In a parallel universe far different from ours, there aren't any beystadiums. the world is your stadium. Now beys can be used for terrorist attacks like 9-11, Osama Bin Ladin launched his powerful bey to the twin towers of New York. You also use these special glasses to see the beys beast and the destruction that they make but when the battle is over or when you take off the glasses during the battle the destruction disappears. Now a newcomer to this style of battling, Axel Hiratawa, must show the world his strength with his Death Quetzalcoatl.

Axel Hiratawa is strolling all over the world in search of something important and strong bladers to show his skills. One day, he sees a sign about a beyblade tournament in 3 days in Austin, Texas. He is in Dallas and will practice until the tournament.
3 days later.
He is there and waiting to compete. "Wow, I actually made it" Axel said. There was a spot where the competitors could practice but he decided not to. So he watched. He saw a guy and Axel was watching him. "Who is that guy?" Axel wondered. The guy was battling a guy, "Attack!!" The guy yelled. He broke the opponent's beyblade into half. Axel was surprised to see that. "What happens if I face him right at the beginning" Axel asked.

"THE TOURNAMENT HAS BEGUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Blader DJ announced. The first battle has just begun. The battle was Jason VS Michael. "BYXIS!!, FLAMING NEEDLE!!!!" yelled Michael to his Inferno Byxis. "KEEP YOUR GROUND, FOX!!" yelled Jason to his Divine Fox. The winner was Jason. The second battle started. ''Luke VS Max'' announced Blader DJ. Axel looked mysteriously at Luke. "That's him, that's the guy who broke that bey with one smash" Axel realized. "Time to see his battle style" Axel thought. "3,2,1, LET IT RIP!!" DJ announced. Luke and Max launched theirs beys. Axel puts on his glasses to watch the rest of the battle. Luke's Phantom Orion defeats Max's Ray Unicorno with one blow. Axel is again shocked. It's Axel's turn to battle now. "We have our two competitors for the semi-final, now for the third battle. Axel VS Ichiro." Blader DJ announced. Both Axel and Ichiro readied up their beys and putted on their glasses. 3,2,1 LET IT RIIIIIIIPPP! Both beys were launched and the battle has started. "Go, Quetzalcoatl, hold nothing back!!" Axel said. "Hold on, Lyra!!", Ichiro yelled to his combo, Inferno Lyra TH170 XF. Quetzalcoatl hits Lyra hard and sends it to the edge of the field (remember their are no stadiums in this universe). "No, Lyra!! Attack it back, harder!!!" Lyra dashes to the center of field, where Quetzalcoatl is. "Death Survival!! Quetzalcoatl!!" Quetzalcoatl's fusion wheel turns black, making a force field around it. "Lyra, forget the attack, turn around!!" Ichiro screams to Lyra, but Lyra doesn't turn around. It rather hits Quetzalcoatl. Quetzalcoatl hits Lyra hard with it's force field and sends Lyra yet again to edge of the field. Lyra hits the wall and is losing more and more spin velocity. "Let's finish this, Quetzalcoatl. Special Move!! Death Strike!!!" Quetzalcoatl dashes to Lyra at the speed of light and finishes the battle. "AXEL AND QUETZALCOATL WIN!! THEY ADVANCE TO THE SEMI-FINALS" Blader DJ announced. "One battle left and the semi-finals, I hope who wins." Axel thought.

"THE LAST BATTLE OF THE FIRST ROUND HAS STARTED!!" Blader DJ announced. The battle was Jonah VS Logan. The winner was Logan and his Burn Escolpio. "LET THE SEMI-FINALS BEGIN!!" Blader DJ announced. "FIRST BATTLE IS THE LONE FOX, JASON!! ACROSS FROM JASON WE HAVE THE MAN WITH THE BIG ATTACK RIGHT AT THE START, LUKE!!" Blader DJ announced once again. "LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!!" DJ announced. "3,2,1 LET IT RIP!!" both bladers yelled. "Go Divine Fox!!" Jason yelled. "Attack Orion!" yelled Luke. This time, Luke didn't finish the battle with one clash. "What!?!?!?" Luke asked. "Why didn't I finish him off?". "Who cares!! Go Fox!!" Jason replied. "Oh yeah!! Fine. Orion!! FINISH HIM!!" Orion did his special move and sent Fox flying disassembled. "LUKE AND HIS PHANTOM ORION B:D WON" DJ announced. "THEY ADVANCE TO THE FINALS!! NOW, AXEL VS LOGAN!!". "3,2,1 LET IT RIP!!" both bladers launched their beys. Axel won that like a snap. "NOW WHAT ALL OF US HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!! THE FINAL BATTLE!!" DJ said. Come back next time to read about the Final Battle of Axel and Luke.

"THE TIME YOU BLADERS HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR" BLADER DJ announced. "TO MY RIGHT, I HAVVVEE... AXEL!!! TO MY LEFT, I HAVVVEE... LUKE!!!". "I have to defeat him, I have been wanting to battle him since I saw him battle in the practice room." Axel wondered. "Eeh, just another battle. But this guy looks like a decent blader." Luke wondered also. "BLADERS READY." BLADER DJ said. Both bladers took out their light launcher 2 with a beypoint card and string launcher, attached their beys, and last but not least, they each putted on their glasses and got ready for the battle call." 3,2,1 LET IT RIP!!!" Both bladers shoot their beys. Both beys clash right at the start. A huge explosion happens right away. Both bladers are pushed against the field. "Oooww, that hurt alot but I'm not giving up. The battle just started!!" Axel yelled. Both bladers got back up with Luke saying anything. The battle continued."Go, Quetzalcoatl!!!" "Stamina Mode, Phantom Orion!!" Orion's PC frame changes clockwise and its core changed counter-clockwise. Quetzalcoatl hits Orion hard but doesn't lose any stamina. " That's the power of Orion's 'Stamina Mode'. What do you think??" Luke asked to Axel. "Pretty impressive. But wait for this. QUETZALCOATL!!!!!!!!!!!" Axel responded. Quetzalcoatl attacked Orion once again but did no effect. "it's like the last time you attacked me. Nothing happened." Luke said. Quetzalcoatl was losing more stamina every time it was spinning a full revolution. "Orion!! Attack Mode!!" Orion's PC frame turned counter-clockwise and its core turned clockwise showing that it changed from stamina mode to attack mode. "Orion, lets finish this! Special Move!! Orion! Phantom Swordflash!!!" Luke yells. Orion dashes at the speed of light to hit Quetzalcoatl. "Watch it, Quetzalcoatl!!!" Axel tries to avoid Orion's attack. An explosion happens. Smoke appears throughout the whole field. No bey or blader in sight. "WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?! Did both beys stop spinning?? Who won that fierce battle??" Blader DJ announced in wonder. " THE SMOKE JUST CLEARED UP" DJ announced. "AND THE WINNER IIIIISSSSS....". Orion was the first one seen by the audience. Orion had stopped spinning!! " Wow, wait!! Orion has seemed to look like its not spinning!! But where's Quetzalcoatl?!?!" blader DJ asked. Quetzalcoatl was still spinning like it wasn't hit by anything at all!! "The winner is Axel and his Quetzalcoatl!!!" DJ announced. "but how??" Luke asked. "Simple." Axel replied. "When you called your special move it almost hit my bey, but when I told my bey 'watch it, Quetzalcoatl!!', my bey moved a little bit. But not too far to avoid your attack. So when I moved, your bey hit me a little bit but not alot to stop spinning and you started to wobble and your special attack hit the wall of the field and you eventually stopped spinning. I saw it all happening." Axel explained. "And that's how I won this battle." "Ok now some live footage from our tournament in Illinois" DJ announces. A screen just came down showing footage of a tournament: There's a battle on the screen, a final battle!! It looks like the battle is between a VariAres VS. Big Bang Pegasis. One big smash finishes it all!! " The winner is VariAres and Derek!! You win 800 beypoints for winning 1st place." The video shuts down and the screen goes back up. "Now, Axel, since you won this tournament you get a prize of 800 beypoints." DJ announces. "See you all in Indiana for our next official tournament in 3 weeks.". Axel will practice way more to win that tournament, and maybe even face Derek and his VariAres.

Axel was going to do a long walk from Texas to Indiana but before he started, something weird happened. "Hey, you." A kid yelled. Axel turned around pointing at himself. "Yeah, you!" The kid said again. "Are you going to the tournament in Indiana?"."Yeah. In fact, I was going to walk all the way over there right now." Axel answered. "Wanna be part of my beyblade team?" The kid asked Axel. Hoping to say yes. "Sorry, I don't know who I'm dealing with." Axel answered. "Are you strong?" Axel asked. " Well, I don't really know. I lost in the first round V.S Luke. My name is Max." Max answered. " So let's battle!" Max exclaimed. "Sure." Axel replied. Both bladers took out their launchers and their beys. Max had a Ray Unicorno H:S. "What 4D bottom is that?" Axel asked. "That is H:S. It stands for Hybrid Survive. What it does is that it changes from CS to RSF during battle." Max replied. "Okay, let's start this" Axel said. "Agree." Max said also. "3,2,1 Let It Rip!!". Both bladers launched their beys. " Go Unicorno!!" Max yells and Unicorno goes directly at Quetzalcoatl. "Death Survival!!" Quetzalcoatl's fusion wheel turns black making a force field around it. "Unicorno!! Blitz Kreiger!!" Unicorno's fusion wheel turns green showing a green spark pointing at Quetzalcoatl. "What is that?!?!" Axel asked. "You'll see." Max replied. The green spark launches a ray pointing at Quetzalcoatl. Unicorno's 4D bottom turns from CS to RSF and dashes to Quetzalcoatl. They smash together. A huge explosion comes. The battle was over and the winner was chosen. The winner was Axel. "I'm going to ask you one last time. Do you want to join my team?" Max asked once again. "I've been thinking about it during our battle, and yes. I wanna join your team." Axel replied. "So how many people are in our team?". " Just us two." Max said. "What?!?! You can't have a team with just two people." Axel exclaimed. " That's why I'm going to the Indiana tournament and ask some strong bladers if they want to join or not. So what do you say?". "Yes. I will join your team." Axel replied feeling like this was going to be a big step in his beyblade career. Both Axel and Max walked to their next destination: Indianapolis, Indiana.

Axel and Max where already walking at the north side of Oklahoma. They had decided to take their first break in hours. "What now?" Max asked Axel while laying down on a wall like a street hobo. Not common on the north side of any state. "We have started our journey and if we decided to quit we wouldn't have anywhere to go to. Remember we're homeless." Max explained. "Yes. I know." Axel replied. Axel made an angry face and wondered of something. It was a house, a house burning. Axel was inside the house. A guy with a green colored hairstyle like Ryuga's. His bey was making a tornado making a fire around the house. All that Axel could have taken was his beyblade, his launcher, his beypoint card, and a bagpack that he had prepared for his journey the next day. " What are you thinking about?". Axel comes back to reality. "Nothing. Let's keep going." Axel replied as if he was in a rush. " But we only got 5 minutes." Max exclaimed. "We only got 3 weeks. Wanna be late and just hope we get a spot there." Axel reclaimed. "Alright. Let's go." Max replied. Both their cell phones started ringing. It was a message from the WBO's Blader DJ. It turns out that there was going to be a tournament in Oklahoma in the same spot that they were. It was 20 minutes away and the tournament was going to start in half an hour. So both Axel and Max went dashing to the arena.

Already at the tournament
Axel and Max were signing up for the surprise tournament in Oklahoma. "You two sign this form." the man at the registry booth told Axel and Max. They both signed. "Here," The man said. Axel got a card that read "A" and Max got one that read "E". "What are these?" Max asked. "You will know soon." The man said. "Proceed.". They went in a door. There were thousands of bladers in the next room. The room that they were both in led to another room filled with bladers. Each room had a letter from "A-H". Axel went to "A" and Max went to "E".
The tournament has started!!
Blader DJ announced. It's time for Block "A" to start battling 20 bladers stood almost squished up on the edge of the field. All bladers took out their launchers and beys. Bladers Ready all bladers putted one their glasses. 3,2,1 Let It Rip!! All bladers launched their beys. "Special move!! Dark warrior of death!!" Quetzalcoatl's beast comes out. Quetzalcoatl breaks in half all of Block "A"'s beys. The winner is Axel Blader DJ announced. Now to start with Block "B"
The boy who won was a 14-year old boy named Ryo. Let Block "C" commence The 12-year boy who won was Zakiah. Start Block "D"!! The winner was a 11-year old girl named Bridgette. Block "E" has started "Max is on this block," Axel thought. "Time to see what he's about.". 3,2,1 Let It Rip!! All 20 bladers launched their beys. "Go Unicorno!! Hyper Swordflash!!" Max shouts. Unicorno's beast comes out through the face bolt and the 4D bottom turns from CS to RSF and dashes to all the other beys. A huge explosion appears all of a sudden. The winner is Max . The winner of Block "F" was a girl named Queen. The winner of Block "G" was Jack. Block "H" has started This 14-year old boy was going to battle. "It was Derek, the boy from the Illinois tournament video in Texas." Axel realized. 3,2,1 Let It Rip!! One huge explosion just comes in. VariAres and Derek were the winners. Now that we have our 8 winners out of 160 bladers. Let the actual tournament commence!! Let's see you 8 bladers tomorrow. "What are we going to do?" Max asked to Axel. "We are going to have to stay somewhere. And remember we are homeless.". "Relax," Axel replied. " The WBO offers to trade our beypoints for money. If we both offer 200 beypoints, that will give us 400 dollars. So what do you say?"."Fine. Let's do this.". Both of them go to a WBO ATM and deposit 200 beypoints each. They both get 200 dollars and find a place to stay for a week. They had to pay 10 dollars each every day. They slept in separate beds. When they woke up. There were 7 hours to spare before the tournament started. They practiced their special moves, ate breakfast and lunch (there were tons of food and furniture in the apartment from the hotel they were staying at and it also came with a dish for beyblading, but no beast-coming-out-of-beyblade policy is not allowed in the hotel), got dressed, and went straight to the arena for the tournament that they both got in.

All the bladers who got second place came out to the arena. All of you will have a second chance "What is he talking about??" Max asked. Axel shrugged. All the second place bladers were asked to make a line and turn around to the public. These bladers will be part of the secret tag-team tournament we have planned out!! "Huh????" All bladers were shocked. Let's look over there at the computer to see who teams up with who. The computer had pictures of all the bladers and since Axel and Max had both won their blocks, their pictures were there as well. The computer started shuffling the pictures. Whoever is at the top is the first blader, whoever is on the bottom of them, that's their teammate. The computer kept shuffling, Axel was on top of Max. "YES!! We are teammates for this tournament!!!" Both Axel and Max shouted. Now that we have the teams ready, let's shuffle the teams to see which team battles which team. The computer starts to shuffle again. Axel's team went in the second battle. The first battle goes to Hiro and Ryo VS Cheng and Zakiah. Bladers ready. All four bladers readied up their launchers and beys and glasses. "3,2,1 GO SHOOT!!!" All four bladers shouted and launched their beys. "GGGOOOOO Kerbecs!!!!" Shouted Cheng to his Evil Kerbecs 230XF. "Let's do this, Cheng." Zakiah told Cheng, getting ready to put their plan into effect. Hiro and Ryo's beys were in the center of the field. Cheng and Zakiah's beys were in the edge. Cheng in one of them and Zakiah across from his bey. "GO Kerbecs!!!!" Shouted Cheng. "Go Dragonis!!!" Zakiah yelled to his Omega Dragonis. Both beys dashed to clash with Hiro and Ryo at the center. "Watch it, Kronos!!!" Shouted Hiro to his Scythe Kronos. "GO,GO,GO!!!" Shouted Ryo to his Diablo Pegasis B: D. Both kerbecs and dragonis clashed together and caused a huge explosion. They were mostly out of stamina. "Now is the time to strike, Ryo." Told Hiro to Ryo. "Agree." Ryo replied. "kronos!!!" Shouted Hiro. Kronos's beast came out with a pick axe. "Go Pegasis!!!" Ryo shouted. "Special Move!!! Kronos, Death calling!!!!". "Special Move!!! Pegasis, Dark Arrow!!!". Both beys went dashing to Cheng and Zakiah. A huge explosion comes out. And the winners are Hiro and Ryo!!!! Cheng and Zakiah's beys were broken into pieces. "Wow!!! Did you see that Axel? That was great!!" Max asked amazed. Axel wasn't paying any attention. "AXEL?? AAXXEELLLL????? AXEL?". "Who are they?? I can tell that they are strong. But too strong for a team that have never met before. HHUUUUMMM???" Axel was thinking in wonder. Battle #2 will start in a short moment. Here we have Axel and Max. Both Axel and Max wave for the audience. The crowd shouted. Next, we have Bridgette and Tala!!! Now it was Axel and Max's turn to battle. Now how are these 'Bridgette and Tala' good for a team. Find out in the next chapter.

Let's invite the next four bladers who would battle. At my right, I have Axel and Max. Axel and Max both came in from the right entrance to the field. In my left, I have Jack and Queen. Jack and Queen came out through the left entrance. Let's begin this battle. 3,2,1 LET IT RIP!!!!!! All bladers launched their beys. "Go, L-Drago!!!" Queen shouted to her L-Drago Destroyer. L-Drago Destroyer was going strong to Max's Ray Unicorno. "Block it!!! Quetzalcoatl!!!!!" Axel shouts. Quetzalcoatl dashes to be in front of Unicorno, blocking L-Drago's attack to Unicorno.
L-Drago clashes with Quetzalcoatl. A huge explosion comes. L-Drago loses stamina. "How come I only lost stamina but not you?!?!" Queen worries. "My Quetzalcoatl was in defense mode when you attacked. That's why I was so confident in blocking your attack." Axel explained. "Thanks alot, Axel." Max replied. "Don't worry, Max. Now, let's team up to defeat them." Axel told to Max. "Alright, let's go!" Max said. Both Quetzalcoatl and Unicorno went straight to Queen and Jack. "L-Drago!!! Stamina Mode!!!!" L-Drago's 4D bottom switches from HF to S. "Flame Libra!!!! Sandtrap!!!!" Jack shouts to his Flame Libra T125ES. The whole field turned from skate park floor to beach sand. Unicorno starts to slow down. "What's wrong?? Unicorno!?!?!" Max worries. "What's wrong, Max??" Axel asks. "It's Unicorno. It's starting to slow down." Max replies. "Oh," Axel realizes. "I know what to do." Axel thought. "Quetzalcoatl, Attack Mode!!!" Axel shouts. Quetzalcoatl changes from Defense mode to Attack mode.
"Tell Unicorno to hop on top of Quetzalcoatl!!!" Axel tells Max. "What???" Max is shocked. "Won't you lose stamina??" Max asks. "I told you not to worry about me, worry about the battle. That's all I did. I do worry for you. But I also worry for the battle. So tell Unicorno to hop onto Quetzalcoatl." Axel orders. "Unicorno," Max says. "Come on!!" Axel yells. "get on top of Quetzalcoatl." Unicorno gets on top of Quetzalcoatl. "What are you guys doing??" Both Queen and Jack ask. "You'll see!!!" Both Axel and Max shouted. Look at that teamwork. Both Axel and Max are working as a team. "Alright, Unicorno. Hyper Swordflash!!!!" Max shouts. Unicorno's beast comes out. Unicorno's 4D bottom turns from CS to RSF. "Quetzalcoatl!!! Special Move!!! Death Strike!!!!" Quetzalcoatl and Unicorno dash to L-Drago Destroyer and Flame Libra. "L-Drago!!! World Destruction!!!!" Queen shouts. L-Drago makes a tornado full of destruction in pitch black. "Flame Libra!!!!!! Special Move!!!! Libra Inferno Blast!!!!!" Libra shoots a firing green blast that is sucking every into the eye of the tornado. "Don't give up, Unicorno!!!" Max shouts. "GO,GO,GO Quetzalcoatl!!!!" Axel yells. All beys clash. A humongous explosion comes when the beys clash. Smoke comes out of everywhere. WOW!!! If you missed this, you will feel so sorry you did not see this live, or at TV from our viewers at home or LIVE by computer. The winners are still unchosen!!! The smoke clears up. The winners are... And no one has won yet!!! It turns out that Max and Queen have lost. Leaving Axel and Jack left spinning!! "Don't worry, I'll win this. For us!!!" Axel tells Max confidently. "Alright, win. For us!!". Max relies on Axel to win for them. "Quetzalcoatl!!! Death Strike!!!!" Axel shouts. One attack actually finished it all. Libra broke into a million pieces. "Libra?!" Jack says sadly. Libra shines broken. And the winners are Axel and Max!!! The crowd was cheering for them. They were now known by millions of people. "Yes!" Max yelled. Both of them holed hands and through them in the air. The crowd cheered louder. Both bladers went back to the entrance of the right entrance. They were stopped by paparazzi. "WBO news, how was your win today??" A reporter asks. "Well, Axel was the real star of the battle today." Max says. "Well, Axel, how was the battle for you??" Another reporter asks. "It was a really hard battle indeed. But me and Max together were able to pull it off." Axel answers. "This is for both of you, now," A reporter says. "Okay." Axel and Max reply. "How did you guys come with that move when Unicorno 'got on' Quetzalcoatl to make both of you go even faster??" A reporter asks. "Well, what really happened was," answers Axel. "since Unicorno was in RSF mode, I told Max to shout to Unicorno to get on top of my bey because the sand didn't help me a lot or gave me a disadvantage. And the spin velocity of Unicorno was really fast, so why waste it. Unicorno got on top of me. And it's spin velocity made my bey go even faster and faster." Axel answered. "Can we get a picture with your beys??" A reporter with a camera asked. "Sure." Both Axel and Max said. They took out their beys and smiled. The camera flashed. Axel and Max put their beys back in their pockets. The paparazzi left. They now went with Queen and Max. "How was this loss to you??" A reporter asked. "Shut up!!" Queen yelled. "What about you??" The same reporter asked and put the microphone he had on Jack. "Well," Jack was about to respond just when Queen pulls Jack away from the camera and leave running. Axel and Max walked away to their home knowing that they are still in the tournament.

Axel and Max's alarms went off. "Aagh, what time is it?" Max asked. "It's only 7:30. That's the time we put our alarms on." Axel answered. "Well, what are we going to do for 10 whole hours?" Max wondered aloud. "We should watch the news to know about tournaments and other beyblade related stuff." Axel said. They turned on the TV. They changed the channel to channel 562, channel BBN (Beyblade Broadcasting Network). "Now some footage from our match yesterday at the Oklahoma tournament yesterday." The reporter on the TV announced. Axel and Max were on TV. They were battling Jack and Queen from yesterday. "We also got behind the scenes with the two winners." The reporter said. They now showed the talk the paparazzi had with Axel and Max. "That's all for today. Join us at 7:30 to watch the next match of the Oklahoma tournament LIVE." The reporter announced. The TV now went to it's next show. Axel turned off the TV. "We should go to the beypark across the street. What do you think??" Max asked Axel. "Sure. Let's go already!!" Axel shouted excitingly. They both walked out to the beypark across the street. There were 5 fields. One had cinder-block as a ground (like regular fields are). The second field had water as the surface. The third field had a really big dome instead of a field, the fourth field had a cage filled with air so the beys could fly. The last one had gold for a ground. "Which one should we go to first??" Max asked. "We should go on everything. But first, what about that air field over there??" Axel asked pointing at the air field. "Good choice. Let's go." Max said. They both stood on each edge of the field. the ground's edge started to hover over the field. "Wow, what's happening??" Axel asked. "Don't worry," Max answered. "we are only going to hover 60 feet over the field so that our beys could actually fly." Max explained. "What do you mean by 'fly'??" Axel asked. "You'll see." Max replied. They were now 60 feet over the field. "Now we launch our beys. "3,2,1 LET IT RIP!!!!" Both bladers yelled and launched their beys. "Go, Quetzalcoatl!!!" Axel shouted, unsure of what will happen. Quetzalcoatl went dashing to Unicorno faster than ever. "Unicorno!!!! Hybrid Swordflash!!!!" Max yelled confident of finishing this already. "Quetzalcoatl!!! Death Survive!!!" Axel shouted. Quetzalcoatl switched from attack mode to defense mode. Both beys clashed. The winner was already decided. The winner was Axel. "Oh yeah!!" Axel shouted. "Alright! You won!!!" Max congratulates Axel. "Thanks!!" Axel replies. They both walk out. "We see you guys are strong." Two 14-year old boys tell Axel and Max. "why don't you battle use in the dome??" One of the boys asked. "We accept your challenge!!" Axel says. All four bladers step inside the dome. They get their launcher, beys and glasses ready. "3,2,1 LET IT RIP!!!" All four bladers shout and launch their beys. Quetzalcoatl makes full 360 turns. "VariAres!!!! Attack Mode!!!" One of the challengers shouted. "I know you!!!" Axel realizes. "Your Derek!!!". "So you have seen me." Derek said. "Who is that??? Axel." Max asked. "He's the winner from the Illinois tournament, Max." Axel explains. "Oh, okay. Now I know. Unicorno!!!!! Hyper Attack Mode!!!" Max shouts. Unicorno changes from CS to RSF. "Go, Fox!!!" The other challenger shouts to his Screw Fox. "Who are you??" Axel asks. "I'm Jake." Jake says. "I'm Derek's teammate for the tournament. "Alright!!! Go, Quetzalcoatl!!!" Axel shouts. All of the beys clash upside down and causes an explosion. "VariAres!!! Defense Mode!!!" Derek shouts. VariAres takes out yellow parts. It's beast comes out hiding from a shield. "Quetzalcoatl!!! Defense Mode!!!!" Axel shouts. Quetzalcoatl switches from attack mode to defense mode. Everybody loses exept Axel and Derek. "Unicorno!?!?" Max worries. "Fox!?!?" Jake worried. Both VariAres and Quetzalcoatl are losing way more stamina than normally. Quetzalcoatl lost it's spinning velocity and stopped spinning. Derek and Jack had won. "See you at the tournament." Derek said. "You guys haven't even battled in the first round. How can you be sure your going to win?" Max asked to Derek. "You'll see." Derek said. Derek and Jake walked out of the dome. Axel and Max also walked out. But they walked out knowing that they lost.
