My Beyblade Website!! L00K!! - Kiiing - Jul. 21, 2009

Well, here it is. I've worked very hard on it and am hoping to form an Affiliation with this site. You can watch the anime, discuss Beylade in general, and join the my Beyblade Roleplay. http://bjaofficial.forumotion.com

RE: My Beyblade Website!! L00K!! - Bey Brad - Jul. 21, 2009

There is no content, only four members ... I don't see the point of such a tiny organization when we have the WBO.

Just my honest two cents.

RE: My Beyblade Website!! L00K!! - Kiiing - Jul. 21, 2009

There is actually 8 members and i'm sure the WBO started out just as small as the BJA so I'm going to try to make my Organization bigger an I'm not going to give up.

P.S. I have 6 more members that havent signed up yet but are BJA members.

RE: My Beyblade Website!! L00K!! - Bey Brad - Jul. 21, 2009

As I said, I don't see why we should divide the community ... I don't see what your site offers that this site does not.

RE: My Beyblade Website!! L00K!! - Kiiing - Jul. 21, 2009

Well I do.
1. You can watch the Anime on the site.
2. There is a Roleplay section as well as the Sitewide Beyblade RPG.
3. There is a points system.

Also I don't mean for this conversation to be a fight. Just sayin'.

RE: My Beyblade Website!! L00K!! - Bey Brad - Jul. 21, 2009

1. You can download episodes of Metal Fight Beyblade from our anime section. There have been links posted many times to where you can watch it, and you're not hosting it yourself, so it's not exactly exclusive content.
2. OK, you have roleplaying. Not something I'm interested in.
3. We have a comprehensive ranking system currently under maintenance. I don't see a points system on your site.

What do you mean by that?

And Bey Brad, I do have a points system. If you make a topic you get 7 points, if you post a reply you get 5 points. Our ranking system is ready and I'm going to insert it once I get more people to join and post.

Oh, that ... what's the point? What can I do with the points?

RE: My Beyblade Website!! L00K!! - Kiiing - Jul. 21, 2009

Well the Bey Shop (online virtual shop to spend points) is in progress but again, I just need more active users.

RE: My Beyblade Website!! L00K!! - Bey Brad - Jul. 21, 2009

So you have a points system, and you only get points for posting, but you can't do anything with them. You have four members and almost no posts. You have no reviews, videos, photos, or any original content. It seems to me all you've done is put up a website.

I don't know how old you are, but you need to learn that running a successful website takes hard work. Nobody is going to join simply because it's there. There's no reason for anyone to join, because there's nothing interesting there. People join the WBO because we run tournaments, we have loads of great content, photos, videos, and discussion. Not simply because we exist.

Hundreds of dollars hours of work and have gone into the WBO. If you don't want to put that kind of time and dedication into your site, you probably won't see much growth, because why post there when you could post here?

I DO put lots of work into my site. I DO run tornaments like every single day with the same original 8 members on my street and FYI i'm in first. Again I have 8 members not 4. I have original content but I dont have a video camera so all I record it on is my cell phone. And if I had 1000 members like you do then I would have good discussion. Also i'm putting up a wiki on there.

Supaburn Well but anyways he's right...Brad has put in a lot of dedication and money from his own pocket for the WBO... Im quite happy here. Its cool that you made a beyblade site, it could be fun if you get more members and it starts going a little. But it will never be as big, fun, and informational as the WBO... Smile

You're not interested in hearing criticism, so I'll leave you alone. Any other members, feel free to chime in.

RE: My Beyblade Website!! L00K!! - Kiiing - Jul. 21, 2009

Actually, this whole conversation has helped me SO much. Honestly, thank you. I made that site because of this one. i'm not just saying that. I've been a fan of this site befor it was even called the WBO, when it was just Beywiki. I remember the Batle of the Boroughs tornament (I couldn't go because my Dad was working that day). This really is the best Beyblade site ever. I just wanted mine to be as good as this.

RE: My Beyblade Website!! L00K!! - Minion - Jul. 21, 2009

FYI he's in first, FYI!

RE: My Beyblade Website!! L00K!! - firelord767 - Jul. 21, 2009

I like the idea of roleplay, but blader jam association? Honestly, if i were to roleplay there, my mind would be stuck on lunch. Role playing is much more fun in person, btw. Thats really the only unique thing going there, so i'm just gonna stick to the WBO. Btw, your tourneys are only on your street?

I just see a site to steal the WBO that, in my short but intreguing time here i saw this, has failed to realize that Beybrad, Kai-v, G and many others work very hard to craete unstealable thunder.

RE: My Beyblade Website!! L00K!! - Kiiing - Jul. 21, 2009

Blader Jam as in Blader Jam the BBA tornament in the west coast that took place in 2004. As for my tornaments my only local members are on my street so that's self-explanatory. Also I think the Online Roleplay idea was good. And Roleplaying Beyblade in real life would just be having a beybattle right?

Also @ Minion, was that an attempt to make fun of me because I could probaly wreck you in Beyblade anyday.

altough i doubt a empty site would steal many people

edit: also if he was as dedicated as brad is, i doubt he'd be using a free forum

RE: My Beyblade Website!! L00K!! - Kiiing - Jul. 21, 2009

Well what's the point of spending money if I have barely any users.

RE: My Beyblade Website!! L00K!! - Aikemi - Jul. 21, 2009

I don't see the point in wasting time and money on your forum, when this perfectly awesome one is right here. It's taken almost 3 years to get this forum at where it's at. Would you be willing to spend 3 years on yours?

roleplaying online at best allows a story to develop... having battles in a roleplay has never been something i enjoyed. Without proper rules in place, people just say what they want and it ends up in bickering and with the proper rules it becomes a boring string of calculations...

also, if you say you can wreck someones beyblade anyday, i'll have to start wondering what sort of beyblade you have... 'cuz beyblades are still classified as toys and so must be safe to use, if your 'beyblade' can wreck another person's then it certainly doesn't sound like it abides to health and safety regulations

RE: My Beyblade Website!! L00K!! - Kiiing - Jul. 21, 2009

Yes Hero, yes I will.

And @ Zero328 I said wreck you IN Beyblade, meaning, I could beat him in it.

Roleplaying in real life would invole the beybattles progressing a storyline with non cannon charecters that reflect yourself in real life.

I'm not aware how old u are, but if ur around 12 or something you should understand.

Online Role playing is good, too.

Thats all true, if u play with the wrong people. Rules would take away fun, and no rules would ultimatley lead to some people overpowering themselves like a certain someone i know (whos not on this forum, so whew!).

With the right people, even imaginary beybattles can be fair and balenced, and allows more room for imagination.

Role-playing online is good, too.

King II, don't be hostile. You don't know of Minions skills and you shouldn't be so cocky.
