've done it before too.... I guess it's because it's a Balance Pack of two Stamina Types..

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Janstarblast - Jun. 11, 2011

@th!nk- What? Does that mean Serpent is a really good clear wheel?
Well, that double pack just shows Hasbro's endeavor to make the BAD parts 'look' better.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - BeybladeStation - Jun. 11, 2011

For me, this opens up collection purposes. Not that it's rare or anything, but you don't see people buying 2 packs that much. I might just buy the Striker one, heh.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Jun. 11, 2011

The green M145 and Q looks like the same parts from Ray Cancer. From that team of scrappy's. Gracies.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Jun. 11, 2011

That Rip Gauge launcher is just like the Digital Power Launcher, but as anyone who actually tried it knows, it is quite weak. I hope this is not the only left- and right-spin launcher they will release, but it seems likely ...

Also, there are two Gravity "Destroyers" ? Anyway, both only come with a right-spin 'ripcord' launcher, not even a left-spin one ...

Also, Gravity "Destroyer" does not even come with a left-spin 'ripcord' launcher, it has a right-spin one, hah.

Hey! What do you mean to say! They release it with the ripcord launcher L/R or they release it with their trademark, super small ripcord launcher R? If the latter, I think we are gonna get some heated replies on this thread... Still, thanks for the update! Stupid

EDIT- Well, my question is answered. I didn't read your edited post. Sorry Kai-V.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Justaway - Jun. 11, 2011

That makes no sense...two Gravity destroyers(hope they really get destroyed)...that too none with left-spin launchers..it means that buying a Hasbro MLD or Hasbro LLD will be mandatory for anyone who wants to spin it both ways(i.e...if it is able to spin both ways)...one-way spinning Gravity Destroyer that too right - spin..makes it less worthwhile for competition than the TT one

Hm ... what exactly is the Gravity Destroyer ? If it only spins on right , then it will lose to RS ... ?

They even got the name of Rock Giraffe wrong ! ''Rocky Zurafa'' ! Haha.

Dude, its been ages since we know that Gravity Perseus is Gravity Destroyer, and Rock Giraffe is Rock Zurafa.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Jun. 11, 2011

Seriously, have people been living under a rock for months ...

Also, no, Gravity "Destroyer" can definitely spin both ways, but you would expect Hasbro to at least include a left-spin 'ripcord' launcher with it, if not both directions in the same pack.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - BeybladeStation - Jun. 11, 2011

Wow, this looks quite interesting. Though it seems here that it could be so possible. A lot of people will be buying the "Rip Gauge" Launcher if they don't have an Left Light Launcher...

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Hov - Jun. 11, 2011

I like the CS recolor! I might buy one to keep as a "rare" tip Eee. And the light green so reminded me of Draciel =p

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Wolverine Mode - Jun. 11, 2011

Hm ... Gravity Destroyer can't spin both ways ? That's like the Hasbro Metagame will fall down if they lack L/R Launcher and Beys , they are lacking most of the things ...

Quote:Dude, its been ages since we know that Gravity Perseus is Gravity Destroyer, and Rock Giraffe is Rock Zurafa.

I was assuming Gravity Destroyer to be something else , although I already know that Rocky Zurafa is Rock Giraffe .... I just mean that Hasbro changed the name of Rock Giraffe ?
