Big Bang Pegasis F:D Draft - DefStamina88 - May. 11, 2012

I didn't find a draft for this bey, so here it is...

Big Bang Pegasis was released in Japan on March 26th, 2011. It's name is to be changed to Cosmic Pegasus W105R2F by Hasbro in it's release. It is an Attack-type.

Face: Pegasis III
The Face Depicts Pegasis, one of the 88 constellations in space. Pegasis face now has the letters "P" and "S" in lightning like text, unlike the previous two face designs...

Clear Wheel: Pegasis III
Weight: 3.2 grams

Pegasis III resembles two Pegasis wings, just as the previous two designs had. However, It is more detailed. It was described to be heavier due to its iron filings (which gives the glittery appearance), but it only weighs 3.2 grams, the very same as Pegasis II. It is translucent dark blue in color.

PC Frame
Weight: 2.5 grams

Big Bang Pegasis features a PC, or polycarbonate, frame. It is a translucent red color that has a three-winged design similar to the Storm metal wheel. It also features two squared holes on each wing to help with it's mode change.

Metal Frame
Weight 25.48 grams

This Metal Frame, along with the Core, match together to to form the metal wheel. The Frame and Core are both designed with three wings, like Storm and the PC Frame. However, It is more bulky and the wings tend to curve up, unlike Storm's flat wings. This causes recoil increase.

Metal Core
Weight 13.81 grams

The Core contains three flat and sharp wings going in a leftward spin. This helps make the overall contact of the Metal Wheel possible. It is also designed to hold the Metal Frame together to the beyblade.

Big Bang Assembled

Big Bang is 50mm wide, about the same width as Hell.

By rotating the PC Frame and Core, Big Bang can switch between four modes, "Smash Attack", "Omnidirectional Attack", "Barrage", and "Upper Attack". Barrage and Omnidirectional Attack are consider to be the best modes overall. Big Bang, however, is not very useful in attack. Though not terrible, it is best used with spin tracks above 170 height.

Big Bang in Customization

To get the most out of Big Bang, MF-H Big Bang Horogium D125XF is great for Smash Attack. Unfortunately, It is still outclassed by wheels like Blitz, VariAres, and Beat.

4D Performance Tip: Final Drive (F : D)
Weight 5.85 Grams

Final Drive contains one of the tip-changing gimmicks. When launched, the tip is a blue Semi-Flat tip. Once rotation is lost, the SF tip retracts, and turns into a wider RF tip. The reason the RF is wider because it would immediately lose balance if it was not wider. Most of the time RF changes, the bey just circles around the stadium and eventually runs out of spin.

FGrin does not feature much use in Attack, and tips like RF, R2F, LRF, and even LF outclass this bottom. Despite this, F-D is good for Anti-Meta customizations.

Overall:

Despite it's secret use in Anti-Meta, Big Bang Pegasis is not very useful for any of its parts, and do not serve very much use competitively. There is little to no reason to buy this beyblade aside from collection purposes.
