I've seen some youtube tutorials on how to dye beyblades, I was wondering if dyeing beyblades makes them illegal for tournament use.

yes it would, becuase you could argue that after dying your plastic layer it could have altered the integrity of the plastic either making it harder or more fragile,
plus how can you prove that your bey isnt a fake if it doesnt have any colors from an official release
