Hello to who ever is reading this I has a left spin string launcher from the burst series and I have recently broke it ::( I had fixed it a bit and now it's usable but the string doesn't fully retract! Does anyone have any tips to fix it?

It sounds like you haven't fully rewound the spring. Watch this video by akirasdaddy; he shows you how to rewind the spring at 4:10.
