So it indeed does nothing to increase the strength of the launch or anything, but I do not know why it took us this long to figure out why this accessory exists and what it does hah: as the following video shows, you need to squeeze and use a significant amount of force to hold the trigger toward the handle of the Launcher Grip, and that force exerted unconsciously makes your forearm also flex. This, added with your usual effort to straighten your whole arm for launch stability, results in an increased overall balance and stability.
