Flame Pegasus - Poseidon - Aug. 14, 2014 I think a piece of me died inside writing this up. Stupid Bey. Bit chip: Unlike other plastic models Flame Pegasus was released with 3 Bit Chips, a normal, Hole and Spike version. The Spike variant enables the Beyblade to spin upside down, using said spike as a tip. The Hole variant allows the Beyblade to be spun on a rip cord. Both of these bit chips are considered gimmicks and should never be used in a competitive situation. AR ring: Wing Upper: In right spin the Attack Rings short slopes allows some degree of Upper Attack. However, unlike the longer slopes of Upper Dragoon, Wing Upper's aforementioned short slopes decrease its ability to lift the opposing Beyblade as effectively. Additionally, many other Attack Rings have increased Upper Attack abilities. When used in Left Spin, Wing Upper supplies a small amount of Force Smash; again however many other Attack Rings outclass its Force Smash abilities. Wing Upper lacks both the required weight and weight distribution need to effectively use Force Smash. Despite this, Wing Upper lends itself well to certain zombie customizations, due to its centralised weight and minimal recoil. Wing Upper is a decent alternative to other harder to obtain ARs such as Twin Horn. Use in a Compacts Customisation: AR: Wing Upper WD: 10 Heavy SG: Neo Right HMC BB: Metal Change Base Use in Zombie Customisation: AR: Wing Upper WD': Wide Survivor SG: Left SG Bearing Version BB: Wolborg 2 AR: Wing Upper WD': Wide Survivor SG: Right EG Circle Survivor (Wolborg 4) BB: Normal Base (Wolborg 4 Version) Use in Upper Attack Custom: This custom can be used to some degree of upper attack. AR: Wing Upper (Flame Pegasus G) WD: Wide Defence SG: Right SG (Bearing Version) (Wolborg) SP: Defence Ring (Voltaic Ape) BB: Customize Grip Base (Dragoon V2) Engine Gear (EG): Gyro Engine Gear The Engine Gear when combined with the Engine Stopper allows the Beyblade to spin without a launcher. This gimmick feature has no real use. The engine itself is the longest lasting. The tip has little friction complementing stamina combos. In conjunction with the BB Engine Stopper, the EG allows the Bey to be spun without a launcher, only a Ripcord needs to be inserted into the designated area(s) in the Engine Stopper- a feature unique to Flame Pegasus. The tip is a small, metal sharp tip, as such can easily be caught off balance. In a competitive situation, this gimmick piece has no use, and should never to be played. Gyro Engine Gear may only be used with its own base, Engine stopper. Ruling: Gyro Engine Gear is, as its name implies, an Engine Gear- as such it should be treated as one. Prior to countdown, the Engine Gear must be released and prepared on a launcher. In official play, the Engine Gear and Base cannot be launched by its own gimmick and must be used in unison with each other. Blade Base (BB): Engine Stopper Unique to Flame Pegasus, Engine Stopper (although an officially declared illegal with WBO rulings) is the only Beyblade the designers had intended for multi directional spin. A Ripcord can be placed in one of two slots to start the engine gear .The EG only allows a Right-Spin Launcher, hence it can only be launched clockwise- the Engine Gear may be spun any direction- although its use in any competitive situation is not advised. Engine Stopper also has two small slopes, intended for upper attack synergy with Wing Upper, the effect of this is negligible however, as the two sets of slopes are not aligned and the EG supplies no attack power being a sharp tip. Other Versions: Random Booster Act 12 Thunder Pegasus (Purple, Alternative Stickers) Conclusion. Despite the rest of the Beyblade being essentially useless, Wing Upper has minor uses in an Upper Attack Customisation and provides itself as a decent alternative in both Zombie and Compact Customisations. Therefore, this Beyblade should only be obtained if a preferred alternative cannot be purchased, or for collection purposes. RE: Flame Pegasus - Ultra - Aug. 14, 2014 I'm sure that th!nk found the AR has use in zombie combos and other stamina types such as Wolborg 4 combos. RE: Flame Pegasus - Poseidon - Aug. 14, 2014 Any use that warrants a purchase? I'll mention it regardless. RE: Flame Pegasus - DRAGON KING - Aug. 14, 2014 There's "Note," at the bottom. Not sure why it's there... Perhaps work on the capitalization throughout the article? RE: Flame Pegasus - Dual - Aug. 14, 2014 In the second paragraph of the EG section, "as such" is used twice close together, sounding a bit redundant. RE: Flame Pegasus - Poseidon - Aug. 14, 2014 I've done the capitalization and the changes. I can't find anything on it being used in a zombie customization? RE: Flame Pegasus - DRAGON KING - Aug. 14, 2014 Not all of them. I'll do it for you. Along with some other things to make it look less messy(bolded) (Aug. 14, 2014 9:44 PM)Poseidon Wrote: I think a piece of me died inside writing this up. Stupid Bey.i didn't make the last part bold because I fixed anything, the final conclusion just should be bold like I made it and the "Use in Upper Attack" part should be bold too. RE: Flame Pegasus - Poseidon - Aug. 14, 2014 Think I've done it all, cheers. RE: Flame Pegasus - Byerg - Aug. 14, 2014 (Aug. 14, 2014 9:44 PM)Poseidon Wrote: Blade Base (BB): Engine Stopper Only a minor capitalization issue to point out. RE: Flame Pegasus - Ultra - Aug. 14, 2014 Ahem: http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Flame-Pegasus-A-109-Now-with-pictures th!nk mentions it here. Also sorry but this one is better than yours. You should've looked before starting another draft. Also why did everyone comment on this but no one bother to comment on mine when I asked for opinions? RE: Flame Pegasus - Jinbee - Aug. 14, 2014 Gee wonder why... OK but seriously maybe it's because this one needs a little more correcting? I'm not sure but that could be it. If it needs more correcting then I guess people just suggest more. RE: Flame Pegasus - Ultra - Aug. 14, 2014 Please tell more you're kidding... No it is not because it needs correcting. There are tons of uses listed in that one that Poseidon's doesn't have. RE: Flame Pegasus - Jinbee - Aug. 14, 2014 (Aug. 14, 2014 10:58 PM)Ultra Wrote: Please tell more you're kidding... Uh...OK then...all I said was "maybe"...I did say I wasn't sure so I wasn't 100% on Also is that suppose to be "Please to more your kidding" or is it "me", just confused is all. RE: Flame Pegasus - Poseidon - Aug. 14, 2014 So just shut this, or change this one with all the uses ect. It shouldn't take too long. RE: Flame Pegasus - Poseidon - Aug. 15, 2014 Sorry for the double post, but regardless of what's going to happen I've wrote the rest of it up. RE: Flame Pegasus - Ultra - Aug. 15, 2014 I think it makes more sense to close this and continue with the other one. RE: Flame Pegasus - Poseidon - Aug. 15, 2014 I dunno if it's me being bias, but I'm not seeing too much of a difference between the two. RE: Flame Pegasus - Ultra - Aug. 15, 2014 His is better. It is more detailed and better worded. Also you've said nothing about the Customisable engine weight whereas he has and even has a combo for it. Also no maybe you wouldn't now after you copied all the combos... RE: Flame Pegasus - Poseidon - Aug. 15, 2014 It's for the wiki not my personal use. Copied all the combos, honestly. You were the one who told me it had uses as a zombie! You are acting as though I've stole something, all I was trying to do is make my article better- something that would more people potentially in turn..I'll just change them for mediocre combos for everyone to use then, shall I? Also, if you're going to pick off what mine doesn't have the aforementioned article doesn't have the rulings and is slightly opinionated. You'll probably bombard them with negativity like you did to Poseidon in this thread already. And partly because this draft had a lot more simple edits to correct. Feel free to post what you think should be added into Benjohadi's article to what's already (if not) missing, Poseidon. |
