btw, I have a question. My CWD is pretty beat up. I know Takara > Hasbro, but if I used a Hasbro CWD, would that be better than a broken Takara version? What if I continued to use the metal part from my Japanese one? Thanks for replying.

There would be no noticeable difference.

I suggest using Dragoon MS's RC. I am not sure how Phantom Fox's WD performs, but I think using a Circle Wide would be better.
