Let's all hope Hasbro didn't slack off on producing Beyblades when the first season ended. I bet Hasbro has hundreds maybe even a thousand boxes of Beyblades & gear waiting to be shipped but that hasn't happened because the first season of Beyblade ended.

Actually i talked to a hasbro representative and he said they shipped all metal masters last Febuary. But it's all a lie, It's May and still no Metal Masters except for the Legend Series and gear. I asked them if they shipped Galaxy Pegasis and they said they shipped that too Uncertain Talk to a hasbro representative for questions! Well if they did, we should be getting them soon.

The link that I posted before shows the original Rock Giraffe, now Zurafa. I don't like Mobile Beystadium 2 from Hasbro. The thing is coming with Galaxy Pegasis and Rock Zurafa, but with that horrid stadium. Though I thank Hasbro for finally announcing it. And it is not a recolor (Rock Zurafa) as far as I know.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - May. 21, 2011

That did not look like the real colours of Rock Giraffe though.

When I went to Toys 'R' Us recently, there were actually two employees telling a woman that yes, they had received new stock for a certain other toyline months ago and that it had been in the 'backstore' all along, but that the company stressed that they would be in trouble if they brought the new stock before a specific date.

That did not stop several toy stores from leaking the new Beyblade products a year ago, but just know that there might be some deadlines to respect in the end ... Which, unlike with TAKARA-TOMY, we are not allowed to know for no reason ...

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - TITAN - May. 21, 2011

I was on Toywiz a minute ago, and I was extremely alienated. It said Gravity Destroyer AD145 WD. And it said Ray striker D125 CS. What is the world coming to? I don't know how they'll fix up the face bolt so it isn't a unicorn, but it'll be ugly. Then, the change Perseus to Destroyer. Perseus isn't offensive or more appealing to one sex. Hasbro just has to change the name of at least 2 beys a season.

If I had a phone I would blow that line UP! Still no leads to Metal Masters beys on Google lol. And last night was a bust too when I went looking for Metal Masters beys... But some of the newer Legend beys are becoming a LOT more common. Haven't seen a Thunder Libra QUITE yet however...

You should read the last 10 pages, we already know what the newer Hasbro beyblades are called, Not only two, but a few more also have been changed.

This has always struck me as odd, I'm sure it's been said, but by knowing the release date, they'd sell way more beyblades, everyone would know when they were coming, and would have money or whatever ready. They would also be able to plan production and stocking/shipment better, because the buying patterns/practices would be far more predictable on each new release.
There's a reason TT and Nintendo and loads of other companies have previews and dates for stock, having that there allows them to work people up, so they want it more. Seems really counter-intuitive of hasbro not to, but then, I guess it's not worth the bother for a small line?

That said, considering how they can't meet supply, you think it'd be a higher priority now. That said, maybe if they do eventually have to TRY to sell them, they might give us release dates, but I doubt it, even when the popularity of plastics here fell, there wasn't any attempt by them to market them. Heck, they were never really advertised, I had to go in store, and if I was lucky, they'd bothered to order a decent G series top (Spoiler: They Never Ordered A Decent EG Top. EVER). I don't think we even got much of the V-series, either. Uncertain

I also don't really get why they only release a bey after it appears in the anime? Maybe releasing a small run of them before the anime as a kind of "teaser" release or a surprise, so kids are like "OOH WHAT TOP IS THAT I HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN IT OOOH WOW". Or something.

... I sometimes think I should do marketing after I'm done my psych degree. Though even with a psych degree, I doubt I'd ever be able to understand the decision to rename Basalt Horogium to "Twisted Tempo".

They're just lying. There is no specific date for new stock as Hasbro doesn't have release dates. They give a relative time to put in new stock. Which ends up being 1-2 months later because stores are lazy. They have to get rid of their old stock sitting in the back first, and once all that is gone, they get lazy and slowly put new stock in. By lazy I mean 10 products per week on shelves.

Have you ever worked in a store, or even served customers? Believe me, when you're on the other side of the counter, it's a helluva lot harder than you'd think, and people automatically assuming you're lazy/dumb/useless/evil/like upsetting children gets really, really annoying.

Firstly, there's absolutely no reason to lie about that, as it would lead to "Oh Plz can I have one early", whereas saying "we're out of stock" would prevent that, even if they did have the stock. What would they gain from saying that?

Also, it's not laziness, you have to sell old stock so you don't have excess stock left over, outdated lines, stuff only sells while it's being advertised. Stores pay for stock, and if they don't sell it, they make a loss. There is a specific date when Hasbro would begin shipping new lines, there is a Date it is "Released", but as Hasbro don't publish it anywhere, stores likely don't know when they have a new release on their hands, and beyblades all look pretty similar if you don't know them well.

They also have to efficiently manage the space in the store, they can't have a huge wall of beyblades, they need space for other stuff as well, so they have to fill the beyblades as they empty, from the back stock, into whatever space they can allocate.

It's also possible they may not receive new releases from the distribution centre everything goes through before it gets to stores, some stores do, but if stock is too limited, some stores will miss out.

Iceburn

I cant believe I just saw these now XD

Im not as Disappointed some of the names or not even Close to the Originals though.

Like Cancer and Gasher. Sort of easy. Horogium/Tempo. Wow.

It will be Confusing naming the Parts IMO.

Zurafa. Really. Hasbro quite a bit of a Let down but meh. Hasbro at least you released the Beys.

Are all the Beys going to be in Stores at Once? Or will it be Galaxy Peg, Thermal Lacerta, Ray Striker. Then blah blah blah. In different Sets.

Its probably been Posted before but I dont wanna dig through 9 Pages of Info.

Here in Portugal we're getting new stock .
Double packs , legend series ... but no grips or Beylaunchers !
I really need a grip ...

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - May. 22, 2011

I went to a more updated Walmart today. They apparently JUST got some new stock in, or very recently. I got me a couple of Legend MM beys, Counter Leone and Inferno Saggitario. When I saw them I got so excited because with these out, that means next time they get a shipment in, they'll most likely have beys like Striker, Pegasus, and Lancerta. I hate though that every time I go into a store that carries beys, and see white packages, I get all excited and stuff, but all the time they're stupid Hex Bugs or whatever the carp they're called >.<

I don't know what you guys think, but I can't wait for Metal Masters. The Italian thread has a link to a bunch of stuff. They are actually going to hold a tournament series. I just hope they let us use yet to be released beys at them. And then they have that 3 pack. Apparently, the stadium is customizable with cores. Can't wait to see what they have planned for tthat!

gravity perseus is now gravity destroyer
rock giraffe is now rok zurafa
grand ketos is now grand cetus
tornado hurculeo is now cyclone hurculeo

Fix'd that for you.

Titan Blader, all of the three included cores have raised or indented sections on them, and therefore are going to suck. The pattern changes for each, but yeah. Also, the gap between the core and stadium will interfere as well, just to top it all off. YAY
They seem intent on doing that with stadiums now, first Firestrike, now the new(ish) Ldrago one... And just when we thought they were improving Uncertain

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Sasodo - May. 23, 2011

I am okay with some of the name changes except the fact that they changed the name for both the metal wheel and clear wheel of Basalt Horogium, that I WILL NOT STAND FOR, But I will not hold it against them because hasbro only OF COURSE focuses this brand for LITTLE KIDS and NOT for teens and adults. I like the name change for Girrafe and I guess (grits teeth) Unicorno, but Destoryer and Cetus?; REALLY HASBRO REALLY. I'm still phsyced though.
