ANY grip with Rev-Up setup, straight rip?!? - OldSchool™ - Aug. 05, 2014 Been slowly going crazy the past few days. I know you can have the string launcher attached so you can get a straight rip, is it possible using a Rev-Up launcher somehow? With any other type of grip or add-ons/mass customization? RE: Launcher grip with Rev-Up setup, straight rip?!? - Neo - Aug. 05, 2014 Sadly, no. I believe it's illegal in tournaments? RE: Launcher grip with Rev-Up setup, straight rip?!? - FeedFear - Aug. 05, 2014 The rev up launcher was banned due to inconsistency in launching beys, for examples watch any bey geeks video where rev ups are used. In many videos the rev takes longer for one than the other by a large margin RE: Launcher grip with Rev-Up setup, straight rip?!? - OldSchool™ - Aug. 05, 2014 (Aug. 05, 2014 5:52 AM)Neo Wrote: Sadly, no. RE: Launcher grip with Rev-Up setup, straight rip?!? - Neo - Aug. 05, 2014 How could it be legal in Plastics and HMS.. It's not even made for the system. Posting the obvious. Boosting post count? lol *In reply to Pyro-Shotty's post below this, sorry for being a hypocrite : P RE: Launcher grip with Rev-Up setup, straight rip?!? - FeedFear - Aug. 05, 2014 The post has to actually contain something useful. Just posting a bunch won't help. And you continuing to post makes it hypocritical. No, that's not what I meant. I misinterpreted the link and thought Plastics and HMS were separate. Sorry. No need to get mean ![]() I'm pretty sure it's unreliable for you anyways. The launcher tends to not work sometimes and can ruin the match or matches, depending on if you all go @ once. Seeing as you have a BeyLauncher, stick to it. RE: ANY grip with Rev-Up setup, straight rip?!? - LMAO - Aug. 05, 2014 This could easily have been asked in the Ask a Question, Get an Answer thread, no need to make a new thread for this ![]() RE: ANY grip with Rev-Up setup, straight rip?!? - OldSchool™ - Aug. 05, 2014 (Aug. 05, 2014 6:53 AM)Neo Wrote: (I wouldn't care if I had post count decreased TBH.) Actually, the Rev-Up launcher is reliable, as long as you make sure the three gear teeth catch before the countdown begins. Also, with practice, you can get the bey to launch at different specific rpm's consistently ie fast/med/slow. I don't get why so many people say the Rev-Up launcher is unreliable. You just need to learn the correct launching procedure. Practice = ) (Aug. 05, 2014 6:58 AM)LMAO Wrote: This could easily have been asked in the Ask a Question, Get an Answer thread, no need to make a new thread for this My bad. Will do the next time. It's like using Gyro Gear. Not the best choice. You must have a bad launcher. I'm having no issues at all with launching ![]() But I digress. Truly there is no way to straight rip? = ( |
