Brave Frontier Discussion - Neo - Jul. 09, 2014
Found this spiffy little iOS/Android RPG called Brave Frontier.
The game is basically about summoning "Units" who are in your up to 5 member Squad. You basically tap a series of menus to get to a level in "Quest". There, you tap the Unit's Icon bar which attacks whatever target you've selected. There's about 5+ battles in every level and a boss at the end. You don't actually level by using Units in battle; rather you acquire enemies as units. You can then fuse the acquired units into the main unit you want on your squad, which levels them up. After reaching max level, and getting the required units, you can evolve units. Example: Vargas, you max his level and acquire a Fire Mage Unit, and then for a fee, you get Burning Vargas, a more powerful version of the guy. However, he takes more Squad cost up. Yes, there's a limit of your squad's capacity. If your limit is 12, and you put Eze in the squad, his cost is 2 so you have 10 points left. Most "Rare Summons"; Obtained by paying 5 Gems (After beating a whole stage or given daily) and getting a random powerful character of 4 or more stars, (stars determine how useful a character is; 3+ is good 1-2 you should fuse into a 3+ star character) actually these guys take 8-12 squad points.
You can actually give a Leadership to one of the units in your squad. I use Michele (Best Character EVER) as my main Leader, her skill being when 5/6 Elements are in your squad, you get a 25% power boost for all Units.

I'm absolutely into to this game. I see the new update has gave us more of a chance of getting Gems. Really hate downtime, hah.
My squad is strong right now. Just wish I had a few more strong units though.
I use Bruisers God Gallent or something as my leader. I'm currently building ice Seirin at the moment.
Oh yeah, finding th Idols you need for evolutions ar sohrd, ah.

I got bored of the game after playing it for about a month or so...-.-' I really liked the game at first but got bored of it after awhile, maybe it's because I'm not really into games, especially ones without story plots...*sulks* I've downloaded and deleted a lot of games on my device...hardly even play them now but I still remember owning Michelle as my team leader. The other units on my team sucks big time though I aim on a full dark type team at that time, lol.

The gameplay is like a simple Action RPG that's turn based.
I do wish the story was easier to understand.

The story is basically too complex...gameplay is way more fun.

I also skip the talking. I agree though, gameplay is more fun. I love it when you let all units Brave Burst at the same time!

LOL, I always save that for the last just to defeat the strongest one in the level in one try. 75% chance of succeeding because of my noob team though, LOL (Why did I type LOL twice, wait, it's thrice now...)
