Why wouldn't I be serious? LOL

Everything there is black, or somewhat close to black. And judging from the photos you've posted, that's my assumption.

EDIT: Even the chain is black ...

Aha! Grin

I said it was closer, not dead-on.

Shirts with abstract smears on them and deliberately wrinkled clothes seems hipster to me, though. Maybe not western hipster, but hipster from somewhere.

You kids and your ed hardy and acid-washed jeans and sideways baseball caps and ZUBAZ pants.

RE: Recent Purchases - Odin - Apr. 22, 2012

I wouldn't say that it's abstract smears, I can pretty clearly see a butterfly on it.

RE: Recent Purchases - Hazel - Apr. 22, 2012

I was more referring to the third shirt down, but everyone knows Butterflies are just abstract smears in reality anyway.

RE: Recent Purchases - Bey Brad - Apr. 22, 2012

I don't think hipsters wear designer clothes, generally ... I would say I am closer to goth than hipster, probably haha. Hipster is very vintage, DIY and deliberately ironic clothes.

I'm not goth, though I do like black clothes. It's my favourite designer, KiryuyriK by Masakatsu Takayanagi.

RE: Recent Purchases - Cannon - Apr. 22, 2012

What's with the second photo? Is that skirt? LOL

RE: Recent Purchases - Hazel - Apr. 22, 2012

So, the first guy is definitely wearing what look like ZUBAZ-inspired Cargo Shorts.

no good

RE: Recent Purchases - Cannon - Apr. 22, 2012

And you really like the second one...? .__.

It doesn't seem very "man-like". Aha

RE: Recent Purchases - Kai-V - Apr. 22, 2012

... You are just profoundly stuck into stereotypes.

RE: Recent Purchases - Cannon - Apr. 22, 2012

Eee Either that, or because I'm from a younger Generation, and our taste isn't as good as you old folks, aha.

RE: Recent Purchases - Kai-V - Apr. 22, 2012

Younger generations are actually supposed to be more open about things ...

RE: Recent Purchases - Bey Brad - Apr. 22, 2012

It's not really a "skirt", it's a scarf worn around the hips. That said, I don't really have the guts to wear a full-on skirt but I admire guys who do. I pre-ordered this from next fall collection.

I'm not very "man-like" so I can deal with it. I don't think playing with spinning tops is particularly macho, either.

RE: Recent Purchases - Cannon - Apr. 22, 2012

But that's so... unnatractive, is the least I should say. :\

But whatevs, doesn't really affect me, so ima good.

And Kai, from where I live, I don't think kids will ever be open minded. Aha

My ~* beautiful french girlfriend *~ doesn't mind so I'm not too worried about that.

RE: Recent Purchases - Cannon - Apr. 22, 2012

Ah, well than that's nice then.

But those look like what people would wear when they're playing Bagpipes. Aha, kidding. (?)

RE: Recent Purchases - 3-Dog - Apr. 22, 2012

rofl @ Cannon's hardcore vendetta against scarfs worn around the hips

Is that supposed to be an insult ...?

Number (N)ine did something similar back in 2007.

I have no idea what any of these are. I just wear regular old blue jeans (Although I like the carpenter style a little bit) and a t shirt. I actually wear my pants around my waist, too!

It just depends on the generation. For example, 90's style was terrible. Why would grunge ever be popular? Eww. A lot of guys didn't wash their hair as often because it was popular for it to be a little greasy. Style sucked in most generations up to today. Heck, some of the modern styles suck too. Brad has pretty good taste, but it depends on where you live. Personally, if I had the money, I would be buying all kinds of clothes that it was popular to see in the 1930's. I personally like that nice cleaned up style the best. And it really works for playing Alto Sax! ^^

Went out and got some modeling clay for my Biology project. I had to make a 3D model of DNA. It turned out good, but I feel like the whole project was just a waste of my time. Uncertain

oOo, no, I was just saying they look similar to whatever they're called.

You weren't alive for most of the things I just listed. All of them but Ed Hardy were early/mid-90's clothing trends in the US. All of them are equally terrible.

Kilt is the word you're looking for.

RE: Recent Purchases - th!nk - Apr. 23, 2012

I'm not going to lie, the first thing I thought when I saw that picture was "FASHION KILT 2012"

I like that long sleeved coat you bought, though, Brad.
