RE: Recent Purchases - Blue - Jan. 08, 2009

hey I thought Lost Odessey was good?

dude I've been looking around about RRoD, you could do this http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/repair/ring_of_light_x-clamp_fix.htm

RE: Recent Purchases - Roan - Jan. 08, 2009

Lost Odyssey isn't bad by any means, its just fairly standard.

I enjoyed what I played of it (made it almost all the way through the first two discs out of four total), it just got stale. I thought the story was intriguing, although really depressing, and it was ultimately the atmosphere of the game that drove me away from it, not the game itself.

RE: Recent Purchases - Blue - Jan. 08, 2009

HOLY carp 4 discs. I had no idea.
then was mass effect multi-disc too?

RE: Recent Purchases - Roan - Jan. 08, 2009

Nope, Mass Effect is on one disc. If you install it only takes up like 6 GBs or something like that. I'm honestly really not sure why Lost Odyssey took up 4 discs. Mistwalker must have wanted to keep from compressing things. No idea.

RE: Recent Purchases - Blue - Jan. 08, 2009

MY Sweet carp red HDMI cable came in, thus the link between the PS3 and my TV is digital. 1080p and all the lower resolutions look very clean, noise free and sharp and colours seem more even.

Also finally, my credit card arrived. B)

RE: Recent Purchases - SaMaster14 - Jan. 09, 2009

just bought a new Vaja leather case for my Blackberry Storm: $100.
and I'm in a photography class this semester so I bought A LOT of photo stuff for about $300. And I'm using my dads film camera, so I didn't need to buy a camera just film and other stuff for the class.

RE: Recent Purchases - Bey Brad - Jan. 09, 2009

wow $100 blackberry case, that's more than i paid for my laptop case, must be really cool

Its really nice. its handcrafted leather and personalized too. I used one of those credit card gift cards, since I rarely ever use them, and they are going to waste, and I have like 10 $100 cards that I"ve been "collecting" since like 2 years ago that I just never use... so I'm gonna start getting stuff on the internet with them, since I'm getting an actual credit card when I get my car in a few months.

I wasn't trying to really do that, I just got gifts every year from my family(and extended family) and they are always these gift cards that I never use, so I used one on this case.

Yep and photopaper which costs about $50 for 100 sheets which wont even last you a year.

Just to warn you, if you buy photo-paper, don't open it unless youre in a darkroom or youll carp it up, you'll learn all this there, but it's just a warning since I had to almost throttle my mum because she kept trying to open the box.

Recent buys:
2 rolls of 24 shot film
10 sheets of photopaper

Guess youre right on that.
But it;s an expensive hobby for someone who isnt 'in the money' if ya catch my drift?
Ebay is my saviour on terms of camera equipment though.

As for purchases:
Cyberdog Ultron vest top (Took forever to track this thing down!)

You had it 'track it down'? Is it not in stock then? Also, pictures please. Smile

RE: Recent Purchases - May The Pirate - Jan. 12, 2009

It's an old design (From about a year or so ago) Cyberdog put things in and out of stock every season, Some of my stuff from them dates back to 2001. So I generally buy stuff from ebay because its cheaper.

Looks like that.
Figured I needed some summer clothes because I only have a few tops that arent long-sleeved.

RE: Recent Purchases - Rocky - Jan. 12, 2009

You do realise it's Winter now? XD It's pretty though. Smile

I'm the complete opposite. I have like two tops that aren't short sleeves. D: I really need to go clothes shoopping soon. ^^;

RE: Recent Purchases - May The Pirate - Jan. 12, 2009

I don't exactly dress warmly in the winter (If you want to call wearing a short-sleeved shirt and wrap around trousers (Tights underneath of course) out in minus 5 as warm XD), but I find it easier to go shopping now for some summer stuff because it's difficult to buy Cyberdog stuff like this in summer because everyone else wants it XD

RE: Recent Purchases - Rocky - Jan. 12, 2009

Fair enough I guess.
I used to be like that. When I was younger I'd run around in the snow in a T-Shirt but now I need at least 3 layers to go to school. Pinching_eyes_2

RE: Recent Purchases - May The Pirate - Jan. 12, 2009

XD only thing I worry about is my fingers. They turn blue if I dont wear gloves and they get really numb. I also have problems with my Jaw (But aside a scarf, There's nothing that can keep around your gob warm) it dislocates from time to time and I get really bad lock-jaw, I can normally unlock and put it back into place painlessly, but in the cold if I try, it becomes painful and I have to wait until its warm again to put it back.

Bring back summer dammit!

RE: Recent Purchases - Rocky - Jan. 12, 2009

My fingers and feet get reeeaaally cold. I guess I must have bad circulation. And I only have fingerless gloves at the moment. Pinching_eyes_2

And in a vain attempt to be on topic, today I bought a packet of Cheddar and Onion Mc.Coys Crisps and a Dark Bounty. And the other day I bought an Excel Saga vol. 1 DVD. XD
