Prop makers unite! Form of: Weaponry! - theflightyellz - Dec. 04, 2009 Has anyone here made their own prop weaponry? Could have been for a halloween costume, a cosplay, or maybe even you do it on commission? From swords to guns, from shields to helmets, futuristic or fantasy, post your pics here! RE: Prop makers unite! Form of: Weaponry! - Starwulfen - Dec. 05, 2009 I've made swords for cosplay This: [Image: DSCF2250.jpg] Ignore the armour, it's rather bad And this one: [Image: DSCF2999.jpg] I never actually got a picture of the costume, so the swords in my brother's hands here RE: Prop makers unite! Form of: Weaponry! - theflightyellz - Dec. 08, 2009 Currently working on a steampunk style modification for my old GCon lightgun. I'll post some in progress pictures later. RE: Prop makers unite! Form of: Weaponry! - theflightyellz - Dec. 08, 2009 Still got a good way to go, but this is it so far: [Image: picture1ja.png] [Image: picture2mc.png] Also working on an energy capsule kinda thing for it: [Image: picture3js.png] [Image: picture4zm.png] I'll be putting a set of brackets on the side of the gun over the sanded down Capcom logo, so one of those tubes can be slid on to it, with a connector going to that small rounded kinda detail on the gun that looks like a small turbine. The liquid is sealed in to the tube with a hot glue gun, and is also slightly metallic when put under light. I found an article on scientists recreating ball lightning using some kind of high-voltage capacitor in a tank of water, so I wanted to try and recreate something that might be able to recreate that, and harness the ability to shoot ball lightning >< RE: Prop makers unite!
