Begirados Begirados TH170 RSF - TimeOut - Jan. 26, 2014

So, I kind of love this thing, request tests all day. I'll post a video in a couple of days once my new tripod arrives.

The Concept: Destabilization. Destabilization. Destabilization. With a little bit of KO. This thing can KO stamina and destabilize the ones it can't. Obviously no good against left, but it's a pretty good balance type.

The Launch: Sliding shoot against attack, straight launch as hard as your rsf can take without going aggro against everything else.

Procedure:
Standard

(190 height) vs. Duo Cancer SA165 EWD
90% (11 KO, 7 OS)

(170 height) vs. Duo Aquario BD145 RDF
85% (4 KO, 13 OS)

(220 height) vs. Duo Cancer 230 MB
95% (9 KO, 10 OS)

(190 height) vs. Flash Orion GB145 R2F
55% (4 KO, 7 OS)

I didn't really know what else to test this against....

What about against Diablo and Wyvang? I thnk this is force smash.

I'm not sure what to test against either, haha.

Also, the tests are a bit... Um... I don't know I just can't read them. Are these correct?

Begirados win %: 90.00%

Begirados win %: 85.00%

Begirados Begirados TH170 RSF (220 height) vs. Duo Cancer 230 MB
Begirados: 19/20 (9 KO, 10 OS)

Begirados win %: 95.00%

Begirados Begirados TH170 RSF (190 height) vs. Flash Orion GB145 R2F
Begirados: 11/20 (4 KO, 7 OS)

Begirados win %: 55.00%

I unfortunately do not own either of them. Although, my wyvang will be arriving in a few days.

A general height guideline for testing:
145 or below: 170
160-190: 190
200-230: 220[/align]

I doubt anyone has three Begirados, but if they do, try Balro/Wyvang Begirados (whichever is balanced better for you) TR145RF against this. Begirados' Force Smash/Upper Attack should work to smash the TH170 combo around like crazy.

Alternatively, use Balro^2 CH120RF or Balro^2 BD145MF against this, though I doubt Balro has as much vertical Smash as Begirados does.

EDIT: Try stalling this with Flash Orion (or Eonis, or something else, whatever CW you prefer) W145MF. I bet Flash will be able to OS it then.

yay, it seems not bad, but i don't think it would do that great against alot of the top-tier combo's.

On a more serious note, I really like this combo! If only I had a TH170 and an RSF to do tests with Cute

Also, I'd kind of like to see tests against Dragoon_F230(G)CF please! Smile

It has good results against Duo SA165EWD, Duo
BD145RDF, Duo 230MB, and Flash, which if you didn't know, are top-tier combos.

yay i knew they are, i don't think it would win against most of the top-tier combo's, it would would't win against any of the top-tier dragoon combo's Pinching_eyes

You have tests to support that? You need tests to support that notion. This seems like an interesting combo. Will test against all top-tier combos I can.

30% (6 KO, 0 OS)

This really did not stand a chance against it, the combo is very recoil heavy (begirados's main problem) except when it happened to hit it just right, the match ended up looking very much like attack v attack.

Wouldn't Gryph Gryph be a better chrome wheel set up for this? It's a lot better for destabilization from what I've read and isn't as recoil prone as Begirados Begirados. Plus Begiardos' stamina alone is horrendous and I've noticed with two together its even worse.

I would guess so, Gryph is so small, it would be best as " MSF-H Gryph^2 TH170RSF".

do i honestly need to test this combo out against top-tier dragoon combo's if i know it would lose? i will test, but it the combo is not going to do that great.

By all means, you can't make a statement if you don't have proof. Even if it's vs Dark Tempo M145Q, you still needs test so everyone can see it's true what you're saying.

yay i understand but i think it's stupid how you have to test something against a combo that you know it would lose, it wouldn't make since, but like i said before, i'll do some tests soon

sorry for double posting but guys i am sorry for spaming this thread, i thought this was for zero-g format and mfb standard format, but i just realized that this combo was under mfb standard format, this combo would actaully be pretty good acataully Wink

Gryph doesn't have the destabilization effect. It's more compact. I've tested it before, didn't do very well to say the least.
