RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - Mc Frown - Jul. 19, 2010

Depends.
On more than one thing.

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - Sora. - Jul. 19, 2010

Which is?

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - Kai-V - Jul. 19, 2010

If the place you bought it from had some old stock of BB-59, then it might have the first mold. If they are 'newer' stock, then in theory it should be the second mold. However, it could be random as well.

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - Diamond - Jul. 19, 2010

I got the old mold. Unhappy

Anyway, thanks for the update DrigerGT!

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - Mc Frown - Jul. 19, 2010

Waiting for Hasbro. My sort of but not really heros (of molds).

But the Lighter mold has been proven by you that it can be a smash attacker with Burn Capicorn 90 RF, which may not be as effective with the 2nd mold
Hopefully when my B.Phoneix arrives it will be First Mold .

Thanks for the info DrigerGT

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - XDBeyblade - Jul. 19, 2010

Thanks DrigerGt I got the 1st mold so it means that the lightest one is better in Stamina or the heaviest.

The second mold should be more effective since more weight is focused on the outside, giving it better Smash Attacking capabilities.

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - DrigerGT - Jul. 19, 2010

I have both molds, unfortunately the new mold I have is from the CoroCoro limited Burn Pisces ED145WF....so I won't use it in battle. I'll do some solo-spin tests though.

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - OkiBlaze - Jul. 19, 2010

I assume the new molds of Burn will also be in the new RB?

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - Clerish - Jul. 19, 2010

Yes, they should.

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - DrigerGT - Jul. 19, 2010

So, I made a very fast test.

Stadium: Attack
Launch: Full power
Launcher: Beylauncher + Suspension attached to Grip

Burn (1st mold) Bull DF145SD
1) 2.52
2) 2.56
3) 2.48

Burn (2nd mold) Bull DF145SD
1) 3.32
2) 3.58
3) 3.49

I used exactly the same Face, Clear Wheel, Track and Bottom with both the Wheels.

I know they are only 3 launches, but I think the difference can be seen.

Averaging at about a minute extra, that's huge.

Very useful, thank you!

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - DrigerGT - Jul. 19, 2010

Thanks. I'd like to see someone other results though.

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - Diamond - Jul. 20, 2010

Wow, this is pretty awesome.

Thanks for doing the tests DrigerGT!

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - Toonpenguin - Jul. 20, 2010

After seeing GT's results I go back on my word and hope I get the 2nd mold

Anyways' thanks for the results, I can't believe there about a whole minute more solo spin time with the new mold

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - TheLVJ - Jul. 20, 2010

No one ever conducted tests on the two earth Molds to prove which is better for stamina. The 2nd has more concentrated weight on the outer rim, as well.

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - theflightyellz - Jul. 20, 2010

Carp, was hoping I could avoid getting burn in any form to be honest..
How does it actually fair against earth mold 1 though?

According to Kei's thread, Burn won 90% of the time (18 - 2). I'm not sure what mold Kei has though.

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - Daegor42 - Jul. 20, 2010

Kei used a first mold Earth.

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - Cpt. Squirrel - Jul. 20, 2010

I meant his Burn wheel. I'm not sure which Burn wheel he used.

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - jwb97a - Jul. 20, 2010

i just want the clear wheel its so shiny

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - FlameDragon25 - Jul. 20, 2010

So is the new mold more suited for defense or stamina?
I got the second mold and have been using it in defense combos because of the weight.

RE: BB-59 Burn Phoenix 135MS - Clerish - Jul. 20, 2010

It's better in both ways.

That's odd ... my CoroCoro Burn is the first mold. This must mean they switched molds in the middle of the promotion?

It was the first mold. The only other Burn Wheel I have is the limited gold CoroCoro one, and as I said above, it is the first mold. So I can't do any tests myself yet. D:
