Fakes?

Hasbro logo, so you can deduce that it is real.

But the Third and First one were all over my place for 40RS(1$).
They Made Sounds and were a little Unbalanced and would only spin for like 30sec-1min

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Pimpju - Apr. 10, 2011

They're electronic, not meant for actual gameplay, isn't that obvious?

Also, they're essentially a forgotten toyline so the shopkeeper probably just wants to free up the stock room and minimise loss.

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Aquilaz112 - Apr. 10, 2011

K,
Thanks.
I had bought about 30-40 of those in 2002-2005 times.

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - th!nk - Apr. 10, 2011

Yeah, they are real (sadly). Horrid things.

He is a good video I have found to spot fakes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFwbYYuOQT8&feature=channel_video_title

Epic Fail on the second pic. It's 145WD, not HA140HF...

Anyways, fakes are really famous here in the Philippines. Man, if only people cared more about copyright than being cheap. Well, people here are generally cheap.

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - GemiosBlader10 - Apr. 11, 2011

akira2002
Ha, I would buy there only for the sticker sheets and the Metal Face tool!

EDIT:
I remembered, My friend said that there was a fake Ultimate ReShuffle set L-drago ver. when he passed by a store. I wonder what Metal Face Remodeling ver. looks like if they was fakes...

Really, this seems fake. I never heard of red Rock Leone, and this is coming out when S3 beys are going to be released. I don't think this is a real.

It is probably real; given the description says Authentic Takara-Tomy, not to mention the 100% feedback and the rest of the Beyblade items he has in his shop. He also stocks rare WBBA parts/beys so I wouldn't be surprised.

Well, the shape and everything is molded well, and they also claim to have original TAKARA-TOMY products. The plastic is also clear and doesn't seem dyed.

It is probably original.

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - th!nk - Apr. 13, 2011

I've got something on the way from them, an eclipse ver. Sol Blaze. From my communication with them over other stuff they seem like decent guys. That said, I've never heard of a Red Rock Leone (not even a red Leone CW), so I dunno...

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Kai-V - Apr. 13, 2011

I confirm that I have never seen it. The WBBA had an orange Leone Clear Wheel given with a Rock Metal Wheel at small competitions, but never so red.

So ... its fake ? Orange wheel has been seen, but, this red is unknown.

It actually seems to be so real... They also state that its a rare version... Even I never heard of such a version, but at the same time, I feel its an awesome recolor. If Kai-V's confirmed it to be fake, then we can't call it real..

Kai-V is the most intelligent member on WBO. And she hasn't saw or heard about it, so can we confirm it as fake, till she gets info.

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - th!nk - Apr. 13, 2011

We can't CONFIRM it as fake, but we can't confirm it's real, either. The seller seems reputable. Can someone ask him where/how he got it, maybe that would give us some insight?

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - X1 - Apr. 13, 2011

Remember the L Drago Destroy seller ? He also had 100% though L Drago was not officially licensed.

Things also depend upon the buyer. What if the buyer has no experience of beyblades? Also, the positive review might be for some products he sold(other than beys). If the buyer is satisfied, he'll give a +ve review... I hope you understand what I am sayng.

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Kai-V - Apr. 13, 2011

I am not necessarily the most intelligent here, hah.

It could have been just a mix of parts from Random Boosters that fit in colours, but that package seems sealed, and I did not find a red Leone Clear Wheel within the Random Boosters ...

I understand what you're saying, but the fact no one has said "MINE WAS FAKE" is a good indication. Though, there's one neutral review over a Poison Giraffe S130ES (it comes with mb, but that's sealed) which is odd.

When my Sol blaze arrives, I'll make sure it seems real, I guess. That said, I'd still suggest someone message him and ask about it, it couldn't hurt (I'd do it myself, except on my "asking questions" account, I just asked him one and don't want to seem rude).

And Kai-V, there doesn't seem to be a red leone CW, according to beywiki, or on ebay. I'm guessing by Intelligent, X1 meant Knowledgeable, by the way.

Also, another fake, probably been seen before, but the box doesn't look the same, and the seller seems to say they're REAL. I've messaged and asked (innocently, so hopefully I'll get a reply) if they're real. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Rock-Leone-BeyBlade-Metal-Fusion-BB-30-145WB-NEW-/280656906405?pt=AU_Toys_Hobbies_Character_Toys&hash=item41587488a5#ht_621wt_1139

Also: Have a look at the "Tiger" and "Bear" beys in THIS auction. AND look at the user. Surely, Ray (character) would've been a better choice for tiger...

Also, in general look at the wheel choices and everything. Uncertain

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Uwik - Apr. 14, 2011

The Red Leone is real. I've seen it on YJA (It was sold as a clear wheel, track, bottom, face, and no mw). It's WBBA limited. I'm an avid collector of Leone CWs, since it's my zodiac. But as I recall, It was more expensive on YJA. Maybe it's Hongkong version or something.

That particular ebay seller is also legit. I've bought quite a few limited beys from him. Even Japanese collectors have bought from him. (I know 'coz I was outbid once by a japanese dude).

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Janstarblast - Apr. 14, 2011

Its already stated as 'Rare' no wonder its expensive. Plus, its so rare that most people haven't seen it. So, misunderstandings are bound to happen... Still, matter solved!
