ED145 is on the competitive combo list, but Rock isn't. Storm is a good Attack wheel. Rock is not a good Defense wheel. Storm can still knock out top tier Defense combos. Rock struggles with defeating top tier attack combos.

EDIT: What I"m saying is that Storm still works well in competitive meta, but Rock doesn't.

It had a Metal Face.

As far as I know, Rock is the best defence wheel for Hasbro peeps.

Dude said: "In fact, it's more common to include budget options in Competitive Meta analysis because they will be there because they are exactly that, budget and easy access."

Yes, but my point is it's not a good Defense wheel in general. Storm is the best Attack wheel for Hasbro players, and it is also a good Attack wheel in general.

There is a limit to how far usefulness should give way to budget. I don't think Dark should ever be on the competitive list even if Hasbro sends one to the house of everyone in America free of charge.

That's not really the point. Most Hasbro users won't be able to buy the blades in the list, so they'd have to settle with Rock. Thus, with dude's logic, it should be in the list.

I see what you're getting at. Well, this will all be a moot point when Earth Eagle comes out.

If it comes out in August...

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Kai-V - Jul. 29, 2010

We all have the same means to get the 'unreleased' Beyblades (except OkiBlaze ...), so in my opinion it is fair to leave only the very best combinations. In the same logic, it is pointless to actually open a Hybrid Wheel Format in Organised Play considering all the same conditions are required to get the Metal System Beyblades. If you do not have enough money or are too young, then you probably cannot buy even many Beyblades in your local stores, and it is possibly more difficult to get to those stores depending on how far they are, since they cannot drive a car ... Anyway, you understand. Every kid could just 'beg' their parents to order several items online for their birthday, or for other special occasions like Christmas.

Metal Flat has not been released yet. Moreover, post tests if you really discovered stamina and defence in that combination.

I feel MF Pegasis 145RF should be added ._.

IF added, state that the fit between Face-Wheel-Track-Bottom is tight and that are to be no wobbles. Smile

Whilst videos and opinions of it deem the custom to be very impressive, I think peoples' actual testing of it requires more rounds, i.e. something like 20 instead of 10. You can extrapolate as much as you want but a higher number of rounds gives a much more accurate view than estimation.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - BlackAce - Jul. 30, 2010

I'm going to use my new webcam to make videos of top tier MF Beys, but using MF-2 instead.

Any suggestions?

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Corey - Jul. 30, 2010

Add to tests that have already been done. Test things like Quetz 90RF, Storm Pegasus 100RF against MF2 Earth Bull C145WB, and see if the little bit of extra weight on the defense combos increase win percentages.

not to sound like a total noob but where can you get metal facebolts?
