My friend said that there is gonna be a worldwide tournament either the end of this year or next year.If this is true it would awesome but I don't want to give myself fake hype ya know?

Yes, hasbro announced a world beyblade championship in Paris in November later this year. There will be regionally held national tournaments in countries all around the world. (There might be a few in the US but they're still finalizing the info before hasbro officially tells us the first American national tournaments location & date) and if you win a national tournament they will fly you out to Paris to participate

Another thing to note, only kids ages 8-13 can participate in the world tournament.
