"Hey you comin' doofus I don't want to be late for my first tournament, an especially a big one that's being held at the carnival." "Yeah yeah I'm coming." I examined Ingrid's bey Flame Libra like I knew everything about it. Even though I don't have a beyblade, I'm still interested in them. "Hey aren't we suppose to pick up Ace first?" "He said he wanted to be there extra early, I don't know why." Yeah I've always wondered why Ace was always early to everything, he even at school before it opens. He's a weird guy butan is he a heck of a blader.

We finally came upon the carnival, Ingrid registered herself into the tournament and she was instructed to hang out in a big tent with all of the others registered attendees. That meant I was left alone wandering around the park waiting for the tournament to begin in ten minutes. As I wandered around the carnival aimlessly I saw something shining out of the corner of my eye. I stopped, turned and picked it up. It was a beyblade! I was overwhelmed with excitement and couldn't contain it. But I don't really know anything about this beyblade, I've never seen anything like this one before. The energy ring was blue and had a storm fusion wheel, and also had a horse on the facebolt. I then realized that I could sign up for the tournament. I rushed over to the registration stand, there was only three minutes until the tournament began. The lady who registered bladers asked "Name?" "Ryuusei Hagane!" "You're lucky kid you barely made it, and into the last spot too." I entered the tent and all of the bladers were mingling and milling around as I just stood there alone. Ingrid and Ace found me. "Ryuusei what are you doing in here this is for bladers competing tw tournament?" "But I am competing." I took out the beyblade and showed them. "Wow finally got yourself a beyblade huh? Now I have a new opponent instead of beating Ingrid all the time." He said smirkingly to Ingrid "Grrrrrrr watch it you!" As soon as she could let out her anger it was cancelled by the announcer announcing the starting of the tournament. All of the Bladers formed in a line on the platform in frot of the stadium. I finally realized that this is my first time being in a beyblade battle. This is it.

The tournament began and we blazed through the battles one by one. We finally arrived in the semi-finals. The first battle was me versus Ingrid. Of course I won because well to be honest, Ingrid isn't the best blader I've seen. So I got moved on to the finals. And the second battle was Ace versus Ren Yengi. Ren is the best blader at my school and pretty much the best in my town. Ren and his Dark Wolf are an unbeatable team. But as soon as the battle started Ren's Wolf knocked Ace's Eagle out of the stadium. Here it was, I was going to be competing in the finals against Ren Yengi.

I thought to myself, I have no chance against Ren, he's so strong. "Yes you can Ryuusei." As a faded voice came out of nowhere. It wasn't Ace or Ingrid, it was a low strong voice. But I couldn't tell where it came from. So I just ignored it and put my launcher at the ready. Ren did the same. "Ready to lose Ryuusei Hagane?" "I won't lose to you!" Overhead the announcer stood above all "Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the 28th annual carnival tournament! I'll have you know that the WBBA has chosen our small town that whoever the winner of this final battle is, will go on to the qualifiers for a spot on the American International Beyblade team for the world championship this year! So let's get this thing started!" "3... 2... 1... LET IT RIP!" Both beyblades clashed and circles the stadium in blazing speeds. My bey was being pushed to the edge of the stadium. "Yes Wolf! Push him out o the stadium!" No I wasn't about to lose here and now! My mind suddenly became in tune with my beyblade and suddenly knew everything about it. A blue aurora grew around me, "Go Pegasus!" I screamed the command at my beyblade. "What?! What's happening?" Questioned Ren. A blue aurora now surrounded Pegasus as well. "Wolf! Dark blast cannon! This should stop him." The two overpowered beys touched and there was nothing but a cloud of dust. It faded away slowly. "And the winner is... Dark Wolf!" The announcer claimed. I fell onto the ground and was exhausted. I passed out, and remembered nothing from before the next morning.

I finally got to learn things about my beyblade and have now became closer to it. Storm Pegasus. I sat at my desk alone in my room, overall I was pretty upset that I didn't win against Ren. He made it to qualifiers for the American International team but never actually made it on the team. After that him and his family moved to Japan, and that was the last anybody ever saw of Ren Yengi. As for me the days went on, I trained relentlessly everyday with Pegasus at the beypark. Sometimes even Ingrid would come with me and analyze Pegasus's power. Now the years went by, me, Ingrid, and Ace grew apart. We just stopped talking to each other after a while, I still battled though. Pegasus and I got stronger by the day. I was now in my senior year of high school. 17 and still rippin it. I decided to participate in the tournament again, and since I was here four years ago, the WBBA wanted a blader from this town again. I registered and saw a few bladers I knew. And surprisingly I saw Ace. "Hey Ace! Over here pal!" He glanced at me and waved. He didn't change one bit. He still had his long purple hair, with his siler glasses and his emotionless face that never changed. "Hello Ryuusei." "Wow it's been too long Ace!" I went to reach out and give him a hug but he pushed me away. "Please Ryuusei, I'm here on strict business, I just want to make it to the America International team qualifiers." "Haha then I guess we're here for the same reason." Something inside me couldn't tell if he was here for fun or really serious. Well I can see why Ace is so emotionless. His mother and father both passed away in a car accident, so now he's being raised by his grandmother. The tournament started and again I flew through the battles, but then gain so did Ace.

Me and Ace were the finalists and I couldn't wait. Surprisingly Ace and I have never battled before, so it'll be interesting how I'll handle. Our launchers were at the ready. 3... 2... 1... LET IT RIP! Both beys coracles the stadium at rapid speeds. We clashed in the middle of the stadium. The battle went on like this for ten minutes. "Eagle! Wing strike!" Eagle soared out of the stadium and came down into it in a purple light. "Pegasus! Aerial destruction!" Pegasus also then flew up and out of the stadium sirrounded by a blue light. Once the beys clashed, smoke surrounded the stadium. "It appears... that it's a tie!" The announcer said. "And since it's a tie both bladers will be moving onto the qualifiers for a chance to make it on team GoGoBlade the international American beyblade team." Yes, I finally made it to the next stage.
