Spiral Blitz 2-Pack - Elite Projects - Jul. 02, 2014
Face:Pisces
The Face depicts Pisces, the twelfth astrological sign of the Zodiac. Although this bey was not featured in the HMS series, it has a Pre-HMS design on the facebolt. The shark is black with a red outline. The "tail" slightly curves around to the face of the shark, forming a circle.
Clear Wheel:Pisces
Pisces was first released in a translucent midnight blue colour. Pisces depicts two sharks circling clockwise around each other with the head, dorsal fin, and tail of each shark breaking through a series of waves. This Clear Wheel is best combined with Screw, as its shape and slopes allow proper space to enhance Screw's own slopes and it does not get in its way for attacks, maximizing the contact areas.
An unique feature of the energy ring is the "fence" that seems to be circling the facebolt. This "fence" could possibly defend against attacks from above, but for the present this has not been proven.
Fusion Wheel:Killer(Evil)
This fusion wheel is slightly thinner than the one on Evil Gemios; As a result, it has less attack and is too thin to provide sufficient defense.
The wheel was originally called "Killer" but to avoid offense, it was changed to "Evil".
Like its Metal System predecessor Gemios, Killer has a textured, bumpy, two-winged design that ends in two rounded edges. However, unlike its predecessor, it is considerably thinner even with a smaller amount of metal dropping below the base of the Wheel. Being so thin, the edges of each wing do not apply as much force as those of the Gemios Metal Wheel.
Though it may seem suited for Stamina, it performs poorly compared to other top-tier Stamina Wheels such as Virgo, Burn, and Earth.
Spintrack:ED145
ED145 features three “wings†which rotate around the Track freely. The wings are similar to that of WD145. Because of their free-spinning nature, they can be used in Defense customisations, such as MF-H Basalt Bull ED145RS; however, the defensive capabilities of this part are not as effective as GB145, TH170, or BD145, as it does not absorb hits as successfully. The wings which rotate are hindered without the mechanism of a bearing, hence creating a force of friction between the wings and the body of the Track, in turn resulting in less significant damage absorption. Furthermore, it is easy for the low attacker’s Wheel to be caught between the Wheel and ED145, causing a lot of recoil and spin reduction to the Defense customization.
Performance Tip:Wide Defense(WD)
Wide Defense, as its name implies is one of the widest of the "Defense" series of Bottoms (D, SD, WD, PD, EWD). This brings numerous advantages, but also some disadvantages when compared to the other "Defense" Bottoms, specifically D. The advantages include its ability for abnormally long precession times due to its massive width that reaches the edge of the Bottom's perimeter. This allows it to wobble at a significantly larger angle for a longer period of time than D, and at a much lower spin rate. However, depending on the position of the Beyblade using WD and the spin rate of the opponent, this can be disadvantageous because of how easy it becomes to knock over the precessing WD custom. This low spin rate towards the end of the battle is created because in the process of wobbling at such a large angle, more friction is made with the stadium floor, thus decreasing its Stamina. Nevertheless, this more often an advantage than it is a disadvantage.
Newer parts such as CS, EDS and B:D have overshadowed WD to some degree: CS and EDS due to their ability to be paired with the popular BD145 Track without scraping, and B:D because of its height and even longer precession times, but WD is still one of the best pure Stamina Bottoms available. However, when selecting high Tracks such as TH170 and 230, WD's tendency to wobble at larger angles should be kept in mind, as its extreme precession can often become problematic.
Although the name suggests Defensive characteristics, WD does not possess any inherent defensive qualities. However, its proficiency can be increased significantly when facing left-spin Attackers through the utilization of the Weak Shooting technique.

Face: Virgo
The Face depicts Virgo, the sixth astrological sign of the Zodiac.
Clear Wheel: Virgo
Virgo was first released in a translucent yellow tint. Virgo has a smooth, easily flowing design to emulate a woman's hair, and features a small notch on both sides.

Earth has four thick, textured wings surrounding its perimeter, with each pair facing each other on a slight incline. The space created between the wings is quite small, and the resulting effect is similar to any Wheel that has no spaces: minimal recoil. Though it is on the lighter side of Metal Wheels, its almost unperturbed circular design, and minimal recoil made it one of the best, Defense-oriented Wheel available for competitive play. However, it has since been severely outclassed by the extremely heavy 4D Metal Wheels and Zero-G Chrome Wheels paired in Synchrom, such as Duo, Wyvang and Balro.
Track: Gravity Ball 145
GB145 is a wide, round track featuring two free moving metal balls. These balls move toward the outside of the Track while spinning, causing additional spin retaining force, similar to Draciel Metal Ball Defenser's Metal Ball Base from the plastic generation. Weighing in at 4.5 grams due to the metal balls, GB145 is relatively heavy but it cannot hold its own compared to subsequent parts. At release, it was seen by some as inferior to C145 due to the lack of energy-absorbing free spinning wings, making it not as effective as against low attackers such as Quetzalcoatl 90RF, which were popular at the time. GB145 used to shine when utilized in Defense customizations against high CH120-based Attackers, such as MF Lightning L Drago CH120RF. These types of Attackers do not aim to hit the Track, and thus the free spinning wings of C145 are not necessary, and you instead get a significant increase in the overall weight of the customization. However, it has been outclassed for Defense customizations by BD145, E230 and TH170.
This Track has found use in the Attack field as a replacement for S130.
Name Changes
Hasbro renamed Takara-Tomy's Gravity Bowl to Gravity Ball.
Bottom: Ball Sharp
BS offers very little movement and provides no Attack potential. The pointed tip allows for very little friction between the Bottom and the stadium surface, which helps prevent the loss of spin velocity. BS has decent Stamina, but it experiences the balance issues that the S series bottoms share because its tip is so fine. D, WD and SD are better choices.
IMPORTANT: Mold Variations
Earth has two different molds. The first mold was released in BB-47 Starter Earth Aquila 145WD, and the second in both the purple WBBA "Event Special" MF Earth Aquila 105HF/S, and SonoKong manufactured Earth Metal Wheels. However, TAKARA-TOMY has since ceased production on the first mold, thus making it a difficult part to obtain. The second mold addressed breaking problems that the original mold faced by modifying the inside of each of Earth's wings. The new mold is up to three grams heavier than the old mold (30-31 grams versus 33 grams on the new mold), which makes it significantly more effective for Defense customizations. Therefore, the new mold is the preferred choice for Defense customs using Earth, while the original mold would be the best for Stamina.
Use in Defense Customization
Earth is best utilized in the top-tier Defense customization, MF-H Earth Bull/Kerbecs BD145CS. Earth's low recoil can be put to good use in combination with BD145 which prevents many KO's by top-tier low track attackers and adds a fair amount of weight making it difficult to knock around. CS, being the tallest defense tip currently, is the only suitable choice in combination with a BD145 in normal mode and due to BD145's weight, it makes up for CS' lesser defensive prowess compared to the completely rubber tip, RS. When you add Bull or Kerbecs for extra weight along with MF-H you essentially have a very low recoil, decently heavy defensive beyblade which can withstand attackers from all heights. Nevertheless, even Basalt outclasses it due to its sheer weight, rendering Earth completely useless in the metagame.
Use in Stamina Customization
Earth also has exceptional Stamina capabilities because of its low recoil and good weight distribution. Earth can be utilized in the top-tier Stamina custom, Earth Bull AD145WD. Bull is chosen due to it being one of the heaviest Clear Wheels with with a great distribution of weight.
Use in Spin Stealing Customization
ED145 has only remained useful in Spin Stealing combinations such as MF-F Meteo LDrago ED145EDS due to its free-spinning wings which allow for improved last-second endurance over the opposing bey.

RE: Evil Shark Pisces Draft - Raigeko13 - Jul. 02, 2014
Well, it could be better. Writing your own sections when all of these parts are already listed on Beywiki is a bit silly, considering most of them have gone through tons of revisions, and are well written.
This isn't as much, as it has some punctuation errors and such.
RE: Evil Shark Pisces Draft - 6 God - Jul. 02, 2014
I'm pretty sure this is from the Hasbro 2-pack, no? If so, I'm not sure it needs a draft, but I could be wrong.
The WD section is almost completely incorrect. Evil Pisces had ED145 not 145. The grammar is terrible all throughout the draft. The Evil/Killer section defenitely needs more content. Since when does the energy ring/clear wheel look like a fence? The first part in the face bolt description makes no sense. You shoukd mention something about the zodiac of Pisces.
RE: Evil Shark Pisces Draft - *Ginga* - Jul. 02, 2014
Beyblades within Faceoff Sets (not "2-Packs") do not have their own individual articles, but the Faceoff Sets themselves should have articles.

I just noticed 1 error in the energy ring part. What do you think I should change?

This^ should changed to this:

You need to space between punctuation.

Here's something closer to what it should look like. I don't know the other Beyblade in this 2 pack, otherwise I'd do it. I just copied and pasted each part from separate articles on Beywiki.
EDIT: Looks like it's got ED145, not 145, I'll revise that shortly.
EDIT 2: Added in Earth Virgo GB145BS, which was in the 2 pack this came with, below.

This isn't even a complete article, just the basics. No weights, photos, uses in customizations (which can easily be found for each respective part all throughout Beywiki) and whatnot. Fix that up and you're good.
One major flaw in your article though is that you don't put spaces between punctuation.

RE: Evil Shark Pisces Draft - DRAGON KING - Jul. 02, 2014
I'm pretty sure it's called Evil Pisces. Not Evil Shark Pisces. You didn't space right and Earth Pisces GB145BS is not top tier. And it's not the 3rd tallest track.
This article isn't too good at all .
RE: Evil Shark Pisces Draft - Raigeko13 - Jul. 02, 2014

More stuff.
1. You don't need to mention the anime character.
2. You can't Add other tracks to 145.
3. There really isn't a reason to mention it being good against Omega Dragonis 85XF, it's not good.
You should do more research before making a draft.

RE: Evil Shark Pisces Draft - Mitsu - Jul. 02, 2014
On top of what Raigeko13, DRAGON KING EX, and Echizen previously mentioned, here are some of my thoughts on your work:
Quote:Using this track with parts such as ed(ED145)or C(C145)will help it protect against low attackers such as Omega Dragonis 85XF.
- I was quite confused by this the the most: To begin with, I don't even why adding C145 in this case was really needed, as the track doesn't have any use on Evil Pisces, nor does it on any other Beyblade of the two in the 'Spiral Blitz 2-Pack'. Both ED145 and the un-needed C145 don't have any use for protecting against low attack attackers, as well. Giving an example like Omega Dragonis 85XF is quite irrelevant too, as it isn't top-tier.
Quote:145 is currently the 3rd highest spintrack.145 is used in the top-tier comboarth Pisces GB145BS.
145 isn't currently the 3rd highest Spin Track either. In fact, it didn't really make the top 5, as well:
- 1) 230/E230/A230/F230/SP230
- 2) TH220
- 3) TH195
- 4) TH170
- 5) SA165
- Keep in mind that Earth Pisces GB145BS was never top-tier, as well. Though there probably was something similar in the past along the lines of what you just said, Pisces, nor BS would never be in that kind of combo situation, as well. It would probably be better to say something like how Earth Virgo GB145RSF (all have parts from the 2-Pack (not specifically from Evil Pisces) don't have any competitive use in both Standard and Zero-G Format as of now, though however, that specific combo has some uses in the Limited Format. As articles like these would be published to BeyWiki depending how good they come out, it wouldn't be best to mention Standard, Zero-G, and Limited Format, as the article isn't relating to the WBO.
- I take it you'd also want to list the other versions of Pisces, as well as the competitive combos of the two pack itself, or the Evil Pisces alone. I did some of the work for you. Feel free to add these to your draft, as well, King E.Emperor:
Other Versions:
- Thermal Pisces T12ES
- Burn Pisces ED145WF
Competitive Combos utilizing the parts of Evil Pisces ED145WD:
Attack:- MF-H Flash Pisces GB145/H145/S130/CH120 R2F/RF/LRF
- MF-H Flash Pisces W145 MF
- There wasn't anything else I was able to find among the top-tier list, so I think that's just about it, aside from WD doing somewhat decent on SA165, though it is outclassed by both EWD and BWD.
- On top of everything I just mentioned, there's also what Raigeko13 said (which is very, very important), too:
(Jul. 02, 2014 8:21 PM)Raigeko13 Wrote: Well, it could be better. Writing your own sections when all of these parts are already listed on Beywiki is a bit silly, considering most of them have gone through tons of revisions, and are well written.
