Custom Launcher legality? - K1D - Apr. 14, 2018

I own a few burst light launcher LRs and what wondering if I could mix and match the parts of the outer shell? The gear is the same on all the LR launchers, so there'd be no improvement gear wise.

If you customize launchers by unscrewing them or taking them apart it would be tournament illegal

Yes, as long as no internal gear modifications are made and nothing changes performance-wise, you can do shell swaps.

Yaaaayyyy, I don't think I can change performance, Since all LR ripcord launchers use the same gears

Sorry, I thought taking anything apart would be illegal because someone might mod the launcher

This is why we perform random checks at events to see if the launcher wind count is accurate.

Old school is just telling the truth and doing what he should do as a contributor. You can't do anything better if you were him because you have to obey the rules of the WBO
