I have observed for over a few days that my best beyblade-Lightning L-Drago D125LF- did not perform as well on Meteo L-Drago 145CS, though height difference most likely would have pointed out that Lightning's Spin Steal performance would have been superior to Meteo's. Meteo instantly fell once the track was struck, Striking the other beyblade, but in Assualt Mode it shows more Spin Steal. Does this usually happen?

Well, what Mousy said is correct but you know.. Lightning L-Drago has worst spin steal than Meteo L-Drago since Meteo has a rubber clear wheel.. and rubber absorb hits. And no, barrage works better than assault mode.
EDIT : Spin Stealers have been outclassed by HTCs
