I just came back so i dont know if im suppose to get these new metal ones
i saw on ebay they were like $50 for 1 so no offense but isnt that alot for 1 beyblade? well im not a tourney person so im not as competitive so am i forced to get a newer one to get respect on this fourm?

This probably could have been asked in the Ask a Question thread, however I shall answer your question.
We won't judge you for what you buy, but Metal Fight Beyblade is the new series with new products (older blades have not been made in years). So it is only natural that most of our discussion has shifted over to the new series.
Many of us have been playing for years (7 myself). So the new product line is refreshing.
We are also pushing tournaments to the new formats to keep the game fresh.
But like I said we have members who choose to stick with the old series. Just don't be surprised however if you see an ever decreasing amount of discussion about it.
