Rip gauge sounds like a gimmick. Hasbro would probably wall an L/R launcher something like Dual Spin Launcher.

that galaxy pegasis actualy looks smexy.hasbro did make a good looking facebolt i cant wait for it in the us for me to get.and im expecting eiher for gravity either its a special thing thaty inclludes a bey launcher lr like the saggitario 2 pack our it just wont be a beylauncher lr but after seing that facebolt hasbro has raised my hopes of it.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - WhyD125 - May. 27, 2011

Why do people have to complain about the names so much? They either chamge it with reason, or so it sounds cooler. Striker is WAY better than Unicorno, Destroyer seems more powerful than Perseus, but I admit Twisted Tempo is actually kind of scary.

Personally, I don't like it much because Takara's names have to do with the theme. I mean, what has Striker got to do with a Unicorn? Changing from Persues to Destroyer ruins the theme. Twisted Tempo not only ruins the theme of the beys...but sounds stupid.

Takara has names based on constellations and some gods. Of course, for people who only watch the dubs and buy Hasbro beys only, they'd have no idea of this.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - May. 27, 2011

I understand that Striker would replace Unicorno as a definitive name, since a horrifying amount of kids aggressively use the title "gay" for anything less than appealing to their standards...

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - May. 27, 2011

I wanna know which type of CS hasbro is using, I'll lol if it's the aggro one. But I hope not.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - May. 27, 2011

Aggro one? Aggressive as in more rubber? And there are different CS's? Lol. Maybe he did a closeup up the CS. Maybe we can see it then.

Also Kai-V I told you that they would have printed faces! Cute

It's possibru they'll call it that.
Also WOW Galaxy Pegasus looks awesome.
You know I have NEVER really looked at the beys and stuff themselves? Just so when I see the Hasbro ones I will be amazed? Stupid thing to do ik, bur that's not the point. Wow they look just like awesomesauce. Cute

Yes, there are, the TT/SK Unicorno Starters often come with a CS where the rubber overhangs the plstic too much, meaning it moves erratically and has poor stamina. The Booster one, and the ones that come in RBV6 are generally good at staying in place, which makes them better for defence, the main use of CS.

I couldn't make it out, and it's hard to tell. I asked him in the comments if it moves much, though.

Hey, that's probably it! I never thought of it being that but it has to be that.

When I get my Galaxy Pegasus (collection) and Ray Unicorno/Striker (CS), I'll look for mold differences even though it wouldn't help. I'll still post them here just in case.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - May. 27, 2011

And it'll suck, because it'll be ripcord based. Uncertain

Hey, it would help, especially the CS movement thing.

Also if you didn't look around on his channel here's the other unboxing of Ray Striker for the lazy ones. xD
Well th!nk, I haven't ever seen the differences, but from one part in the video it appears it is overlapping a bit. I'm saying this bc it's kind of hard to see the "round" part of the bottom, and it's closer to flat.

EDIT: Sorry for double posting below. I don derp'd. Also th!nk, I was incorrect, the CS doesn't have any overlapping of rubber it seems. I think we got a good one.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Latios300000 - May. 27, 2011

kind of a let down that the angle compass is only capable with the custom grip huh and that you cant put a string launcher in the custom grip Unhappy sad but her some beys are better with the rip cord launcher some are better with the string launcher and ALL are best with the rev up in my opinion still well at least now we now the meaning of the "custom " part of this grip changing the position of the compass, having the finger rest thing or not and adding stickers Unhappy still it would be nice if you could change the rubber parts right and the normal grip has 4 parts to customize or more is you unscrew things any way whats up with that CS that the kid unboxed for ray striker ? its hardly pointed will that cause problems in battle? and hope fully hasbro will make another custom grip that will let you put the compass on the standard grip and add a string launhcer

Honestly, I can't see why Unicorno would seem less masculine then Pegasus. They're both horses...one has glowing pretty wings and the other has a shiny horn, lol.

I may see it as a needless change and something that takes away from the overall theme of MFB, but I can see where the marketing might think it'd make the beyblade "cooler" to have Striker in the name. Even though, for me when I was younger, I was attracted to the blades that either were more aesthetically pleasing or were presented as being powerful in the anime.

Ah, simpler times...

I guess they took "Once it has rested its wings somewhere, there's a good chance that it will regain its strength and return." seriously. Too seriously, like they actually believe they are waiting for Pegasus to return. Joking, joking, I think they want kids to think Pegasus is literally resting its wings somewhere.

Seriously, is there any country besides Canada which has not finished airing the first season yet ? What would it cost to just show everything in a two-hour special and finish it once and for all to finally be able to distribute the other season.

Funny you should say that! Tomorrow on YTV is a Beyblade Marathon starting at 12pm and will FINALLY air the finale!

It's the horn that makes the difference. Always has, always will.

But that horn makes it Manlier than Pegasus. Imagine a unicorn running around a battle field impaling armies with its horn. Blood gushing everywhere, bodies flying.

How is that girly?

I'd love to explain, but tl;dr, kids are immature and when they first hear of Unicorns, they immediantly think about girly toys.
You have to think like a child, not as a more mature person like the majority of us here are.
And if a young kid thinks about a unicorn runnign around stabbing everyone in the chest with the horn, then I might think they have problems. LOL.
