Lego Beyblade: BEYBLADE CRASH! - EclipticShadow - Sep. 03, 2016 So, after Burst came out in Japan I wanted to make a Lego version of it. Well, after I saw someone beat me to the punch on this forum, I decided to make it into a new "series" and make building the bey a bit more complicated! Thus, BEYBLADE CRASH! was born. [Image: nW89N] My logo for it. BEYBLADE CRASH! is a four piece top system (like the original gen) but is heavily based on Burst and some MFB. It's parts are the Bit Screw (like the Face Bolt), the Fusion Disk (Burst Layer), Stability Disk (Weight Disk & Disk from Originals and Burst, respectively), and the Spin Driver (Burst Driver). Here is a drawing of my currently existing CRASH! Beyblade, "DARK PHEONYX S:T":[Image: o3IxM] And here's the real thing: [Image: uw9bO] To assemble the beyblade, you combine the Bit Screw, Stability Disk, and Spin Driver first, so it looks like this: [Image: O81hm] With the circle parts on the Stability Disk, you insert the Bit Screw Stability Disk Spin Driver combo under the Fusion Disk to create the Bey. [Image: to716] The bey that I showed you was a Balance type. The only really mentionable part here is the Spin Driver: Temper. Temper, when launched straight, acts like a stamina type, but if you tip it over to an angle, the wide disk of Temper causes the Beyblade to go into attack mode. This makes the bey circle the stadium at a reasonable speed, and can cause some good damage to your opponent. Well, this is my first fan-made series, if I could have criticism, I would appreciate it! EDIT: Imgur is being terrible to me right now. RE: Lego Beyblade: BEYBLADE CRASH! - Classik - Sep. 05, 2016 Do you have any pictures? RE: Lego Beyblade: BEYBLADE CRASH! - Real_ilinnuc - Sep. 05, 2016 How do you launch them? RE: Lego Beyblade: BEYBLADE CRASH! - Brisk AquarioHD - Sep. 05, 2016 Your images are not showing? Keep it up! I hope you can make other Lego customizations. RE: Lego Beyblade: BEYBLADE CRASH! - MissingNo. - Sep. 05, 2016 I am really not good to make actual spinning tops in lego, however, I made this ugly launcher that can give a pretty decent power (7 and 1/4 rotations, pretty much the same as the Burst BeyLauncher, except that my launcher is far more consistent, and probably smoother, like the Orange Light Launcher.) [Image: hoUEHZHl.jpg] [Image: LXUOOSMl.jpg] [Image: QhRAtFbl.jpg] [Image: xouP1iQl.jpg] The only weak point it has is in the teeth of the winder, before each launch you must press on each brick to make sure they're aligned, otherwise it won't be as smooth (still usable, though.) Of course, the handle of the winder and the prong system are not completed yet, but performance-wise, I am really satisfied with the result. RE: Lego Beyblade: BEYBLADE CRASH! - Brisk AquarioHD - Sep. 05, 2016 ^ Ahhhh, I'm in love!!! Love it! Haha the ripcord actually looks really cool! RE: Lego Beyblade: BEYBLADE CRASH! - MissingNo. - Sep. 05, 2016 Thanks ! I could potentially make the winder even longer (thus making it more powerful, obviously), but it seems like I've lost all the other ''teeth bricks'' I had left, haha. RE: Lego Beyblade: BEYBLADE CRASH! - Brisk AquarioHD - Sep. 05, 2016 Np! And ah, well, either way, it's still cool! xD RE: Lego Beyblade: BEYBLADE CRASH! - Classik - Sep. 07, 2016 (Sep. 05, 2016 9:42 PM)MissingNo. Wrote: I am really not good to make actual spinning tops in lego, however, I made this ugly launcher that can give a pretty decent power (7 and 1/4 rotations, pretty much the same as the Burst BeyLauncher, except that my launcher is far more consistent, and probably smoother, like the Orange Light Launcher.)I havent seen a lego launcher like this in forever. Makes me want to make some beys again. RE: Lego Beyblade: BEYBLADE CRASH! - KnightPro - Sep. 07, 2016 i remember making a Bearing drive for my lego blade i may get back into making some again RE: Lego Beyblade: BEYBLADE CRASH! - MissingNo. - Sep. 07, 2016 Well, it's quite easy to make a free spinning tip using this part, however, it does not spin that freely at all. The best way would be to use an axis, but it would take way too much space. Anyway, if you guys have any design that won't explode nor barely spin because they're too light, hook me up. RE: Lego Beyblade: BEYBLADE CRASH! - KnightPro - Sep. 07, 2016 What kind of sets are recommended? i had some bad ones that created weak lego beyblades RE: Lego Beyblade: BEYBLADE CRASH! - MissingNo. - Sep. 08, 2016 I really don't know, as I've said previously I am really not good at making beyblades in lego. You can get a decent spin time if you're using a Ninjago Spinner as a base, though. RE: Lego Beyblade: BEYBLADE CRASH! - EclipticShadow - Sep. 10, 2016 OK, I am back on WBO after some time (high school '-.-), and I see I have a few questions! 1. Yes, they could launch (provided I replace the top part of the "Bit Screw" with stud parts), but I have to find the right parts, as I don't have a lot of them. (I usually just make a string launcher with duct tape and dental floss ). 2. Since I don't have that much Lego, I have only created 2 working beys and an attack "Fusion Disk." I'll post the second bey soon, along with it's parts. |
