Burst and Metal series - Jacob3920 - Aug. 09, 2015

I'm actually very dissapointed that they are ending the metal series. Burst seems cool and may be a bit better because of how no damage can really be done to the Beyblades (by damage I mean no physical damage such as cracked plastic, etc...). I'm just mainly concerned about this bursting concept. Pieces can be easily lost when they burst and they could also fly out of the stadium and hit people or things. It would be cool if they could continue selling the metal series and creating new pieces/beys for it (as in have a separate design team/person) without an anime/story. If the metal series beys were just sold in store/online with no anime/story they could still focus on burst while letting the metal fans use what they prefer. In the end it would make them more money anyway as the metal series fans/collectors would buy the beys they prefer instead of burst.

Is this why i can't find any metal series beyblades at all my local toy stores?

Yep pretty much. Uncertain

That really sucks. I love the Metal Series. I haven't been into beyblade in years (last time i even battled was in 2011 and donated my collection to charity in 2012) and then i come back to see that the only way to obtain any of the beyblades i used to have back then is online and generally for a fortune if you want them new. Toys R Us used to be the one stop shop for Bladers and now there isn't a beyblade to be found in the entire store.

RE: Burst and Metal series - Kai-V - Aug. 09, 2015

They introduced a new series because there was no money to be made anymore with Metal Fight Beyblade, just like what happened with HMS in 2005. Unfortunately, even if you are still interested in Metal Fight Beyblade, the global interest was not present anymore.
