PSP - Litrid - Dec. 12, 2007

What do you guys think of the PSP? I think its a really good system cuz you can hack it and play PS1 games on it and I going to get one for myself.

RE: PSP - Tototototototo - Dec. 12, 2007

The only reason I would even think to buy one of these is because of KH Birth by Sleep, and even then I'm pretty sure I'm not buying one.

RE: PSP - Roan - Dec. 12, 2007

I have a silver PSP slim and I love the system itself.

It just sucks that there are so few games worth playing on it. I'm still holding out hope for God of War: Chains of Olympus because it looks carp awesome, but right now my PSP is pretty much my portable web surfer/ RSS Feed reader. lol

Generally, I don't consider anything I have to hack the system to perform as a marketable function. Besides, I have a laptop if I ever want to emulate something that badly. If you want handhelds that are made for emulators, there are plenty you can import that do just that without having to hack the machine at all. I'd be far more interested in one of those than a PSP.

RE: PSP - Roan - Dec. 12, 2007

I wish Sony would take an Apple-on-the-iPhone stance concerning hacks and mods.

Unfortunately, Sony's iron fist over PSP security will likely never cease. Unhappy

RE: PSP - Bey Brad - Dec. 12, 2007

Good lord, I do not want Sony to lock down the PSP the way Apple has locked down the iPhone.

Just get one of the handhelds built for emulation ... Confused I kind of want one.

RE: PSP - Roan - Dec. 12, 2007

Whoops.

I totally carp that up. I meant the Apple TV and how they aren't trying to block out hacks. Or at least that's what they said at first, I dunno if they're following through with it.

RE: PSP - Bey Brad - Dec. 12, 2007

That's because nobody owns an AppleTV.

RE: PSP - Roan - Dec. 12, 2007

And for damn good reason. lol

RE: PSP - sam's temp - Dec. 13, 2007

I hear MPO is the carp.

RE: PSP - Roan - Dec. 13, 2007

I used to have it and I didn't like it very much.

Granted, I wasn't very fond of Metal Gear in the first place so my opinion probably isn't the most reflective of the game.

That game was complete and utter fanservice.

But it had so many retarded retcons just so they could fit certain characters in and is considered the worst cannon Metal Gear game story wise lol.

The online mode and soldier training always seemed like a pretty kick carp idea to me though.

RE: PSP - Roan - Dec. 13, 2007

I did enjoy the online modes briefly, but then Ratchet and Clank came along and I totally forgot MPO even existed.

Which by the way, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters is one of the best PSP games, if not THE best. (I know that's not saying much, but still...)

RE: PSP - sam's temp - Dec. 13, 2007

that new 333mhz god of war looks pretty ballin for a handheld game

I shall get that game cuz I am liking the Killzone games.

RE: PSP - Blue - Dec. 14, 2007

Have you played the one on Ps2? used, its totally worth finding.
liberation though makes big improvements on the series... I want them to port it to ps2 ( like gta liberty)
also lumines is good game

RE: PSP - Roan - Dec. 14, 2007

Lumines is carp awesome.

I'm addicted to that game. (I have the second one, which is wayyyy better, btw.)

RE: PSP - Elmo - Dec. 14, 2007

Pretty Small Penis? Gasp

srsly, the prices for memory sticks have gone down a lot. I'm sure you could get a 1 gig for a decent price.

RE: PSP - Pikachao - Dec. 16, 2007

I have a PSP. They're a great idea. Few problems...

1. They carp made everything brick the console if you use it.
2. There are only two games worth owning on it... No wait I miscounted... zero.
3. If I want to use the internet I go home. Portable internet will never be smaller than a laptop, waiting for a page to load for fifteen minutes FTL.
4. Chavs own them.
5. Chavs own them.
6. The DS is better.
7. It's not a console, it's a chav machine.
8. You can't hear your movies through earphones without hacking x10 volume six times at least.
9. WHY GOD WHY?!

also lumines is a game used to downgrade your PSP - fixed

RE: PSP - Blue - Dec. 17, 2007

wtf thats pretty negative?
