Lr launcher problems - Hostileblade33 - Apr. 26, 2018

So I’ve been having this nice LR launcher,And guess what happen’s next after only a couple of months? The gears start to grind!! Is there anybody or any place that has special gears for launcher, if not, Can it be fixed somehow?

Unfortunately you'll need to buy a new one

open it up and make sure the pull path is clear and the gears are aligned

If buying a replacement is the only option. Wait. Just wait until the Super Z/ Cho Z updated lr string launcher. It will hopefully have improved internals and will be cheaper then buying the god lr string launcher

If you can, take out the prong part and change the white part

What's a good indication that there's a gear-grinding problem? I know I was having some trouble with a Hasbro Garuda G3 combo with my B-88 (which I guess seemed grind-ish in nature?), but I chalked it up to the bey not being on straight from how I was setting up. It's seemed fine otherwise, but I honestly haven't played with it that much since and this topic made me curious.

I mean, is it something you can tell without a bey being on the launcher?

Not sure if this is the right answer but Kevo had posted this a while ago. Quoting the post
Quote:Yup, the LR string launcher will get stuck when used in right spin, and more often when used with the heavier chozetsu beys. You can unscrew it and fix it without resetting the spring, or just switch the launcher from left to right (move the lever) back and forth and the string will fix itself.

Hope this helps!

Yu can tell by a specific sound and/or your bey’s not coming off the launcher

Actually... I don’t have any chizetzu beys, only god beys and below. But I will try it

How do you do this?  Is there a special tool to take off the prong circle to get at the white bits underneath?  And where do you get the parts to change the white part (what part are you referring to?)

The prong part’s inner grooves also wear or bend outward, so in some cases, the nubs on the white part may start to slip again even if the white 8 shape part is replaced.  It may help to bend back inward the outer prong part after immersing in hot water and/or bending the white part after immersing in hot water, so that the 2 nubs sticks out more, to catch the grooves tighter.
