Rover
Thanks for clearing a few things up for speculation. Also a Phoenix printed face? Hell. Yes. Now if only they would add Burn to the side of the wheel... Anyways, at least they're becoming more common. Hopefully soon, I myself can grab some! Grin

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Hov - Jun. 01, 2011

Yah, forgot to mention that. x_x. At least they had a virgo printed face but still no "virgo" in it. Lmao. We're finally catching up to Adv members!

*EDIT* I did not see any Thunder Libra at the stores I visited today. I am hoping that the wave that it comes in isn't skipped in favor of the Metal Masters starters.

I picked up Thermal Lacerta, Ray "Striker", Galaxy Pegasus, Thermal Pisces, and Burn "Fireblaze". Thermal Lacerta is identical to the Takara Tomy release as far as I can tell. The "horns" of Unicorno are painted with a darker gold than my Sonokong release. CS definitely has more rubber than previous versions, as the plastic is nearly invisible from the side. Also, the stickers for Ray Unicorno are no longer metallic. Galaxy Pegasus is the same, besides the blue paint on Galaxy being slightly lighter. The R2f is not any wider or larger, as was previously speculated. What really surprised me is that the printed faces for Thermal Pisces and Burn Pheonix use the original Takara Tomy template, that is they both say Pisces and Pheonix on them. The re-release of Rock Aries also features a printed face that has the word Aries written on it, although I did not buy it. I have not weighed or otherwise tested these beys yet, so these are just my superficial observations.
HOLY CARP... I HOPE I FIND THOSE GUYS WHEN I GO TO TRU TOMORROW IN FORT WAYNE SINCE I'M IN TOWN. I really wish I find those, it'd be awesome to own them. Like you said with the CS with more rubber, GreeNxBlader had an unboxing, and he said the CS was just like a RF, which I kind of like, but I guess it won't be that good for defense combos like the TT/SK version, but I assume testing is needed to justify this.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Mac Miller - Jun. 01, 2011

I found Galaxy Pegasus,Ray Striker,Lacerta and the rereleases.
HASBRO is so cheap Galaxy chips so easily, and clear wheels get plastic scratches that are white, which u can remove whit ur nail LOL. So metal masters is officially in Florida. Quite strange how i found them at walmart!

Thanks a lot dude! Your post avoided further speculation of a thicker R2F. Looking at the quality of your post(you are awesome), I think you can provide us with further information, if possible. We would love to see some comparisons between the TT and Hasbro beys. I think that the almost invisible plastic in CS might perform a lot differently compared to TT and Sonokong CS, so, that's what I look forward to, the most.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Justaway - Jun. 01, 2011

Hasbro parts are mostly outclassed by TT and SonoKong but what Janstarblast said about CS is true..because CS is one such tip that can have either a good stamina and defence or it can have a good attack..lets see what Hasbro's CS gives us..I hope it's CS is one which attacks cuz I dont really like sharp tips

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - RustyXD - Jun. 01, 2011

Guys you should read around ... From whats been posted, Hasbro CS's are agressive out of the box and wear extremely fast.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Justaway - Jun. 01, 2011

Great..that suits my style of blading quite well..so I am defeinitely going to purchase a Hasbro Ray Unicorno

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Janstarblast - Jun. 01, 2011

Hmmm, well, does this mean that CS won't find good use in Stamina and Defense? I hope that after it wears down, it might be good...

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Jun. 01, 2011

And, again, Hasbro parts aren't outclassed by their TT/SK counterparts, they're generally better or at least heavier, other than the Burn Wheel (and I guess Earth in a stamina sense, but Hasbro's Earth is the best defensively). Their CW's are usually better due to extra weight, etc etc.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Justaway - Jun. 01, 2011

Oh..well I didnt know that...so..thatnks for clearing up my misconception about Hasbro th!nk

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Jun. 01, 2011

Isok, a lot of people make that mistake. Probably better than newbies hating on TT though lol Tongue_out
I know I'm not supposed to post this, but I couldn't find any new releases in Perth City. So much for Australia getting stuff first, all we had were older beys or legend boosters. Not even a booster Burn Fireblaze (had to get the starter). GAH! Probably good for my wallet and/or head, choosing between Ray Striker and Galaxy Pegasus, and maybe a Burn Fireblaze would've been hard.... (I needed the unmarked Burn MW for my white whale, which I think I might go paint now Grin)

But yeah, Hasbro's Gasher is as heavy as TT Bull, and Hasbro' Aquario is the heaviest CW currently (and it's an awesome CW, cos it's so even). I eagerly await Twisted Tempo. Despite the ridiculous name, as Twisted will likely be slightly heavier than Basalt, it could really make an impact (will MF Lightning L Drago BD145LRF be able to take down an even heavier BasaltBD145? Gasp )

jan, apparently it gets less aggressive quickly as the rubber wears fast, though I don't have one, so I can't guarantee that's correct.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Rover - Jun. 01, 2011

I will try and take some pictures of the new beys later today and post them in this thread. I haven't experienced the issues that Aquilla FTW has had, as the paint and plastic seem to be the same my Takara and Sonokong releases, perhaps he was unlucky and got a bey from a bad lot. I can confirm that my Hasbro CS is much more agressive than my Sonokong one when used in a BB-10. However, I have not used it enough to comment on how it wears down. I think that it is not a case of the plastic portion of the tip being smaller, but rather the rubber portion of the tip being larger (if only by a few fractions of a millimeter). Perhaps the extra rubber is Hasbro's way of preventing the part from wearing out so quickly. My prediction is that once the rubber wears a bit, it will act far more like a TT coat sharp.

Wow, Beyblade Wikia banned me XD. They didn't have any proof that those names are official. fail.

Back on topic,
Anyone saw this yet? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JweUHCxBYYo&feature=player_embedded

If not, watch it. If yes, my bad.

BeyBlaster is carp as the wind and shoot. It's like the Wind and Shoot BUT in a gun form XD

WHAT! Can I see evidence of this?

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Jun. 01, 2011

Dunno about plastic scratches, but Galaxy has always chipped easily...
Rover: I suspect he doesn't have a TT Galaxy to compare with, and is just assuming, like any n00b, that hasbro are carp.

@pegasismaster10: Which names didn't they have proof of?

And I am completely unsurprised that the beyblaster sucks. Stupid addon, again Uncertain I like that they release a load of stupid launchers, but still haven't given left spin anything more than a Light Launcher L Tongue_out

Techinically ANY metal wheel can chip unless ya coat it with something, but then again Plastic clear wheel chipping is unheard of well atleast to me. so unless he has evidence supporting this clame I call bias.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Jun. 01, 2011

he said "it's a white scratch you can remove with your nails" which doesn't actually sound like a scratch, more like stray chalk or dried milk or something.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Rover - Jun. 01, 2011

I'll add pictures to this post once they are uploaded, but I have made some significant observations now that I have compared my Hasbro and TT/SK Galaxy Pegasus and Ray Unicorno. One thing I noted is that the clear wheels differ in plastic color ever so slightly. More importantly: Hasbro's r2f does not have a "bar" to hold the rubber in place like my TT r2f. This is very odd because the rubber portion of the tip still has a groove in it. Also, the Hasbro ray is definitely a different mold than my SK Ray, with reinforced sections around the gaps. The most surprising change is to the Galaxy wheel. The sides of the wheel are significantly different, with many parts being either smoothed out or having more notches and gaps.

Here are the pictures:

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Jun. 01, 2011

Lolwat? No bar? My only Barred RF is hasbro, so I'm shocked, and disappointed, too. Uncertain
Guess I won't be buying hasbro's Galaxy Pegasus, then Uncertain
Thanks for the warning/observation. Would love pictures, especially of ray, cos I've got a few different molds of it.

I haven't check TRU yet, I might go this weekend. But guys check your Target stores too, I just went during my lunch and found most of the new releases but no boosters and no Thunder Libra. I got myself a Ray stricker and Galaxy just for the fun of it... I will have to check my other Targets and TRU to try and find Thunder Libra...

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Clonetos - Jun. 01, 2011

snagged a metal masters midnight bull and WHAT no bar?!?! um is that bad?
