RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - BladeStorm - May. 01, 2015

I've searched the thread and read the comments, but I'm still confused about if a plastic series beyblade with "TOPBLADE" written on it and a "SOK Sonokong" logo on the bottom right is real. I know Takara-Tomy, Sono Kong and Hasbro are the manufacturers of beyblades.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Very-Rare-Beyblade-A-29-Dragon-F-Spin-Gear-System-Topblade-With-Launcher-/141453347205?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20ef46c985

I've been out of the hobby for years so have forgotten almost everything.

The SOK logo is one of Sonokong's older logos, and Top Blade is just the Korean dub for Beyblade. Any product with those labels ought to be as legit as any other product with the old TOMY logo.

Thanks for making that clear for me.

Booster Top and Starter Set at the top of the packaging? Are they authentic or counterfeit?
I can see that the rest of the packaging looks good from the logos but not sure about the top part.
Anyone had beyblades from this version of packaging?

Sorry for low res images

Pretty sure they are fake as I don't see Takara located anywhere.

The original Takara logo in Katakana is there ... It only changed to a Roman letter logo when TOMY bought over Takara.

My Puma, it looks like those BOOSTER and STARTER top parts could be stickers ? If they are not applied seals, then that is definitely not the original packaging at all, but the Takara logo is there, so that is the only section that causes doubt and it could be a well applied sticker.

Thanks for your help,

This is one I bought and sold a year ago, I can't remember if it was a sticker but i think it has a serial number next to A-77 same as this other one I found on ebay. Which makes me think that they are counterfeit (Above ones)

Those serial lot numbers are just stickers though. I do not know why someone would have applied them, but at least they are not litterally printed, whivh would make the box fake.

I really hate Rapidity Beyblade! I remember when I first saw it I though it was "Takara Tomy". Them beyblades carped me outta my money. They were always breaking. I spent almost 300$ on them. Can't Takara Tomy and Hasbro sue the living daylights out of them for illegally making them.

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - daltont456 - Jul. 21, 2015

i saw this on ebay, are they hasbro?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/171848804880?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
if they are legit, what makes them different than the original ones that were sold? do they come with launchers?

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Hato - Jul. 21, 2015

Yes, they are legit and Hasbro.

They are rereleases, they are mostly the same except some mold variants and the printed faces. And yes, they do come with launchers

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - daltont456 - Jul. 21, 2015

I've also found a Dragoon MS from hasbro new in box never opened it was 350... But he accepted an offer 115? Is this a fair price?

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - KaiTheLegend - Aug. 09, 2015

I am shocked at the huge number of fake MFB's that I have seen since Burst was announced. Here are a few:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-4D-Lian-Fa-Toys-Metal-Fusion-Beyblade-Clash-Tornado-Speed-Top-Set-US-Seller-/261975214751?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cfef08a9f

In fact, it's become much harder to find legit MFB's when searching Ebay. In addition, the first link I posted appears to be a new (possibly Chinese?) company producing fake Beyblades, Lian Fa. Also, the TT Hongli/Rapidity brand has begun producing fake versions of limited edition MFB's, such as the different versions of Mercury Anubis and Sol Blaze. I think it's only a matter of time before fake Burst Beyblades begin to show up, if they haven't surfaced already...

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Zoroaste - Aug. 09, 2015

Yeah I hear you. The thing that makes me really mad is that sometimes they will use takara pictures to try and sell them

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - LMAO - Aug. 09, 2015

When searching on eBay, just try searching terms like "Beyblade Takara" or "Beyblade Authentic" etc...

I'm interested in seeing if they'll release fake Bursts, if they do, woah, can't wait for the Beyblades to break after the first 10 seconds.

Fake Bursts will be so bad. Rather than Bursting they'll just shatter as soon as they're launched, haha.

I feel like they wouldn't even burst properly. I could just imagine either the teeth being extremely sharp or very blunt, and chip off very quickly like fake clear wheels.

I would buy one.

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Dracieleone - Aug. 20, 2015

How long do you think it will be until fake bursts come out?

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - TheWorldsBest - Sep. 24, 2015

I have two quick questions, my immediate question is HENGSONG a fake vendor? I've heard people say it's not fake and is fake. I heard it was an offshoot of Takara somehow (probably untrue though) Also is this fake, I'm almost 100% sure on this being fake, but just want to make sure, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261254448935?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT . Unfortunately for some reason I initially thought it said Hasbro and I purchased the item and it started to ship before I realized my mistake, going to have to return this if possible I think.

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - *Ginga* - Sep. 24, 2015

Both are fake. Not as sure about "Hengsong," but the second one is definable fake due to the fact that they rebranded the 4D system and called it Hyperblades.

Hmmm, wasn't anticipating your apperance. though that last half of true.

Most of the real if not all, don't go by the name hyper beyblades. Also can tell be the weight, coloring, as well as performances with certain types of beyblades

Looks like they now make fake BB-10s in black.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Beyblade-Bey-Stadium-Metal-Fusion-Battle-Arena-Black-Beystadium-USA-Large-Size/111786991641?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140602152332%26meid%3D638390f560af40c7b29b0ec5213926e2%26pid%3D100011%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D6%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D272068247206

For surprisingly cheap too. I wonder how they hold up though.

The moulding looks quite bad.

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - *Ginga* - Dec. 06, 2015

4 sold in the last hour ... Sorry guys!

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - MissingNo. - Dec. 06, 2015

To be honest, it looks really similar to the original BB-10.
