In regards to Burst Tournaments... - BladerGem - Mar. 28, 2018

Are Super Z/Chouzetsu allowed in Burst format tournaments? I would think they wouldn't be, considering limited availability and not having been released by Hasbro yet.

I just wanted to clarify so I know what I'll be up against in the near future when I go to tournaments. Is it just Burst/Dual Layer/God? Or is Super Z/Chouzetsu included?

Chou zetsu is included because it is in the Burst system and availability is not exactly limited

Yes, Super Z are allowed, just not in the Hasbro format (since only Hasbro is allowed in those). Super Z are open to buy for anyone reasonably.

The only thing you need to be worried about is if anyone is using the new disc 12 without a frame. Until ruling comes out on that, you need to look out for yourself, since the part has been damaging other beys. (Though it may be due to the taller drivers brought by Super Z.) Anyone informed wouldn't use it on purpose unless they were a jerk though.
