Illegal Beyblades in Tournaments - JamieBerardi - Oct. 14, 2014

Is there a list somewhere of all the Beyblades that are illegal to use in tournaments? I remember when I attended a few Beyblade tournaments as a kid they only let us use Hasbro Beyblades. Also, in tournaments are you able to use older Beyblades or just the current/newer models?

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks! Smile

Hello, and welcome to the World Beyblade Organization.

The general rule is that all real Beyblades are official, so that includes TAKARA-TOMY, Hasbro, SonoKong, Mani Ltd., etc. Anything fake is prohibited.

We do however have a format to sort of go back to the basics in Metal Fight Beyblade where several parts are banned. You can find the list of banned pieces in our Organized Play Rulebook :

Otherwise, for the plastics and HMS formats, the few banned parts are also written in the Rulebook.
