Yes. I see that it is a circle now. But the way the bottom reflected the light made it look like a square. Sorry for that stupid post I made above.

Wow! 85-a track even LOWER than 90! Wonder if XF will be faster than RF. That would be pretty sweet to see!

RE: Mercury Anubis 85XF - Nevarios629 - Feb. 13, 2010

One could assume that at least some of these parts could be used in a potentially top tier attack-type customization. I imagine that track of Anubis' wouldn't hurt your Storm Pegasis. But doncha think that XF is kind of overdoing it with teh fast-spinning bottoms?

RE: Mercury Anubis 85XF - Kei - Feb. 13, 2010

85? I didn't think it was possible to go any lower! Haha.

More Attack Bottom options is always good. Looking forward to XF.

RE: Mercury Anubis 85XF - Hiro Ayami - Feb. 13, 2010

Very cool, definitely going to be on my must haves list now. I certainly hope XF isn't harder to control than WF though.

RE: Mercury Anubis 85XF - victorti83plus - Feb. 13, 2010

Looking forward to XF...but 85 track? really too low in my opinion...

85 track is too low!

To me it is impossible for plastic, no matter how wide it is, to be faster than rubber. It simply cannot grip the stadium as well as rubber.

RE: Mercury Anubis 85XF - JJsonickid - Feb. 13, 2010

but rubber may grip the stadium so well that it would not be able to spin very good

Friction indeed involves a lack of stamina, however a plastic Bottom will never go as fast or faster than a rubber Bottom. You may want to read the article I wrote in the Physics topic ...

RE: Mercury Anubis 85XF - Hyuuga Neji - Feb. 13, 2010

I can't wait for the 80 track!

Tru dat. Just got to wonder how it will perform. They had to call it Extreme Flat for a reason, didn't they?

Based on what? RF is very tall. R2F looks tall as well.

Too low? For attack types, you WANT low. It makes it easier to outspin other blades with vicious track attacks, and can (maybe) be a counter to 90 users!

RE: Mercury Anubis 85XF - Serotonin - Feb. 14, 2010

What? A .5mm difference will not allow you to counter another Beyblade ...

Which is why I put the (maybe) in there.

RE: Mercury Anubis 85XF - Maz - Feb. 14, 2010

Im interested in how some 85ms compacts will work.

I totally agree with you. A 0.5mm difference would minimal effects on the height. But if TT releases a 7mm track, I would start complaining.

RE: Mercury Anubis 85XF - G-Dragon - Feb. 14, 2010

what's the blue beyblade with a pegasis face near the bottom of the first picture?
looks like the wheel is made to bounce of the walls of a stadium from the picture

RE: Mercury Anubis 85XF - NAP - Mar. 11, 2010

Awesome. The scan said something about this being the limited ed. beyblade for the summer? I'm going to Japan this summer, stoked!!
85 is a beast. The beyblade its self looks amazing. This just may be my first MFB.

Actually it should start being part of the campaign at least around April.

RE: Mercury Anubis 85XF - NAP - Mar. 11, 2010

Ah, sorry. I think I misread the scan.
Also I feel like I necro bumped this thread. >.<
