What characters would you want in it and why?
All series are fair game, though digimon with a three tier evolution or standalone ultimates/megas are prefered.

If there was, there would be a large widespread of them. But here would be some good ones. The the partner Digimon in Tamer and their forms, V-Mons forms, Wormmon's forms and Bearmon's forms. And there is a good Digimon Fighting game, Digimon Battle!

Well, I'll eventually cut the list down to the most popular and/or important ones but I'd like to get something nice and conclusive first.
EDIT: I have had the human "Masaru Daimon" suggested and would like opinions. He seems like a viable option since he does beat up digimon with his bare hands but some people have concerns that he's too human. What are your thoughts on the matter?
@KaiserBurn: Digimon Battle is not a fighting game. For one thing, it's turn based.

Its still considered a fighting game. And my opinion on Masaru, he's the main character in the voted worse season of Digimon, Digimon Data Squad.
