Visual Arts Competition - sarabscientist - Jun. 27, 2014

!!!

At lot of people have been asking for some kind of GFX or drawing tournament and so I said why not combine the two.

Since single round and public voting competitions work smoothly, that's what the concept for this will be. With a little twist though. There will be two 'rounds' and the winner will be determined by the person with the most votes collectively. Each round lasts two weeks. And no! You don't have to participate for both rounds but mind you, your vote count might be lower than someone who has racked up votes from two rounds.

Visual representations include; paintings, drawings, sketches, digital art, graphic design, clay modeling, etc ...

To finish off, we're usually always good with the rules but just a friendly reminder to not plagiarize and no inappropriate entries, etc ...

THEME NUMBER ONE
Confinement-being locked up-trapped.

round runs from Friday June 27th to Friday July 11th

RE: Visual Arts Competition - Classik - Jun. 27, 2014

Ill send my entry soon

RE: Visual Arts Competition - sarabscientist - Jun. 27, 2014

IMPORTANT REMINDER

Please private message your entries to me with the title of this competition as your subject.

Changing of entries is not allowed, so keep that in mind!

RE: Visual Arts Competition - Mitsu - Jun. 27, 2014

Count me in, please! This sounds real exciting!

I take it photography would be allowed, as well, since it itself is a visual art. If not, I might decide to do a little bit of drawing. I'll be sure to send in my entry soon, though!

RE: Visual Arts Competition - TimeOut - Jun. 28, 2014

I'll be entering a sculpture. It'll take me a couple of days to dry and paint it though. Plus, I probably won't be able to enter round two. Also, maybe drop the entry range a little bit? Say to like July 6th or something?

Sure but no Beyblade photography.

What difference does four days make?

RE: Visual Arts Competition - TimeOut - Jun. 29, 2014

The difference between me being able to enter into round two or not.

RE: Visual Arts Competition - Classik - Jun. 29, 2014

I take it that it probably wouldn't be, hence her saying that Beyblade Photography isn't allowed. With that being said, if that couldn't happen, other Beyblade-related entries shouldn't be allowed either.

RE: Visual Arts Competition - Kujikato - Jun. 29, 2014

ARGH.

THIS THEME SO TOUGH.

WAI.

No please, and it might be hard to relate Beyblade into the themes anyway so ...

I might release the theme earlier but I will still have the full two weeks allotted for each round.

RE: Visual Arts Competition - Kujikato - Jun. 30, 2014

Once we PM our entry can we post it elsewhere on the site?

No please, we are trying to keep it relatively anonymous to avoid bias.

RE: Visual Arts Competition - sarabscientist - Jul. 05, 2014

I have received about two or three entries, the deadline is in six days so about a week. Remember even a quick doodle, graphic or pretty much anything can be entered.

The theme for the next round will be released this weekend so people can get a head start if they want.

So yeah! Enter whatever you can, it's better than nothing ^-^
