Different combinations may alter Doomscizor's performance but having a losing record in this testing with 96% of the losses due to burst finishes doesn’t look too good for this energy layer.

I noticed the same thing when using doomscizor. Its just too easily bursted. Although I am tempted to do some tests with either extreme or variable to see if it does have any burst attack qualities, but having only 1 of each, and I've used both a fair bit, I don't really want to wear either of them down too much at this point. I'll be trying to get another V2 within the next week which will allow me to test variable less reluctantly, but it will probably be a little while before I come across another Xcalius/R2 dual pack to be able to freely test xtreme.
